Delos, chill man. As the developer could you not at least investigate players concerns and problems rather than just saying they don't happen. Glitches occasionally happen, not everyone is trying to exploit the system and sometimes things don't work out quite the way they are programmed. I am not denying that there are hackers out there. But I don't think that every person with a problem is a hacker. Is it too much to investigate whether superdupercat's problem was legitimate. Maybe PM him to find out what items he lost and then check and make sure that he was of the appropriate CT to obtain those objects. Then, if you decide to give it to him, check to make sure he does not pawn those objects, and if he does then take whatever action you deem appropriate.

People will come to dislike you(and by association your game). I guess something IRL happened that pissed you off(but I ofc don't know). God delosford. I just was asking a genuine question about getting clout from playing against a bill. The game must have been just a little slow for one day, cause I didn't see an obvious jump in clout considering the amount of capital I invested until a few days later. Get a grip on it man; not all of your players are saboteurs.

Public ownership is very different from state ownership. In state ownership, the legitimate government of the country controls it. In public ownership, it is not really "owned" at all in the sense we understand it. Air is (or at least used to be) an excellent example of a publicly owned good. Everybody is entitled to a free supply of it, and it does not lie under control of the state.

What is the difference between public ownership and state ownership? Public ownership just seems like a nicer way of saying "state owned and operated for the 'well being' of the greater public." I've always heard Socialism was a mixture of Capitalism and Communism; it is Capitalist in the sense that you still get wages and can buy your own things, but makes heavy use of Communistic policies and has Communist tendencies (like state ownership of factories for the "common good").

I feel that you switched Communism with Socialism in that description. Though I guess in theory Communism is where the workers own the means of production, in practice the state does.

There should honestly be a more convenient way to apply for the Lobby, since the "Become A Lobbyist" button doesn't work.
I also wouldn't mind becoming a lobbyist myself, given that my career as a congressperson has met yet another unfortunate end.

well, I'm not blocked now, but 6 hours ago, after you said "I fixed the problem for you! Check the Announcements!", I still had trouble in an area where kong is blocked. It's not a huge issue, but if it were fixed, it would be nice. I understand you're trying pretty hard and again, it's not a big deal.

I figured the cloutserver was intentional, and am now permanently playing on Kong. I really like the game and am not trying to sabotage it. I just want to be able to play clout at work.

zbarancik1, I really advise that you play the game as it's intended to be played. The dev has been stalked recently, and trying to do something weird with the game is going to convince the dev that you're up to no good.

anyway, to get back to my original complaint, It now must be in an unblocked area, whereas before, if you already had the tab open in either this "cloutserver" or Kong, it would work.

well, it isn't working on there, so I'm on Kong for a moment, which is sad as the "cloutserver" is almost trice as fast to load.
What exactly are you doing to circumvent Kongregate? I think a lot of people are or were doing that and you probably weren't connecting to the actual game.

Actually, I wasn't playing on kong. Oops.I was playing on the screen that appears when you open up clout in a new tab, which bypasses kongregate and is a long address with the word "cloutserver" in it. Anyway, my complaint still appears to be valid.

Yeah as of right now I still can't play, it still just bounces me out to the Kongregate Homepage whenever I try to select "become a Lobbyist".

I don't get it, is the game down right now or something? when I go to the game, a screen comes up saying I lost an election with the choice to either retire or become a Lobbyist, when I click "become a lobbyist" it sends me right out to the Kongregate homepage. What am I doing wrong here? I think I might be even dumber than Sallier.
Nah. You just cant actually get to The Lobby right now unless you're a member of the playtesting group. If you'd like, I can have Kongregate add your name to the list. But you'll have to hold off on rerolling for now. It'll take a day or two for them to add you most likely.
