There comes a point when the reward of finally finishing the game is NOT worth the half-hour spent on the second half of the last level.

Major problem with this game is the controls. You push to get moving, then jump and next thing you know you are non-stop jumping (like the keys are sticking). Or you are moving forward, let go of the keys (or even push backwards) and you sre still going forward and picking up speed. Then when you do get to stop pushing forward doesn't move you. I end up having to tap the keys repeatedly to "unstick" them. Doesn't matter if you use WASD, the Arrows, or the Number Pad. This would be an okay game if not for that. You end up with 12 + deaths that could have been avoided had the game not "thought you were jumping" or "thought you were moving forward" etc. . .

So sloppy controls, pixel-perfect platforming and otherwise identical objects killing you or being the only safe place depending entirely on whim? Terrible.

Wow really annoying when I die and he comes back still peddling forward and jumping without me touching anything, they need to stop putting games that glitch like this up. It just pisses people off, fix the bugs in your game before uploading that crap.

The fact that the character continues to complete the action he was doing before death...Jumping or moving forward....Makes it incredibly hard to complete certin levels.

i hate how u cant just reset a certain part -.- u gotta start the whole game over agh just cuz of that 1 part, u die 15+ times

Great game. Guys who a talking about "consistency", about saving and checkpoints in a small 5-minute game (where even the hardest badge is extremely easy) are ridiculous.

OMG! That must be one of the worst games I ever played! Sadly, there is no negative vote on Kong... a 1/5 is still too much praise for such a trainwreck of a game.

This game is a good education material for game design. It breaks pretty much every rule of "fairness" in platformers -
1) Traps which are impossible to avoid unless you know in advance no matter how good is your reflex and skills
2) Inconsistency - some objects kills you, others that look just the same don't. In areas 7 and 8 there is no way to tell if the hole you are jumping in will blow you up or not - there's like zero consistency there basically.
I could go on, but this game is just the kind that pisses everyone off.

Dang, that was pretty close (240 bubles; 8 deaths; 7 mins, 17 secs = 22,763 points). 1 less buble and I will need to start all over again.
Bye bye Icycle mwahahahahaha!

@akillatehnun: I believe it was their intention, because the first time I tried to go backwards the guy said, "I can't backpedal, so I'll have to remember the right directions." Not an exact quote, but something along those lines.

Everything about this game is just arbitrarily bad. Not being able to move backward, even under the effect of gravity, is a lazy game mechanic. Having invisible checkpoints placed at the inscrutable whim of the author, without being able to return to before a checkpoint, makes collecting all the bubbles unnecessarily difficult. Even which obstacles kill you on contact is arbitrary. In location 7, visually identical crystals of floor and ceiling close in diagonally; the ceiling ones kill you even if you land on top of them, whereas you can be crushed underneath the floor without dying. In location 8, you ride across a bridge of spikes that would kill you anywhere else. By fashioning its entire experience around precisely memorizing arbitrary strategies with degenerate controls, this game distills decades of bad game design into a product of pure malice. This is the E.T. of Flash games. It didn't even give me a scarf on my second playthrough for the hard badge. 1/5.

Too much of having to build up speed and slow down to make rthe "can't backpedal" part any kind of fun in a game, really annoyin game when all comes to all.

A naked man on a bike chases bubbles in an icy wasteland. Is this supposed to be a metaphor for sex or dating?
For whimsy and style, this game gets points, but it seriously loses them through gameplay flaws.
