I have Three Osiris and Two Vulcans that I use. (I actually have FIVE Vulcans available). You will find that it is best to feed the second to your first as the improvement is so much. It also raises its maximum level by 15 as well as its maximum improvement from 13 to 15.
Actually I see very little difference in the loot stat. Has anyone used 5 vulcans to see just what it does for the loot you get? Does it have any real effect?

I finally got my first Osiris. Question: when I get a second one, is it better to just start leveling it up, or feed it to the first one to make it stronger? Also, how many do people usually like to have?

@silvadel I didn't smelt it, I'm just saying thats how much it would give me if I were to do so (as opposed to the 4k for the probably hacked sword that I found which didn't have as many stars). Base was 27.

@Toa Why did you smelt that? As many stars as it has, it is almost certainly better than any reasonably crafted 40 base, unless it is something nuts like 19 base.

Bug (appeared after last upgrade): The windfall guy doesn't get any experience from mobs - neither in the main slots nor the inventory exp slots. Apart from that good and addicting game. Encounter chance for rares could be a bit higher (maybe 0,5%) - or put up recruit rate!

Hmm -- I use three osiris and 2 vulcans and I haven't seen anything over 39 YET... Everything I have is 39 at least. I also have 2 horus for when new dungeons are added and I need more fear. To those despairing about getting the rares to appear. They appear often enough but I doubt the join percent of 32 is correct, albeit insufficient sample size. Do not worry about upgrading lesser monsters initially -- you really want 0% heal rate and a lot of red so you run through monsters FAST if you want the rares.

Also, what does loot rate even affect? Only the chances of getting a equipment to drop? If that is so, might I suggest it perhaps renamed to fortune rate, and affect rare monster appearance/recruit rates to at least a tiny degree, with diminishing returns or somesuch.

4 Days of idling, checking every 20-40 min except when I sleep....and I have yet to even encounter any of the 0,15% appearance rares. They aint even visible in my album yet... I know it's RNG messing with me, but it shoutldn't get THIS bad.

seeing as youre still making mobs with an essentially 0% chance of being encountered, and bosses with an essentially 0% chance of joining you, gonna have to just walk away from this game. i like it, but those ridiculous drop and encounter rates are just plain retarded. without a system in place to automatically sell shit tier monsters, i can idle for any period of time and have essentially 0 chance of ever getting a special mob. because my monster inventory fills up with the quickness.

suggestions. add rare/shiny(<1% chance) types of all recruits, to get the upgraded rare you would have to combine 2 of them. More skills or more places to spend gold. +only if you agree.

@ApatSoc Are you using a very high LOOT stat crew -- IE like 3-5 vulcans for your hunting for 41s or do you have a low loot stat? Just curious if that has anything at all to do with the frequency of high base items(+ or -)

@krono afaik there is no monster named gamma obtainable yet, and the highest base is not yet conclusively known (at least 41 though).

found a base 41 item, either theyve got an interesting range distribution with higher bases being increasingly rare (compared to the average) or the item-base increases with some factor we havent considered yet (maybe party max/average level?)

@destroy alright, looks like youre right.
@dev there really needs to be more endgame content, stuff like more (and higher capped) skills, monster rebirthing (at their respective max level for example) and so on. Currently crystals and gold pile up to the sky with little to do with them, some kind of sink is needed.

The booster monster is basically to earn more xp for your other recruits, @Apac trust me even before volcano eternia at level 50 was worse than pyramid.

@ I have farmed eternia until level 70 and the drops were not as good as volcano, and yes zones and mobs do determine the quality of the base, but with that in mind there is a cap.

Loot "chance" seems to drop significantly if you close the tab and play it a day later. At one point, I was getting 4-5 monsters every 3 minutes. 2 days later, I've gotten 4 monsters total.
Either that, or after you get a loot value of at least 800, the chance of getting a monster or item drops...

@dnzpc base-stat-range of items seem to differ by the area you get them in and by the strength of the killed mob (afaik), therefore there might be no actual cap, with higher eternia mobs giving ever better items.

scratch the other post, i just got a base 39 banner after getting around 10 base 38 hm, so max base is 39 with a very low chance of dropping?.

Maybe you could add a rebirth feature? (like hunterstory ascendence?) Let's say you beat stage 100 of eternia, we get to have a permanent bonus. (added capture %, atk bonus, lower skill cost, etc.) Next following rebirth would require us to beat stage 100+times rebirth. Just my own ideas.

Why have the drop rate amount of creatures decreased insanly since the update. quite hard to get the good ones that only show around 1 in a 100 if you dont get them every time ;)

Having 4 Osiris2 im having some trouble with red crystals while having 7k green 9k blue. Maybe a way of changing 5 crystals for 1 of another color or some upgrades to buy with them could be cool.

@psytravis you have to click on the heroes to get xp, clicking on the monster doesn't do anything :P. Also updated protip- In the new area you can get base 38 items, time to change all the items :P.
