manytimes it does'nt react when you jump, and that is really annoying almost every level with a deadly thing made me die of this. 2/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The only thing that makes this game slightly difficult, is the slow jumping response. And on some other levels, this reason means you need a lot of precise timing. Still a good game. 4/5

well i have finshed all the levels but didnt get all the coins I think with a few updates the game could be alot better if u change these things i will give a 5/5 and lots others will too probaly.
1 fix the delay of jumping
2 give a minimap becaus as 1793 said its hard on later levels to know where to go
3 play the game urself and fix the glitches cause the glitch that maddog mentioned should of been found earlier!! and there are more in the game just like that

The controls definitely do get a little sticky around level 7. I found that the best solution was to tap the space bar as quickly as possible -- you jump the same height regardless of how long you hold down the space bar, so if you let it go immediately, it seems to improve the chance of the game registering your next press.

the idea is nice. but buggy controls mess up the only thing you can control. the JUMPING. seriously, did you test this game?

I don't see why people think this game is so hard. The badge is a medium badge and it is rightly so. There are a few challenges, but in general the game isn't hard at all. I enjoy the one button control system and how good of a game they made out of it. It is a rare find to see a good game that is challenging and puzzling which only requires one button. Some delay in controls, short game 4/5

Like the idea and got the easy badge. The controls are too annoying though for me to even think about trying for the medium one. Sometimes the little bugger just won't bother to jump, no matter which input method I choose. This was frustrating enough up to level 8.

Okay, gimme 15 points and I won't try anymore.
Seems to be a common complaint.
The game is hard, that is not the problem. The game does not accept input within .2 seconds of landing, or somesuch. Post your code; we'll fix it. For free. Try us.

well i like giving good comments but jumping doesnt respond sometimes wich isnt so bad but on level 7 its almost impossible because u need to click 30 times for 1 jump 3/5

The badges should be set to hard and/or impossible, it's just impossible to play this game until you get the last badge... A game like this has only one or, maybe, two purposes.
1 - To be fun which it isn't because of the controls which, instead of fun, guarantees frustration
2 - To be challenging which it is, not because you will fry your brain to solve a puzzle but because it requires the player to be crazy doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result which, as absurd as it may sound, happens everytime.
Fix the controls and you have a, not so challenging, fun game. My lowest grade so far was 3/5 for a game I really hated but was functional. We have a new record here... 1/5 (because there is no 0/5)

loved the game, and how it isnt to hard, but not to easy neither.
some minor delay for me at least using spacebar. which made bonus lvl 3 very frustrating hehe.
still. an 5/5 from me. ^^

I think i found a bug-on level 9, if you jump just before you reach the exit you go off the screen, the screen moves down towards the starting position as if you are going to respawn but you dont come back.

Some people like these kinds of games, others don't. So it goes. There are probably more creative things to do with it, like with the bonus levels. It is what it is though; a one-button platformer. I enjoyed it.
I'd be interested in a regular style platformer or something more metroidvania from this developer.

A nice game, I've really liked it. If you will make a sequel it would be better if we can move the character, to get rated higher, or you could use the single button option. Anyways I've enjoyed this game.

i didnt see a problem with jump detection but maybe i just got used to the controls fast. It wasnt a bad game but it was nothing special.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Great game especially the Bonus levels. A sequel with all those kinds would be awsome. The puzzles were not too challenging and I did not have any problems with getting all the coins. 5/5

The game had trouble reading my inputs, leading to me double-tapping whenever I wanted to jump. Level 5 was not possible to finish because the blocks disintegrated the moment I touched them, no matter what I did. 1/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Everything is great until level 7, where the broken jump detection just ruins it. A while after that it stops being fun. Gets really frustrating restarting over and over, especially when you defeat the evil input detection monster and get killed by something at the end of a level you couldn't possibly have avoided first time round. Even being able to scroll the level at the start to see what's ahead would have helped.

A lot of people seem to dislike this, but I really didn't find it that bad. In fact, I dare say I liked it: by far not the best game available on Kongregate, but definately not the worst either. The jumping seemed a little unresponsive at times, and for some reason I seemed to be lagging (despite never lagging on anything much more hard on the system) so those should be adressed, but overall, not bad. Also, bonus levels are pretty fun ;) 4/5 from me!

For all of you saying that this game sucks try to look at it from a design perspective. They only have one action they are allowed to do, effectively making this a one button game. I challenge any of you to try to come up with something better under this limitation.

Anyone else think all 43 coins is a lot for a medium badge? 42 I'm okay with. In these kinds of games it seems like everyone has one level that is the bane of their existence. I'm looking at you level 16....
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Great game! Bonus levels were really cool. I don't understand why people are giving this a bad rating, it's a more complicated Cannabalt.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
controls need to be a bit tighter when jumping on small platforms or when you land on a platform after sliding against its side(ie lvl 7)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Moving automatically makes this game very annoying. Not even going to try for the badges. Waste of time and not fun to play.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
well good aliens, you may keep betty for as long as you like. i can't care less anymore...do whatever you want. i'm going to find another wife not that *jumpy*.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Nice idea, but the when pressing jump the input detection doesn't always work. Badges are going to be a horror to get cause of this. 3/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
While I love the idea, the controls are plain disappointing. I click 2-3 times each time I need to jump and HOPE it takes. What if I need to land and jump instantaneously? Good luck... 3/5 at best.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm surprised by my affinity for moving automatically... it's kinda nice to just jump. That being said, this is a few uninteresting levels too long. There's only so much fun one can have with type of game because the difficulty/challenge of the game is determined only by two things: timing your clicks and solving the basic puzzle of finishing the level with all coins. Timing your clicks is only interesting for a few minutes and there's only so interesting a puzzle that one can make when the only option is for you to jump, jump higher, run faster, or turn around.
3/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's hard to have a game dealing completely with jumping and having it so that most of the time, when you press the up arrow, nothing happens. It's so frustrating to be right at the end of the level and all of a sudden the button just doesn't work.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Earning coins is higher priority than saving his girl-friend. Stupid him even can't turn around if no wall's there. LOL. Btw, the end is fun! (4/5)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
interesting concept, you really have to think about what to do since you are like a car on a highway with broken brakes.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Mm, so not only is it a frustrating platformer that demands perfection, but my character has all the intelligence of a Lemming? Fantastic. I suppose the removal of arrow keys does eliminate some of the guesswork, but I can't call it an improvement.
