Focusing on the center of the screen and allowing your peripheral to maintain the mark of motion lets your brain keep the locations for a lot longer, as rngsjk pointed out. As for upgrades, Tolerate Extra Error is particularly well adapted to this as even after your brain realizes that the boxes aren't moving anymore (and your perception re-adapts) you'll still have a general idea of where the boxes that moved were, and can guess correctly in a misclick or two. Make sure to extend selection time if clicking the boxes fast enough is becoming the challenge.

My levels play themselves? I see the white tiles appear, but when they disappear the game moved on to the next level. At first it started at 2, and at 3 I could play, 4 not. Like that, and then suddenly the levels I could play would get smaller, with 7.2 being automatic...
I'm guessing a memory game isn't about making the game play itself lol.

the random is too random, sometimes it is like god difficulty, sometimes its not. i did only 1 mistake untill 15-2 and then lost my both lives :D

A fun little game but I would love to see more levels. Completed it on my first try and would love to see more of a challenge. Maybe extra levels etc

And I haven't lost any lives at all, yeah. Either add more lvls with an even bigger grid, or just add an option to disable upgrades. Well anyway it's still fun, but not challenging.

Don't blink. Don't even blink. Blink and you're dead. The game's fast, faster than you can believe. So don't turn your back, don't look away, and dont. blink. Good luck.

What usually happens is that when I lose a life, I immediately lose another one due to the momentary loss of concentration induced by the frustration of losing a life.

Level 12-3 was as far as I got. Just when I thought I could breeze through it easily, it suddenly got me without warning. Don't overestimate your memory!

Well, if you don't blink and keep staring at the screen, the white tiles will appear a darker grey once they disappear, adding to your observation time.

It is quite a great game. Challenging but not impossible. This is a great trainging for those whom have an issue with their memory. Definetely 5/5. (My first try record is 14-3)

I think you should have an option not to use the upgrades between levels. Which adds a 0.1x multiplier onto your score per upgrade forgone. Add a highscore for Games Won (Finishing level 16 multiple times)?
The last digit represents the stage you reached within a level (1, 2 or 3). The first digit or first two digits represent the level (1 to 16). When you complete the game, your highscore is 164.
