I tried to make a character and it just says "Hacking the game is bad, mmmkay?" Hilarious reference but I swear I'm just trying to play the game and not cheat x.x

There should be a relic tier item that increases the energy cap by a minuscule amount, like one of those awesome hat things that you can drink sodas from.
It's actually very playable as a casual game, as you may have inferred from the people complaining they ran out of things to do too fast. They of course didn't realize that drugs delineate casual and more active play on bills, but hey, they're new.

A vote tax is a way of taxing if you vote, like if you want to vote you have to pay a fee. This was done post slavery as a way to prevent blacks from voting.

There were no crashes. There were only internet connectivity problems. The only thing that message has to do with is you double-clicking the character create button, which means you tried to create a character that was already created, which looks like hacking to the server. Don't submit forms multiple times and expect webapps to do what you want. -Seems like an impatient response. Maybe attempting to respond to every comment is making you impatient. Either way, it was an honest mistake with a sarcastic response, don't care much for the game now.

I notice that you gain no clout if a bill you introduce gets passed before you get a chance to use an ability for it...

Full screen mode? my game keeps cutting some of the words and buttons off, or I have to use the outside and in-game slider t see certain things and its rather tedious

...until you get investigated, scandalized and lose the next election. Hence why you'll need to get into managing your constituent support with public appearance offers, coverups, advertising, and other things. You're shielded from having to take care of a lot of the more complex aspects of the game until CT2, which can be achieved in a couple days in order to give you time to get a hang on the simple stuff. Feel free to read the extensive help files if you'd like to learn more about the more complex aspects of the game.

dunno what happened but somehow it had me buying two diamond earrings (sometimes my wireless mouse doubleclicks unintentionally) so I go and sell it in pawn show and got peanuts back...

Thanks man, I got it about 5 minutes after I posted. I just didnt know I had to introduce a new bill to continue the tutorial. Love it so far. One tip I have is to perhaps make investigations less time?

Made a character, then as sent to an all gray screen with "Hacking is bad, mmkay?" in black text. Nothing further. Loading issues? Does it have to do with the recent crashes in Kongregate?

Thanks for saying so! I don't really interact with the game much except to chat things. I used to play in the weakest party, but that hasn't really been necessary lately.

Did you by chance get rid of the suicide option? I cant see it anymore but I remember seeing something about once you reach a certain clout amount but i doubt it since im still clout level one...

Haven't heard of anyone quitting. It's very possible to fix the country still. I actually sent a message to all inactive players to come back and help show people how to CC properly.
