Saying the same as everyone else really. Great game and concept but flawed by the bugs and bad physics engine.
- Bouncing balls should still do a decent amount of damage.
- Walls falling on enemies should splat them, especially annoying to have the king at the bottom of a pile of walls on his face but not counting as killed.
I gave it a generous 3/5 but I'd love to see the bugs fixed, the engine revamped a little and a generally more user friendly UI (level selects, restart level instead of game).

oh yeah and the "Not to mention that you can choose the "reset" button to keep all upgrades if you lose." bug is rediculous... reset your variable on a new game... no brainer.

decent game, but much much room for improvement. take the time to fine tune and test your games before you release them. Annoying things like menus not closing, space bar not always triggering the catapult, and imprecise score keeping make this game fall well short of where it should be. Could be a lot more fun with a bit of work. 2/5

I give this game 2 stars. Buggy physics, boring gameplay, repetitive levels, too much guesswork on where to aim. Not to mention that you can choose the "reset" button to keep all upgrades if you lose.

great game, very addictive, just needs some more improvements such as being able to kill the king and maybe a slightly larger leeway for error.

Restarting after failing one round is really annoying. It'd be more enjoyable if I could pay a penalty to continue. The window to hit the target properly is incredibly narrow --- it being a trebuchet and all that --- so give us some more leeway on screwing up a few shots.

Okay playing this a bit more and I must say it needs more than just a little work. A wall falling on the king doesn't kill him? I call hijinks. Better upgrades would be cool too, and a better launching segment to know how to time the shot would be nice too. Great concept, but keep working on it! Physics are nice but I feel like when the rock hits the ground it should probably roll more. Level select also maybe? I don't know, I hope you keep working on the game though, I'd be excited to see what you could do with it.

If this was refined it would be great, but as it stands its addictive but too buggy to be consistently good. If you refine the scoring, add some kind of launch indicator, even make it optional if you want, and of course more violence is always good.

decently fun timing based game, having to restart after failing one round kinda kills it for me and the weapon upgrades are a little lame. overall 3/5

i really like this game, and have been back to play it again and again in the hope that my main 'complaints' have been rectified. however, it doesnt seem to have happened. I don't see why a bouncing cannon should then mean it has no effect when it hits the wall. surely if it has speed, it can still cause damage. the aim is really hard, and i think silversonic has a good idea about aim and power gauges. i really like this game and think it has great potential, but it needs some work.

I agree with the other comments- good concept but needs some work. The bugs with the keyboard and scoring are annoying, and the ability to restart just one level would be nice. Also, adding some way to judge where the shot is going to be heading would be nice. Good concept, but only a 2 or 3 star game right now. if you fixed those issues and tweaked it a little (maybe add a storyline?) it would be a good 4 or 5 star one.

Perhaps a power meter, launch meter, or something that gives a power guage to make it easier to gauge when to launch the rock.

I like the concept of the game but I feel as though the whole launching mechanism is a bit too difficult to use. :-\ It's taken a good bit for me to find just the right moment to launch the rock to not aim too low or too high. I also found it annoying when I hit the ceiling? I believe I could do some nice damage to the castle if I had space to launch upward.

the new weights are fun but having better ammunition which did more damage would made it more enjoyable, a few ideas: a greased pig on fire. a spike ball. a man. hell, anything that splats. Great game actually, way too many bugs but i still like it. keep up the good work cubegames!

Just tries versions 1 and 2. If they sucked that bad, why would people think 3 would be any better? Then again, they did make Highlander 3, and 4.

Agree with some previous comments: nice concept but buggy. Why don't I score for kings who are lying on their backs under a pile of stone? Why is the highscore submission dialog currently telling me "You scored 5120" when the score counter at the top of the screen says "670/6850"? What's the invisible obstacle which bad shots too near the trebuchet bounce off? Why is it not clear when my keyboard input will be accepted and when it will be ignored?

Not sure if it's lag or bug, but the game seems unresponsive... often. Scrolling is not smooth, and trebuchet doesnt always release when space is pressed.

i love the game but it still has alot of work to do. get it all sorted out and it gets 5/5... 4/5 for now tho. love the game tho... still worth playing lol

This game shoud be called "Castle Clout 3.0 Alfa release", or "Castle Clout 0.3". It have too much bugs :( , and starting over and over from the begining is realy annoying. But game have potential i spent 30 minutes on it :).

Lags, full of bugs, based on a principle that was exploited far too often in the recent time, however with a new twist, if that would work it would get 3/5, but since most of the time it seemed i couldn't let loose from the first shot each level, it gets 1/5
