Wizard's shots hit harder than it says on their stat sheet. On paper, archers/hunters do the most ranged dps, but in reality it is wizards.

I just made a team of all archers, 3 monks and 3 axemen. I just walked through the game. If you find the artifact with increased attack speed, increase attack dmg and increase archer dmg....it's sooo frickin easy.

The game doesn't show what the top tiers are, so here you go:
Excorcist 2, Bomber 2, Monk, Axeman, Hunter, Fire Mage 3. Typically buying these is best use of your money (once you reach the stage that this becomes an option)

So I beat the game with only 6 artifacts and at least 12 team slots still locked. My fortune wheel landed on X 5 times. I feel like I barely completed the game.

When I beat the game I was missing 3 artifacts. I also didn't make enough gold to fully optimize my team. I don't like that. It makes me feel like I didn't finish the game. You need to add in a way for us to keep playing. New game + would be a great way to do that.

i hate when you only get 25 gold after failing a few times thats when you need gold the most but you get almost none and cant rebuild your team or experiment especially later on when things cost 500+

pretty good quickie; all those that complain about grinding- you dont need max everything/arts; the game is very easy and has potential to be very good; you want a speed up button just means you cant win with tier 2 units and just want to max everything- win the game and missing an artifact? complain jeez

Pretty easy, but a speed-up would have been nice. Not real need for grinding using the following row build:
1) All warriors,
2 & 3) 5 archers, 1 bomber,
4) All bomber,
5) 2 mages, 4 monks.
Items used: Defense, HP and Damage.

Had no issue with grinding until about mid-game, then it got really grindy. Also, disappointed that keys do nothing after you've unlocked all the positions (possibly give us gold?) Overall a very solid game if it were just a little longer and didn't require so grinding to advance quite as much. I give 5/5 just because I want to see this continue to develop and it's a great nearly complete product.

Ok, you tell me to click here and there, but don't give me a single clue about what the skill did. Information (for example tooltip with description) is way better than a mute tutorial

Very fun game for an afternoon, but seems to take a while to get through. A speed-up button would be nice. Keys should become Gold after all slots unlock. An endless level after beating the game would be nice for people who want to test out their awesome post-game deck.

One effective strategy is to have a fair number of monks, I had 9 for the final level. The 1st and 4th round you use the invincibility which with enough monks lasts the duration of the engagement.

Could do a randomly generated endless mode to help grinding cash early but you certainly could use a fast forward button.

Cost to upgrade 1 unit: 500
Gold gained by grinding the only level available that you can't beat: 75
This game gets way too boring way too quickly - you literally have no options left but to grind the same boring level.

@Drusthraros one third monks is only optimal while your army is at full strength. More monks = more atk loss each time one of your frontline soldiers dies, so you should probably run a bit less than one third.

Monk damage immunity makes the late game trivial. Beat the game before I could even upgrade everything. Still had one of my original pitchfork peasants in my front row. Never found three of the artifacts.

Once you have Monks, one third of your build should be made of them. That's the sweet spot for getting maximum bonus without losing too much actual attack power.

Hi, I've made this game, but I didn't feel like playing through it myself (it's real slow) so I didn't notice that some things make no sense.

I knew this game seemed familiar. Pretty sure it's the exact same version as on Armor Games which was apparently uploaded a bit over two years ago.

definitely needs a speed up button. maybe the devs have already fixed it, but i didn't have a problem (other than the speed) of this being a grindy game. a tip for people having trouble, end game is all about the monks (can't do only monks though obviously). being invincible for 1 entire round to get all your other abilities off cd is nice.

I guess I can only repeat what I have seen in existing comments. Game speed is a bit slow - and you hit a huge grind wall at lvl 19-21 where you just have to keep dieing to bosses to attempt to upgrade units.
