I don't mind the auto-targeting, but the ship needs to rotate a lot faster for it to be viable given how slow I am compared to the enemies. Tying rotation speed to the speed upgrade would help. I've also noticed that my bullets tend to despawn when several enemies are on-screen, which creates a nice death spiral (more enemies -> can't kill enemies effectively -> even more enemies etc.).

Yeah, this isn't even worth playing without quality toggle. I'm getting killed, and don't even know what's hitting me. I have to hold space to enter shop. No thanks.

Where's the quality toggle button for slow computers? Way too much lag when enemies come on screen! Unfortunately, this effects your rating!

is it a beta ? How to win the game ? i already killed 3 times the last boss the big bow ship formless... I kill it and Boss Health remains half .. but ship gets destroyed .. so .. how to win the game ..

VERY good game! Thanx a lot! Just little things that i things may need to get improoved.: When your ship turns around automaticly to aim, i would like to keep the control of my ship. Mouse come first! Then, more ships and upgrades, the games was done really fast. For the rest, controls, upgrades are working perfectly!

It's a reasonable game but isn't particularly inventive. Most of the concepts here have been explored in other games more deeply.
Game climax: "And my ship flew off and was never seen again."

Been waiting for a sequel to frantic frigates to come out for a while, it was a well crafted time-killer with great replay value. A few notes on this game, since you get to keep your upgrades between rounds the replayability factor is much lower after you beat the game once. And there's waay too much money in the game. For instance, why would anyone ever buy "loot 5"? by the time you have it, you don't have any more use for money. Also, between rounds when waiting for the boss, bonus chests will spawn forever if you don't go kill them right away. And there seems to be an issue with the bullet sprites dissapearing when you're a specific distance from the enemy. Fix these things (maybe back to the drawing board a bit) and you've got yourself another ingenious, addictive-like-crack winner :)

This looks like a lazy rehash of Frantic Frigates. There's lots of potential, but that was already realized in the other game that used this engine. 2/5, points deduction for being so incredibly lazy.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Not bad, but the last boss was disappointingly easy. This game has solid core mechanics but is rather uninspired and short in my opinion.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Auto fire takes away from the game, it also misses the target if you are not right next to it. Game is good for an asteroids type shooter but not very enjoyable

Vogd is right, at the end the ship flies out of the screen, the little triangle pointer remains and that's it. you can click menu but nothing else happens.

After getting rank general and completing the game for the second time, i got a bug: "Sector clear" is keeping appearing with no ending. About last boss it seemed it was destroyed when is hp were not zero but like 3/10.
Btw I still enjoed the game, it have potential.
3/5 as it is for now
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Its a good game and it makes much fun.
But there are some bugs
1)
The hitboxes are on some points messed up. Like if im above an enemy thats facing sidewards to me the bullets are exploding before they hit the enemy.
2) The rate of fire changes constantly. If im really close to an enemy the fire rate goes down and early in te game if you arent fast enough for the first boss you are shooting really slow if you are to near.
3)The ending. Maybe its because those boxes(?) that appear are counted as enemies but after i finished the boss the plane flew away but there was still a box on the map..therefore the game doesnt continue with the ending sequence.
I also have some ideas for improvements...Maybe some more upgrade levels or different worlds. Like...first world on earth, second in space, third on the planet of the aliens. Maybe something like that...
But despite those little bugs and some flaws ill give this a 4/5
Fix those bugs and its a 5/5

This game has a lot of great potential! So many things you can do with it - multiple ships with their own sets of upgrades, different sectors with a map/lvl select, different sets of bosses for each sector, etc. All in all, a great game, but I wish there was more to it! :)

I can't enjoy this game. Really. It's obviously an almost entire copy of Frantic Frigates and as such, I prefer the Berzerk game, so why play this instead? I see you tried to alter the system, but this one doesn't really make it better...

In a game that centers entirely around upgrades, the player should never be able to max out all upgrades before the end of the game (at least not without grossly excessive grinding). Otherwise, upgrades cease to feel like achievements, and feel like artificial padding - which they are, of course, but the point is that you need to distract the player from that fact.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's a solid game, but sadly it's almost an exact copy of Frantic Frigates (with maybe the exception of permanent upgrades and lack of achievements). It even has the starting money statistic at the end of a round, a mechanic that doesn't even exist :| It's a solid game, but only because it's a copy of a good game. 2/5

Fun, some original ideas (love the acceleration thingy) and overall well executed. BUT ;) Some improvements I would like to see is:
Smaller hitbox. It's never a good Idea to make the hitbox exactly the same size as the graphic. This because of different things like lag etc.
Second, waaaay more upgrades, not necessarily different kinds just more of the same is enough, because ones you are fully upgraded the game isn't as fun anymore (not just this game, goes for all upgrader/shooter etc).
Last, there seems to be some garbageproblem with the code or something, it gets laggier after a while.

great game, sector cleared at the end, i don't think it's a bug, i think it's the end game but the developer didn't add the end screen!!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Inferior grindfest version of Frantic Frigates, AND it has an anticlimactic end (that boss is far too easy). The music plain sucks, and the graphics are forgettable. 2/5.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
not a bad game but now that I beat it I dont see myself playing it again. Movement is a little buggy but I like the auto targeting. if you do a version 2 give slots to the ship you can upgrade with different guns and the like. thanks for the simple time sink
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Good game and all but at the end, after the last boss, the plane just flies off the screen and it stucks (I'm using chrome).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Very nice game....but bug at end for me too...once u kill 3rd boss, the ship runs out the screen on the right and after that the game stucks
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Great game, but was there an ending after the final boss? After my plane goes off screen (after killing the final boss), nothing happens. No mention of points, scores, achievements or anything. I had to close game in order to get to the main menu.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Is the game over after the 3rd Boss??? Because on NORMAL after defeatin' the 3rd Boss, my ship just leaves the Screen and nothing -.-
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's cool but I got a few bugs : I got hit by 2nd boss laser (heard the sound) but the laser was invisible. Also, I just beat the 3rd boss, my ship left the screen, but nothing happenned since... Is there an end screen ?

Hmm, this is pretty fun albeit as many others have said it feels too short. Expansion would be worthwhile, I think we could all get behind some more of this game. That being said, a few fairly minor things that could be options or use some work. First, I'd sort of like the option to be able to do my own aiming - maybe move with WASD and aim with the mouse? By all means keep the auto-aim thing in as default, but it'd be nice to have the choice to do my own aim/prioritization. Second, along the same lines - maybe have some basic tower defense-style aiming options to pick? Strongest, weakest, nearest? Just to put some strategy in the auto-aim perhaps? Actual minor gameplay issues: money falling off the screen before you get a good magnet is really irksome, please take that out. Also, the auto-aim should stop targeting the bosses when they die, not when they get done with their explosion animaton - that can be annoying. That's about it really, excellent work :)

A fun game consider adding increasing difficulty sectors, all you have to change is that background from blue to red and increase by 150% health on all enemies for second sector, then a similar approach to a third sector (200% health on all enemies) and you could stand a chance of getting badges for your game!
