I'm curious if i am missing something...previously when one of my heroes reached a capped level they had to consume another (and then multiple) heroes...Now i have another hero (lvl 49) which is capped and now need 3 legendary heroes to evolve...this didn't happen to my other Level 49 hero so why the change now or am i just missing something?

Good news: after the 12/8/14 update, my barracks are allowing me to hire the full amount of ppl now once I upgraded it one time (it was previously saying it was full even though it showed I had the new/extra space). So, just upgrade the barracks! :D

Thunder, thx for explaining the orange diamond buff was a +1 to each of the hero's 3 stats! Also, I had the same barracks issue after the upgrade and submitted a bug report. I also upgraded my barracks to see if that would correct it, tho I have 9.5 hrs left to wait. Will update :)
As for the +1 honor point only on pvp, it seems to me like it gives larger amts of honor pts if it is a person/player I've never faced before, regardless of their strength? Rather than beating a stronger player I've previously beaten? So, the more new challengers, the more honor pts maybe? But yeah, dropping 100 pts after a tough loss hurts :(

You need to use Kred Units to upgrade Kred only units. The ways to get these units require a terrible amount of time, and you can only store energy for up to one hour before you cap. The combat is fun, and so is acquiring new items, but the pay wall is complete and total BS. Until a way to get better units purely through gold comes out, 2/5 stars.

Barracks says it has 18/20 space because of the new update, but when I try to hire a new hero I get a "Barracks is full" message.
I did have a full barracks before the update, and assume that if I get rid of a hero or upgrade it will fix itself, but I cannot do either anytime soon.

What is the little orange "diamond-looking" buff/stat? Some equipment grants a +1 or +3 buff to the line that draws a diamond essentially, but I'm not sure what that does...? The equip didn't explain it either.

Why is it that beating a weak team gives +30 honor points, beating a strong team gives +1 honor point, losing to a weak team takes -1 honor, and finally losing to a strong team gives -100? This seems awfully backwards.

Indeed carefully read all comments before to spend your first kred on this game. I think you should not.
Now my main heroe was a gladiator. Quite convenient, only one any kind heroe to sacrify. But he just capped level 29. And I am asked THREE gladiators for sacrifice. Are they all heroe type like this once level 29 is reached ? Am I supposed to have ~ 100 seats in my barrack to have a chance for my main team to evolve ?

The training grounds is pretty much pointless. You have to come back within 2 or 6 hours and if they are in there too long, they overtrain and they get no XP and you wasted all that money. Get rid of that "overtraining" nonsense. This is not a phone app. People aren't going to come back (or be able to come back) in 2 or 6 hours.

Really wish you would put a confirmation button before spending gems. Just spent a bunch to upgrade a building with an accidental click. Very frustrating to be out of so much so quickly without even so much as a "are you sure you'd like to waste your hard earned efforts on this?"

Was good with potential for great. Then Campaign difficulty ramped way up so it's pay to proceed. Energy system went unchanged at the same time the price increased to get lesser heroes. More and more bait and switch money grabs. Give it a pass.

It's not just that champion price packs are increased in price.. The actual rewards are actually less now too. I opened two 6 packs and didn't get any legendaries. They have also lowered the drop rates..

Champion pack price much higher, to only get 3-stars heroes now. Your choice. Mine is not to spend a single more kred.

Update, great. Campaigns give lower rewards and have easier enemies (rewards are lowered more than the difficulty is imho). So far so good. But... raising the champion pack price by a third? Stopped considering coining. Still not giving up on the game, though...

have been playing for a while now and was on the fence about buying gems, thought it was a bit high price tag per hero/gem but enjoyed the game enough to break down and buy some today. and i believe in game creators making money is fine. but went in to actually buy and then see they increased the price of hero packs well guess they scared away casual/moderate spenders like me anyway.

It does not make sense to have a female only event??? You have as far as I can tell thus far only 3-4 female types whereas you have 10-15 male types. Percentages would say that you might have 1-2 strong females at the most with 3-4 strong males. If the odds of a female were equal to getting a male maybe but not the way it is now.

What the heck? I'm a couple away from getting to 60 and the event changes genders? Boo. First event it is bugged to get epic from event and this event you change who I can use midway through? Arg.

Why did the event change mid stream to now a female only. I was at 89 before that happened. I also did not get the Epic reward and the 200 was not just a visual it actually only gave me 200.

During the latest special quest line, the 2000 coins only gave 200 and the Epic Hero was a total no-show. I think the rewards might be a little bugged.

i reacher 60 victory in the event but i didn't get the epic hero reward... the shrine open and nothing come out except "continue" button..... (the barack wasnt full)
This issue will be resolved within 24hs. Thank you for reporting! We´ll be looking for a way to make this up for players who experienced this difficulty.

More suggestions:
* If you use gems to buy heroes or gear, give the player a choice of three different types to choose from.
* Create special mini campaigns for people who buy gems, regardless of what amount of gems you buy. That might get more people to buy gems.
* Allow people to upgrade gear types by sacrificing other gear types at the alter.

Suggestions:
* Heroes should be able to have one of each gear type: weapon, armor, shield, helm and ring.
* Double the amount of red energy you get, or make the max number increase as you level up or when you finish a campaign.
* Make it so at the end of a campaign battle, there is a chance to get a spell component. Combining certain components produce useful potions. Don't say what components are used to make what. Have people experiment. Common potions need 2 components; rare ones need 3 components.
* It's frustrating trying to get a character type to level up a hero that has been capped. I recommend just upping the cost to evolve them instead of sacrificing.

Though I can get over the grueling energy system, something that's really getting old is the evolve mechanic. Starting at level 9, you are required to find a duplicate of a hero to sacrifice in order to progress the hero to 10, two duplicates at level 19, three at 29, and so on. Having to dump a massive amount of currency for packs that each give the possibility of a random hero out of an ever increasing pool of heroes becomes frustrating to say the least. It serves only to artificially and unimaginatively extend the game. Until mechanics like this are changed, I am forced to give an otherwise enjoyable game a one star rating and warn away others from wasting their time on it.

several things
1. the stamina system as many said is very stupid
2. FIX RANGE ATTACKS!!!....I watched an ogre....very slowly walk towards my mage even though he had a sliver of health I watched as every single mages fireball passed right through his stomach somehow missing him completely
3. sometimes melee characters just stand there....not attacking....the battle system is so broken it seems more 75% luck and 24% party composition and 1% skill
4. balance balance and more balance AOE stuns are king....you suddenly stun half their team and they all die before they can even get up...stuns last way to long and are basically game over messages
5. whats the point of a tank character if they have no way to generate aggro of mobs....great my paladin has 0 monsters attacking him while my mage and glass cannons get destroyed instantly
7. no point in not having a full stun team

I can't say that I look forward to your future endeavores with this because I rarely see something good done when something like that is said, but i will keep watch. if i see some actual balance put in. I wouldn;t have as much hesitation on spending. in short if you want someone like me that doesn't have a problem putting money into a game, just fix the balance please thats the biggest concern out of any. I would like to see a game that actually shows some potential not get wrecked because either the developer is greedy and doesn;t want to fix the problem or try to have a few cash dumpsters try to bull horn the game into staying reserved for cash dumpsters/p2w. like i said energy system idc and idk why most of the people complain about it. anyways ill be watching, whethrer i stay and contribute great amount of support is up to you.

pleace be better to fixing arena quest rewards the last arena quest had a epic gift, but i dint get a epic, i dont thing anyone did when i got the reward is was black. and now this! I fight my way to Excellent item (the 45 wins) and the reward was a Crude armor

my point is the game is severely limited and is more or loess reserved for cash dumpster type deal. free/casual cashers are pretty much disadvantaged and still not by a little margin it's almost heaven and earth margin

in any case im not bashing your game it has some good aspects. you; however limit it severally in many aspects. I can deal with energy system because i can go to work when i use my energy or another just play another game until i have full bars again.

diablo was nice before they implemented pay to get the best gear bs. if anything i would pay for at this point would be WOW as they have earned seeing as they have tried to keep a good balance between players. except int he past when they favored classes. anyways make it to where i cna be more competitive in a more fair setting being a free/casual casher. then I'll change my review. its never good when you mess with a gamers experience as far as gameplay aspects.

sadly ive reached a point where 2 star heros are not enough even at lvl 20 im vsing people with 3 and 4 star heros at or above my lvl clearly these spots are cash reserved which really limits competition in which you need to keep a game thriving. free players only get one chance if that if they save up the gems from achievements and masteries to try and get a one 4 star. which still canoot take on a team full of 3-4 stars x.x unlesss there is something to balance is ovrwhelming advantage free players/ casual cashers if your not willing to spend a decent amount of cash your not getting very far. my rating is 2/5 because its cash reserved, p2w etc. many ways you can gain money and still make it playable for both ends.

not sure if anyone else has had this happen, but sometimes your own minion goes a bit nuts and starts attacking your own fighters. This seems to activate mostly in the presence of wraiths. Might be related to the bouncing effect of the wraiths attacks mucking up targeting (I think it seems to happen more with valkyries deflection being present as well)

@aslan, that's not true. You can get 3+ star units for free. I have two and haven't invested money(yet). First, you can get them as a mission or quest reward. Also, you can get them with the free crystals the developer throws at you.
