just want to say this is a very nice game. now onto the questions, yes the kickers at the bottom feel retarded. they dont follow the typical trajectory that most physics would think. and the ball bounces off the kickers at a constant speed every time regardless of how fast it entered the kicker. regards to the physics feeling off, i think the main part is that the ball somehow gains full momentum everytime it hits a monster which should be adjusted to how fast the ball enters the collision. i think ball direction should be more free flowing, right now it's hard to judge where a ball will land because everything it touches has a good amount of influence in where it goes. esp monsters since they contribute to an increase in momentum

ooh - pinball and achievements - two of my favorite things! Love the quests, found it was easier to control things with one hand on 'A' and one hand on the right arrow rather than controlling both flippers with one hand. My only nitpick was that on the last level, the ball seemed a bit sluggish compared to earlier levels, like it was moving through water or something.

I found a fault that when your shooting the ball into the playing field sometimes at a certain power you shoot the ball it goes out of bounds and you lose a live and also this game is just a satanic version of pinball

Cool game great potential. Really needs a little more rpg aspect. Awesome idea though. Maybe leveling up ball or something? Or larger tables?

so i started playing this game thinking it was a repetitive pinball game, i never thought i would be drawn in to such a simple game, excellent game

Seems VERY much like a old space pinball game on the computer, except that it wasnt on a side, a GOOD game though, i like it :D

I love pinball and this version is really good, but not great. Physics seem a little off in general, some basic instructions before starting a level would be nice (i.e. how many points you need to unlock the next level and to get an extra ball), and it doesn't feel like an official pinball game without some kind of tilt featue. Also, can you get an extra ball? I've broken 2 and 3 million a couple of times but haven't seen anything come up. A little annoying given how the physics don't always work the way they should or when the ball just falls straight down the middle and you can't reach with your flippers (granted it happens but then that's why you get extra balls to use). Except for those few complaints I think it's good though; really love the "bounties," a little repetitive and annoying when it's the same one 3 times in a row (like "spawn a mini-boss or boss") but still fun.

it said after boss i hadn't killed boss, and i was down to my last life on when i fought what i thought was the frog king XD. this game is awsome!!! 5/5 greg has got to give badges to this game, Quick RATE 5 PEOPLE RATE 5!!!

all i ask for is a tilt action. i've racked up over 300 million on an old macintosh pinball simulator, because i use the tilt in my strategy.

I like this game. The only quibbles I have are this: I would like to see optional flipper controls set on the same key row and as far apart as possible, it would make it more like a real pinball game. Also, the flippers and kickers seem a little less crisp than they could be. All in all, you guys made a great game. Looking forward to a sequel.

Is there a way you can make it where i can change the controls to whatever I want? Because my arrow keys don't always work (which made me lose quite a bit of balls T-T) and the WSAD keys just feels off for a pinball game for me.

The kickers are just plain wrong. Take a look at the behaviour of the kickers on a real table, and see the the kicker face is straight, it does not curve at the end and push the ball down the chute when it fires. Also the kickers in this game do not fire the ball back at a realistic angle. Sometimes the ball fires away from the kicker as it should (like light reflected from a mirror), sometimes they fire the ball straight upwards, which is obviously wrong.

The first three levels are too easy and the last is to hard. Twice in a row, and yes i launched differently, it instantly shoved me down and lost 2 lives

I thought of a couple things that seemed off about the physics to me. First of all, the bumpers only bounce upwards in one direction. Instead, the bumper should redirect the forces of the ball in different directions depending on where the ball hits the bumper. Another thing is that most of the collisions/animations are happening to slowly, especially the bumpers and flippers. Lastly, something that many people have noted is that the ball tends to "float". An Increase of gravity would help.

The ball does not react as it should do, when it hits bumpers it goes almost vertically upwards and when it hits a wall it just immediately comes to a rest and starts rolling down it instead of bouncing off, it shouldn't be possible to go back up the plunger route as I've managed twice now, and for some reason the ball seems to be sucked towards stuff which makes the game slightly boring.

Most of this game is great. A lot of potential here for sequels. I agree with the comments about the physics though. Sometimes the flippers seem to hit the ball somewhere where they probably shouldn't be able to reach, and the kickers at the bottom seem to give too much of an upward boost, and not enough horizontal. 4/5 from me because of the physics issues and the tables are a bit basic.

lol win. the moment the necromancer spawned my pinball was at an angle to the head where it could constantly bounce on top of the necromancer. so it basically died when it spawned :D

Where the physics feel most off to me is that the angled bumpers above the flippers bump straight up instead of at an angle. No pinball machine does that. Also: every mid-field object, and there are a lot of them, make the ball shoot upward as well. This doesn't look right as the objects don't otherwise seem solid.

The flippers feel kinda weak to me. I was expecting something a bit more adventurey and colorful, this felt like DOOM Pinball to me. Oh well, it's still a great game in a sorely lacking flash genre.

Most frustrating part is when you press the flipper button and it flips 1.5 seconds later. Your ball passes right over the flipper and goes down the drain.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
On occasion, when the ball is shot out by the plunger, it goes directly between the flippers or behind them. Next time probably rethink where you position everything.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
if it were to be in space then the pinball wouldn't go down by itself although if it were to be flat then it could be possible
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
(In response to "How do the physics feel off") The flippers feel weak and the ball often does not ricochet at a realistic angle (hitting a wall dead on and going sideways).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Fun! In terms of physics I feel that gravity is quite low, but the ball will sometimes accelerate and decelerate very rapidly when hitting monsters etc. Also the bumpers (or whatever they are called) above the flippers appear to bounce the ball much more "up" than it looks like they should. I found the music extremely repetitive, if using such a short loops maybe change it between levels and menu screens etc. Good job overall :)
