1.) Pick Virus. 2) Start in Canada, New Zealand, Cuba, Greenland, West Europe, or Madagascar. If you do not get there restart. 3) Sell the starting symptoms, and buy sneezing (unless it is what you started with, just keep it). 4) Buy 1-1-1-0 resistances but no transmissions (they trigger closures). 5) Once four countries are infected, sell sneezing to get rid of visibility. 6) Wait until all countries are infected. If Madagascar closes its shipyards/borders or is not infected in 30 days, restart. 7) Buy all four drug resistances AND sneezing, coughing, and vomiting. 8) After a few days, unlock tiers 2-3, (do not buy tier 4 ever!) keeping whatever symptoms it gives you. 9) Buy fever, fatigue, diarrhea, pulmonary edema, and hypersensitivity. The reasons this game is so damn annoying!!! 1. Madagascar. 2. Little ships in the ocean when all the harbors are closed. 3. Closed borders, airports, harbors, etc. 4. Paranoid presidents. 5. Not infecting a country when a plane or boat enters it. Anymore ideas?

madagascar has some serious issues! :O they must have disease whisperers. "president madagascar...im sensing a presence that doesn't hurt us at all!" president: "well then, psycho lady, i must panic now. WERE ALL GONNA DIE!!!!"

I've been watching Madagascar, and from what I've gathered, Madagascar sends ships to West Europe and South Africa, and South Africa sends ships to Madagascar. The only way to infect Madagascar is to start there or either start in South Africa or quickly infect it.

I just love how Canda keeps all borders open when 3/4 of the humans there are infected. And when USA closes all borders and such when they have less than 100 people infected :D

People we have a problem. It seems as though there is a virus which is invisible, has no symptoms and is harmless. "Everyone runs around screaming" Close the borders. Kill the rats. That's my summary of the "REALISTIC" mode of pandemic 2.

Why does Madagascar never get infected :( trying again for about the 30th time today D: 4/5! Great game, but I'm not a huge fan of luck; one time a vaccine was created and finished before I could even leave the first infected area, plus there should be a simple restart button instead of going back to the main menu.

Every time i play this game i infect the harder places after constant restarting but there is always an easy country to infect i haven't infected. frustrating game but i love it :)

I started in Madagasgar. Felt so lucky. But even with no symptoms, Argentina, the only place i still needed to infect, closed its borders. -_-
