my only problem with these games other than the previously mentioned tiny pixel hunting is that there's often no continuity. he's wearing gloves one sec, then they're fingerless, next they're gone. same with her skin patterns.

No no it's ok I should have noticed that the white feather amongst the other 45 white feathers was slightly grayer than the rest...... good lord. Anyone else find themselves just spamming everything cause "screw the points I just want to beat it"?

I imagine someone telling this as a story, and think they must have an odd fixation on clothing fashion.
"And then he followed the lady into the lake. He had a striped scarf...or maybe not. The lady had tattoos everywhere, or just on her leg, or on one arm, or maybe none at all -- shut up, it's my story!"

Why does only one of the images shake when you use the hint? And it's not always the same one either. A little unfair I think. Both images should shake, imho.

@Effulgent - I read his protip and ignored...... on the first scene a black dot on my screen made me lost 10 points before realize it was a point of dust...........

Here is the hands down easiest way to spot these differences. Cross your eyes until the images make a central image. The differences will kind of flash. might take a little bit of practice, but seriously it makes this pretty simple.

This game is like someone inviting you to find a quarter they've hidden in a room and, after you search, reveals that they hid it in their pocket. Yes, they've technically followed the rules, but they've missed the spirit of the game, and the player is likely to be only frustrated.
So, some advice to the artist:
1. Texture "differences" are not real differences. Stop that right now.
2. When the highest rated comments say things like "clean your screen," you've done something wrong. Yes, making the differences really tiny makes the game harder, but it's not the kind of hard people want to play.
It's your job hide the biggest, most obvious changes that frustrate us because we SHOULD have seen them. This makes you look clever. Instead, you've made the game frustrating because four pixels is really hard to see, NOT because you were clever.

A true work of art. I wish there were movies made like this + the music. Proves that music and visuals are stronger than just words, and can reach those feelings and emotions, that nothing else normally reaches.
Respect.

On hard mode i t actually gets a lot more easier when you get used to the type of differences you should be looking. I didn't have to use hints after the first two levels
