definitely needs a speed up button. maybe the devs have already fixed it, but i didn't have a problem (other than the speed) of this being a grindy game. a tip for people having trouble, end game is all about the monks (can't do only monks though obviously). being invincible for 1 entire round to get all your other abilities off cd is nice.

I guess I can only repeat what I have seen in existing comments. Game speed is a bit slow - and you hit a huge grind wall at lvl 19-21 where you just have to keep dieing to bosses to attempt to upgrade units.

Some people are complaining about the grind but I really didn't experience that. I usually beat the levels on the first try and rarely had to try a 3rd time. I think proper timing of the skills is key and the monks seem to be pretty OP in later levels (lots of damage and invulnerability, you can stall out 1 round with shield so your other spells recharge). I found that the key was to thin out the wave with spells right off the bat and spread your spells across each wave.

Front 6 column Axe Men, 16 Hunters, 8 Monks slots 4 and 5 to minimize damage taken. Artifacts should be ATK SPD 15%, ATK DAM 15% and HP +20. Holy Protection lasts much longer with 8 monks. Meat shields in front and high rate of ranged Dam equals very little grinding XDDDDD

Put some kind of game finished stages that you can farm to get the dream team, like 7 rounds so you really need a dream team to beat them.

DEV can you make the game even slower I think everything is happening so fast that I am on 3rd stage and almost feel asleep on 2nd stage... Are you F..king kidding me!!! Is this suppose to be a game or a turtle aka sleeping simulator?

So I've beaten the game... I'm still missing an artifact. I'll second everyone else here: The pace is very, very slow--both in-combat and overall. The former could be helped with a speed 1x/2x/3x button; the latter needs revision in terms of how easy it is to find loot, how much gold drops, and/or replacing keys with gold once you've unlocked all the slots. It's very grindy, and the slow rate of combat itself doesn't help. This is especially hard since there's no way to compare units you've ALREADY bought, and there's no third upgrade for some units, and there's no description of what the specials actually do. This game needs some stat screens. I'd like to give it a 4/5, but I'd be being generous.

Who could tell the most effective war strategy in existence was to have every single solder just climb on the head of their companions to attack the enemies who do the same.
No, definitely not pushing the one in the bottom. We have to climb our comrades and attack.

The game seems a bit unfinished. Why is there no end game, or at least some proper ending like a large boss? It also looks like there were supposed to be some more units to unlock; why is there a fire mage 3 but no exorcist 3 or bomber 3 for example? It would have been nice to have one of those larger units like the enemies do later on, too.
And I agree with the speed-up button ;)

Don't super scheme to pass a level if you fail it the first time. All of the chests on that level get nerfed after the first run. So its best to grind on levels you fail until you will win several in a row. That way each chest you win will have a chance at keys, spins, and artifacts. Play too strategically and you will make your grind worse.

if you use a units ability during its small death animation then the game glitches and freezes, the music keeps playing and the characters keep animating but they wont attack, nor will the enemy attack you.

On top of my last comment, the game also felt like you needed a well-rounded army. What if I wanted to clear out each section first and build an army specified to one region? Just a thought to have on your next iteration of the game.

I think the matrix restriction forced the player to use all the spaces available to him. It would have been interesting to setup different layouts (like 1 or 2 stacked warriors out front, and a buildup in the back), but it felt like the game required a full line of high HP in front to eat it all. I ask for more freedom in configuring my army.
