These minigames are very displeasing. The fact that it doesn't matter about stats ortime spent on the book, purely based on the minigames, is rediculous. Also, why is this in the idle section if I can't actually idle?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yeah, I have no idea how performance correlates to anything. My one book does amazingly well, I get the same combination during the same audience preferences and do about the same on the same minigame, and I'm several points lower for no adequately explained reason. You shouldn't feel unsure why you're getting the results you are in a game.

book 1 50 words. ok
book 2 150. ...ok
book 10 1.465k. ......what? I still have not even been able to upgrade my pen to 2 points. so clearly use an auto clicker in this one or don't paly if you don't have one or it will cause you damage.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I get it haha. You want to punish people that use autoclicker. Got it in a few books. So let me see withoung using it... Still bad(not as bad). I love the idea of this game and would like to see it developed further.
First: remove minigames
Second: Fan mechanic must be looked into, it could be people that always buy you book or donate to you as a passive way to get money.
Third: Overall balancing is really dull.
Fourth: Give me time, when I finish a book I don't want to immediatly start writing another.
*You must choose if your focus will be on the idling or the clicking, I personally prefer idling, for which I use the auto clicker to "skip" boring parts and avoid damaging/reducing life of my mouse...
I'm giving it a 2/5 as of now but it has potential for greatness.

definitely needs to have an easier start, and a much slower increase in words per book. it gets silly. would rather have to type random words than click, fits the theme better. could be a good learn to type / learn new words game. missed opportunity there

book number 58...200 million words...aprox 400,000 pages...should cost over 4 million just to print...kinda silly but my favorite part is how the trained monkey writes better than my younger brother, my mom, and an intern. monkey genius. 5/5 would rewrite all of human knowledge into a single book again

This game is too slow to start. I'm on book 11 and I have so far made an entire $32. The last book gave me just 1 dollar.

68 books? 1 fan, despite making millions on sales. 69th book? 28 million fans. I think that aspect is a little broken...

Ways to improve:
1. GET RID OF MINIGAMES!
2. Further lower scaling/or have custom page sets
3. Have upgrades for clicker items (Typewriter as upgrade to Pen)
4. Make Idling tools less expensive.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's not a true Idle game unless there's a auto-publish-skip-the-minigame feature that can be unlocked. Or at least allow me to continue accruing words while it's waiting for me to come back.

Selling 2k+ books and not earning a single fan. I only have 1 fan total and it's probably myself because the books I'm writing are genius!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I have written a total of 5k words and my next book needs 196k so I might have done something wrong, it's gonna take a minute at 2 words per click.

all minigames should explain what to do... and you have floating point errors in the stats page! overall good concept, so-so execution.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Doesnt get any followers. Only the forst few books gave me maybe 5 in total, which dropped down to 1 very fast, and after that, not even a book selling thousands gives even 1 more fan. Im stuck at 1...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
When you get the first pop up about how your first book is going to come out, you spelled "affect" as "afect". In a writing game. Sorry, that cracked me up xD

Really love the concept of this game. Only thing is, it really is hard to earn money. Words scale up waaaaaay too fast. And I keep getting 'Click as fast as you can' minigame, which gives me $2-3 each time. Now my book requires 1.16k words, and I'm writing with 7 words per click. Upgrades getting expensive, I have no money to buy. Books taking painfully long to complete, with too little rewards :( And what is the leveling for? Spent whatever bits of money on leveling to level 2, noticed nothing different. I am at a lost.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I am going to guess the mini games are to deter auto clickers but honestly it removes the idle part of this game if you have to be there at the end of each book.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's a really great idea, and it's not bad all things considered, the issue is the money. Only way to get it is to publish books, but the scaling (even brought down) is so large, that it's still hard to earn anything in the time it takes to actually publish it. Even with an autoclicker and upgrades it's just a bit too time consuming.
Also maybe another way to earn exp would be to write your own blog posts/edit/draft/whatever. Doesn't have to be much, but have it the same way you publish books. Instead of cash, you get exp.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Also, could be a nice feature if you got exp in each genre you wrote, so the more you wrote a genre, the better you would become in that genre.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I like the design of the game alot, but it need some work, like the whole picking a new genre every time becomes kinda annoying, maybe need some kind of option to just say it to pick a random genre and title, if that is what you want as a player, because 10 minutes in and it's already too much, but the game have alot of potential, so keep it up.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Seems like the minigames arent balanced, the click as fast as possible will never yield positive fan results no matter the speed, tried everything from waiting a couple of minutes to using an autoclicker - whereas the minigame where you need to click a circle getting smaller almost always yields positive fan result
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Could EXP be tied to book publishing rather than a bought item? Maybe a formula like 1/ #of books old * fans gained? It's really hard to gain money in this game and it feels like having two different money pits is not needed.
