Things that work. Build double turrets, repair turrets, and barricades for defense. Ignore all other turrets, they are not cost effective/slow/range/too much space. The double turrets will kill anything short of a Annihilator (spamming fighters/carriers will kill this easily, only 4 guns). For attack build in this order according to how much cash you have. Super Carrier ($2250), Light carrier ($550), Fighters ($75). You might notice there is a central theme here... fighters... Get enough of them and the enemy won't have enough guns to fire on them all. The fighter exploding does damage to it's surroundings too... Think of them as kamikaze bombers. The Super Carrier trumps the Annihilator easily. Numbers... All other units than these listed are not as cost effective. For economy, if there are a lot of asteroids use minors. Otherwise use reactors, skip the generators.

Would be nice if the game had an actual difficulty level instead of a cheatometer. Seriously, the enemy killing my base before a light fighter is finished is not a sign of a fair game.

well, this was a fun but annoying little game, most of what i have to say has already been said buthere we go. first off the Green infester enemies are HORRIBLY overpowered, someone mentioned repair turrents curing infestation but i've yet to see that happned, if they get a single building you're done, way too many way too much, and it kinda annoys me that i finnally get to clone those for almost s much as a starport and they barely make anything, however i think the purple "Swarmers" are overpowered as well and i simply CANNOT unlock the dreadnought no matter what i try to do on that mission. really, swarming strategies in gneral are just unbeatable in this game and while it makes sense, i didn't even notice the ship and turrent upgrades when i bought them. in general you have only one option, carriers, carriers everywhere, and if that doens't work you're screwed.

The infection is literally overpowered, I mass defenses and ships but their small ships turn my larger ships against me, or one lucky shot takes my main base so i can not build anymore.. Great game just think the green is overpowered!

Miners cost the same as reactors, and produce about the same amout of energy,but smithing enemies while they do!But each physics lab doubles the power of miners!

Pro tactics:ALL LEVELS-Pause as soon as you enter the level to use the starting energy and pause when you have enough energy to spend it.Skirmish and Defense levels-build 1 or 2 reactors and then spam light carriers Stardocks.Later use Fleet carriers or Heavy Fleet carriers if you can.Black Hole levels-don't worry about energy and spend all in Fleet Carriers.Duels-use the constructor to advance your building range toward the enemy base and build defense turrets right near his buildings.You will need to unpause and pause to have the constructor to expand your range.SIDE NOTES:explosions hurt ALL buildings and spaceships.Keep the battle far from you.Carriers will produce endless volleys of ships, even if the previous are still alive.It's ok to use your base as shield for your starport, as three large ship are usually enough to win most levels.

Since you don't get extra money from completing missions a second time, I'd like to see something to differentiate completed from not completed missions

Pretty cool game. Good balance and enough unlocks and upgrades too keep me interested. Not very often that a flash game keeps my interest longer than an hour. 5/5

If we had number hotkeys, it would so much easier to place multiple blockades, generators, and etc. with speed. If we could customize the hotkeys, that too would be great.

Is it a problem that you can win most levels by covering the screen in miners by using 7+ physics labs and a block of fighter hangars?

to chrisIs3113: Ive been getting that too on missions 8 +. looks like these missions are timed - there's a message in the bottom corner about a black hole i think you need to start and finish fast to get thru these

This is a great game. It could get 5 stars and gain immortality with an update. I echo other comments about a sell button. I also would like to see a few tweaks that make for longer, deeper games: 3 auxiliaries, lower production rates, and things that have recurring energy costs so you don't reach a point where your energy reserves are so high they are effectively unlimited. 4/5...for now.

Do your own turret shots damage your own shields? I've been trying to test and figure that out, and it seems like they do but it's hard to tell. Is there anyone that knows for sure?

Infect is too OP when static is there. A good way to balance it would be to disable infect as well when static is happening.

You can cheat on any defense and the final mission by building 4 shield generators and as many money making buildings as you can. The second wave does not come until you have killed all of the first wave - which allows you stack up.. say 30k minerals before you remove all the money making buildings and continue with building enough spaceports that produce ring ships and dreadnaughts as you could possibly need.

Jermell - You can build things while the game is paused. I had a battle the other day where I literally paused it every couple of seconds so I could rebuild my defenses.

This game is enjoyable, but having the opponent start with fully-assembled ships and structures is a lazy approach. It turns what could be a tactical build order into a frantic rush to make up for a stupid game mechanic.

Can we get a 10 second timer to set things up before things start? I've had games where a single misclick caused me to get destroyed because I couldn't rush my defenses out.

Very good game! I sometimes got into a stalemate later on though; with all capital ships dishing it out and the explosions chaining all across the map, blowing up both of our bases... To tell the truth I'm playing the same mission still. 45+ minutes, give or take. :)

Something that really helped me was a barricade/miner combo. Later the physics lab makes this very good. For many of the missions you don't need defenses or generators, just minors/ physics labs. It works because the miners are making money while boosting your numbers. Choose whatever ships you want to accompany and it worked all the way though the game.

Tip needed please: How do you beat the Mission - duel, difficulty 71, reward 265, far left side of the map and 4th sector from the bottom. The level where they spam turrets on / near your starting point then send in medium ships. I have tried using shields, cades, moving away with constructors but can't seem to get a foothold. Please help, would love an inbox message or a shout if possible. Thanks.

Once ur at the last levels you ca build to the other towers than summon missile boxes and win, i won like second to last level in 3 seconds

Not being able to see where I'll be able to build makes the UI the deadliest enemy here. Not big on having to fight the interface first.

I think infected are to make the game more difficult (though i don't know how to beat them when they have a 10x10 square of turrents and a 5x5 ship building area

These ships are friggin stupid. "Oh hey everything over there is being infected by some weird green stuff. I think I'll go and take a look OH NO I GOT INFECTED!" Wouldn't happen if they'd just stay back and fire.
