@UndendingFirepowr Not true. The carriers(light, fleet, and super) both spam the fighters. I won a few infector battles this way, although I agree on also putting in a lot of rockets and beam cannons :)

sorry about double post, but also the beam cannon works well on doing damage to the infected gun ships and maybe even the medium ships if the circumstances are right. when the beam cannon destroys infected ships, the little infestors will be taken out by your rocket turrets.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@spiderknight to beat the infected you need to spam fighters. id use miners and gunships. if you use the medium or even capital they can easily become infected and then destroy you before you can generate another medium/capital ship. also you will want a few rocket turrets to take out the little infestors and since they travel in little groups of about 3-5 rockets make a good defense.

The difficulty is bullshit, I complete a difficulty 40 without problem, but on a difficulty 27 I get swarmed by fighters destroying me generators before I can even get enough stuff out to fight them. Took some grinding to get money for upgrades to make it a cakewalk.
Great game otherwise, 4/5!

Physics Lab stacks on it's self ^_^ so, Physics Lab x2 + Annihilator = Win, add on a Beam Halo for more win :D But for rape, use Physics Lab x2 + Super Carrier + Annihilator = Rape ^_^ so much sweet sweet rape

The final level is a hudge deception for me.. It were realy easier than all the other deffense, or the surround level.. This ship with 4 nuker is realy hudge but that not enough I think ^^. Anyway realy great game , 5/5 ;D

Another easy way to complete final level:
Build a starport with super carriers. Then build a lab.
Get few small generators, then spam labs (their effects stack).
Enjoy easy victory. Carriers will stomp enemy staying completely undamaged.

i'm stuck on level 24. it would be nice to receive a percentage of credits based on kills. without upgrades i can't progress any further. this is after hours of play. i love the game, but the incentive to play is waning quickly. thanks.

If I infest enemy units, my own units still shoot the newly converted units, and so does the enemy. I also freeze those units before/after they're converted; it might be part of the cause if this is a bug.

Defense maps late game need a difficulty boost. Once you get one phys lab down its over for the baddies. They can't compete with the super spawning.

Good game but I can't get very far because my energy stops producing even if I have a main base and reactors! Would like it if this problem was fixed.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Just want to point out... if you have a constructor, and lose main base.. you can keep building... and that quality > quantity.. because I have often had too many small ships, so that the explosions of them causes them all to die, so...

WHat about a button for speed? like 0.5x speed in the start, where you might need time to see where the enemy is on the map and making the defenses ready. then maybe 2.0x speed when you want to finish faster?

Alright. I give up. How the f*ck do you beat the damn infections. I have the reduce infection rate upgrade, and still they blow me out of the water.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Towards the end of the game, using miner drones instead of the reactors makes the game almost too trivial... they cannibalise the map in seconds and leave you with thousands of units of energy to spend on the massive ships. Then you have a constant source of offence and also huge energy reserves. Use with the upgrade that reduces ship build time and have a look.

Was drunk so I tried it again. Got lucky this time, no obnoxious levels with my base directly in front of a sun. You only really need 2 upgrades: faster ship production and more energy. Quick way to win the last level: Build an Annihilator right at the start. Add a repair turret once you got money just to be save, then proceed to spam phys labs until you have won. Add some miners if you get bored of waiting, nothing else needed.

Having noticed that the levels generate every time, I'll give you some better advice. The final level should never be a defense mission. I literally had to make ONE building to win. Hard code the final fight, if you haven't already, and make sure "84" difficulty levels are never tougher than the "100-200" difficulty levels. At the moment, those difficulty gauges are not at all accurate.

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but I think you mislabeled the boss battle. The hardest fight is on the other side of the map involving fast building suicide bombers. In fact, a good deal of these levels are tougher than the designated "final" fight, without any extra goodies being given to you for completing them. =\

great funny game, but the targeting realy pisses me of... 1500 for a titan canon whats it gona do? turn left i might hit that fighter * bam* fighter down, makes a 180 turn * bam* one more fighter down, o the blaster next to it destroyd the titan canon.... grrrrrr..... focus the buildings man...

Can't see where to build on maps with a sun as the background! Also, it would be nice to see all the areas where I can construct something, when placing a structure.

I feel it would be quite convenient if the upgrades were set in an increasing order of cost, or perhaps you could set the order of your choosing, eg. Upgrade type, cost, alphabetical order, etc. I know that the upgrades have some form of order already, but I feel this would be beneficial to many players, especially ones who wish to see which upgrades they can buy earlier on.

In the defense levels the enemy ships come in waves. This means if you leave one ship alive at the start you can build multiple reactors and store up enough energy to make the remaining waves a cinch. (With the infectors you can allow them to take over one building such as a mining turret - then you can spam spaceports until you're happy your forces are unstoppable :D)

Tactical tips. I won most of the ostensibly hard levels by Zergling rushing from the getgo with Gunships of Light Carriers. The final level is a breeze with 6 Light Carrier bases unleashing a swarm of small fighters. Put some barriers up and Zergling rush.

Not a bad game but there are several issues that, if resolved, could make it a lot better.
1. Targetting. There is no use having a large fleet if it gets entirely distracted by the smallest of enemy ships. We can't control the targetting and this has disastrous consequences tactically.
2. Consistency. Barriers absorb shots but apparently exploding enemy ships can just bomb through and wreak havoc on the base.
3. I don't know whether this is fixable but I missed most of the action in the game due to constantly being busy micro-managing my base to victory.

Easy mode win: (works best from after you beat a few levels)
Ships: Interceptor, Miner, **Ship of your choice**
Upgrades: Ship Weapons, Missiles, Beams (Then everything relating to the ships + Structure regen). No upgrades to turrets.
Strategy: -With this method turrets are not necessary-
Build a Reactor, spam Interceptor (quick win with Duels and Skirmish). To win defense, build interceptors + miner (priority on miners)
Now you will be getting loads of energy - build a capital ship of your choice and sit back and watch the massacre.
Final Mission **spoilers**
For me it was a defense mission with the last two Capital ships. Use the miners for energy and build the exact two ships for yourself. You spawn them faster than they appear ^_^

Once you have the "miner " unit, just spam these baby's.
They give you an enormous energy boost. if you have the psysics lab also, they are accumulative, before you know it, the screen is filled with your units!

a few tips: 1. remember to pause and build the moment the level starts. I only noticed i could build while paused while i was doing 70 difficulty missions. 2. in close-spawn missions, getting 1-2 missile racks (the 2x2 ones), 2 beam cannons and 2-3 repair stations can pretty much blow up half of his base due to the missile splash. 3. If all else fails, immediately go for 2 tank ships or a super carrier (depending on amount of starting credits). That's how i won the final mission for example :)

Why does the enemy get an awesome base with its own shield and four guns and I get the choice of one base which doesn't have so much as a peashooter?!?!??!?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
For many of the "difficult" levels you can build a physics lab, and spam as many interceptors as you can. This often overruns the enemy before they have a chance to build up their base. (P.s: pause the game in the start when you build).

Obliterate everything... hmm... looks nice *clicks*.
Although I dont really see what this has to do with obliterating everything, its a pretty sweet game. Its nice and fast paced and the idea is excellent. I think maybe it could have a better description of what everything does at the start but its reasonably easy to figure out. A definite 5/5 and possibly going to add it to favorites.
