Under rating threshold (show) Repair Turret: "The main base is almost dead? Better finish this 99% barricade first and then that turret that's already full." The repair turrets need to prioritize on what to fix based on it's hp and how close it is to dying, not how close it is to the turret.

Under rating threshold (show) There are so many interesting races that you fight. The yellow people seem to have very powerful ships, the pink or blue prioritize voiding, and the white has entirely unique ships. It would be interesting if you could expand the game to include these races as playable, since you have already designed them.

Under rating threshold (show) Turrets you should favour: Double blaster (range is long enough to strike enemy base in some claustrophobic levels), repair (obviously), acid for large ships, rockets. Always wall your turrets in with barricades, possibly even before your base/stardock. If they last longer, then they can do more damage. Also always build at least one large generator right away, two if starting funds allow.

Under rating threshold (show) UI elements should be moved off the play area; they block construction. Also, I've noticed that some levels can go on forever; this usually happens when you have very high production rates, the enemy base is destroyed, and your ships start bouncing around the edge of the map doing... what?

Under rating threshold (show) I liked the game a lot, but the AI could be frustrating. 1) Why are ships/towers attacking the asteroids? 2) Turrets and ships need to do a better job choosing their targets. For example, the "big" guns should focus their fire on big ships and structures and not get distracted by piddly little ships.

Under rating threshold (show) TIP - The first upgrade you should get is the "Heavy industry" one. It makes it that the bays/docks produce ships way faster and significantly lowers the difficulty of the game. Combined with the Physics Lab (unlocked by beating the most bottom-right level), the production of ships goes through the roof. I like to spam Interceptors (from the Fighter Bay) on most levels, and Bombers on Heat Damage levels.

Under rating threshold (show) Towards the end of the game, using miner drones instead of the reactors makes the game almost too trivial... they cannibalise the map in seconds and leave you with thousands of units of energy to spend on the massive ships. Then you have a constant source of offence and also huge energy reserves. Use with the upgrade that reduces ship build time and have a look.

Under rating threshold (show) It's a fun game with a good soundtrack! Just two suggestions: 1.: Please make a sell/destroy button. It's frustrating to see that one misplaced turret prevents you from building a spaceport. 2.: A grid of the buildable area should be easy to implement and would be of great help. Thanks!

Under rating threshold (show) Anyone else see those HUGE ships in the Background of the ending text? Why are those not in the game? I think the Final Mission is far too easy and there's really no "final boss" just twin annihilators and those are easy to make. If those ships were in the final mission, and were immune to infestation and black hole shots(basically all instant kill effects). Then the Final mission would be a true challenge. But for now I think its a letdown compared to some "impossible missions" produced by the rarely flawed level builder. Please + this comment if you also think the final mission is too easy.

Under rating threshold (show) 6) Barricades are cheap, durable, and WILL block weapons fire of all types! 7) In Defense Missions, and any missions with the Green Infestation Opponents, focus on making lots of Fighter bays with Interceptors and Gunships, or otherwise Turtle with idea 4) ! 8) LEARN FROM YOUR OPPONENTS. If you take the time to let him build up the first time you try a mission, you can see his tactics that he uses should you try again! 9) PROTECT YOUR BASE CONSTRUCTION BUILDING. If this goes, NO MORE BUILDINGS CAN BE BUILT. 10) Finally, if Infested, Your Ships and Buildings will do EXACTLY what they were made to do to support the Enemy! Your Turrets will shoot you, your Ships will Infest you, your Repair turrets will heal Infested ships/buildings, and your Structures will keep building Infested Ships!

Under rating threshold (show) Some of the levels are outright unfair, either in your favor or aganst. Interceptor swarm is a very effective stategy. and in defense levels you can just build some repair turrets and wait for your power to generate, given it isn't defend aganst infest. for the final mission you can just build 1 annihilator cap yard and that will carry you. Final level is a pushover tbh Biggest complaint is just how wild the difficulty can be. the difficulty score on missions is often a complete lie. Good game but not flawless.

Under rating threshold (show) Take the word of the guy who played (And beaten!) this game a week before its release on the creator's site: 1) The Resist Infest, Shock Resist, Heavy Industry, Ship Regen, Structure Regen, and all Hangar upgrades are VITAL to this game! 2) Your fight is to out produce the other guy! Quantity beats quality, as the computer usually has a starting advantage over you! 3) PAUSE THE GAME! You can place structures and defenses this way, and look at the enemy's base! 4) Early on, outproducing the other AIs is vital to your success! Later on, around the 60s difficulty levels, make Reactors, Missile Turrets, Rocket Turrets, Autoguns (for anything that gets by your Rockets and Missiles, good for Infestor shots!), and Repair Turrets (Heal ALL status effects) 5) With the Rapid Repair upgrade, your Repair Turrets can even cure Infestation!

Under rating threshold (show) Sometimes when you have a lot of starting energy you can immediately pause, then build a constructor path to near the enemy base. Then, build 100 cost Autoguns and they will chew up the enemy base right quick. Sometimes a singularity can work to take out their construction center. This works REALLY well on the large station levels. I don't know why they start that close to you in those levels anyway. Also, stop talking about level locations guys... the levels are randomly generated.

Under rating threshold (show) This was fun in a lot of ways, but there were too many degenerate strategies that worked way too well for me to feel like this was a strategy game. Simply mass-producing interceptors worked for the vast majority of the levels. For one or two duels, the easiest thing to do was to pause, make a constructor closer to the enemy, then make a singularity gun that would destroy their only constructor immediately. In any level where you have some time before the first attack and a lot of beginning credits, making one of the big carriers guaranteed victory - they are just overpowered if you have a bit of time, since you are making ships that make ships. This made the last level trivial.

Under rating threshold (show) For anybody having difficulty with this game, a single light carrier stardock can carry you through the entire match. I have had matches where enemy swarms destroyed my command 30 seconds in, but a surviving stardock pumped out absurd numbers of carriers and tiny fighters and eventually won me the match.

Under rating threshold (show) I enjoy the game but I can see room for a few changes to make the game more enjoyable. First, after you have built one of the shipyards being able to change the type of ship being built would be nice. This might also be a good idea for the turrets as well? Second, being able to see the build grid would be very nice Third, having the map larger then the build area would allow us to make full use of the build space. When we start close to an edge I find that the controls prevent me from using all of the build space

Under rating threshold (show) ok, here is a very easy strategy for the last mission: it's a defense map wich means the enemy ships will spawn in waves wich means if you don't destroy the first very easy wave there won't spawn more.So just build reactors and defend them with barricades. The enemy ships can't destroy your barricades and you simply can get as many energy as you want.

Under rating threshold (show) The trick for defeating the infection stages is to use shields(which prevent infection), barriers(which are immune to infection), and a variety of guns such as the autocannons which can shoot missiles and bullets, keeping the infection from getting to you. Then, you'll want to use weak ships so they will die almost as fast as they can get infected, while also soaking up the infested projectiles, with some long range ships to carry the fight to the enemy. If you have them available, ships with beam weaponry are best because the beams can't transmit the infection, unlike missiles and bullets. Thus, whenever your ships get taken over they don't spread they don't infect more.
