@LotusofFire that is actually pretty standard in freemium games nowadays. Like every single one I have come across thus far gives you premium currency for long term play. Often at a better exchange rate.

I'm sure it is a bit of netpicking but due to all comments claiming it to be a flash-game: It's not. It's html+javascript.
To be a tad more on topic: I normally hate freemium games but "Game of Thrones Ascent" is really fun so far. :)

You should be able to use your silver to buy resources like iron and cloth. The game freezes up a lot when attempting to select a new adventure for a character.

Yesterday, had to refresh 7 times because the game was stuck on 100% and then gave up trying to play that. Its not worth it.

15 sworn swords sent out, 10-20% chance of failure on each adventure. 7 now wounded. Usually the fail rate is higher.

I think the only way is to play it through and then reincarnate or (if you prefer) reincarnate at the end of Vol I. I'm told that you keep one fealty point. I suppose that this bonus criterion is to encourage replays, but I don't want to start again yet so haven't tried it.

You know, the fact that everyone who comments that this is a good game (and probably likewise uprates) is usually below level three does look somewhat suspicious...

I'm on the epilogue of chapter 1 and one of the bonus quests is to build all 5 faction buildings. How do I do that if all the factions are locked to me except for the one I belong to? The only way to open those building to be built is to have talent points in those factions. Is there another way?

i want to like this game, but it takes SO LONG to do anything. then on top of that, when i'm doing quests or adventureing, and i have a 30 to 1 advantag and sstill somehow manage to lose, its just stupid.

needs to have an auto-production of a set resource so you can get it while offline, lords never had to check their subjects every 20 minutes...

Maybe it is just me, but if Kongregate sends out a promo for a game and you go to try the game due to the promo within 3 hours of the e-mail, the promo should not have ended. This makes me seriously question the integrity of the game, if they set up promos that folks can not use.

Plus, some of the acheviements could reward gold or other rewards. Or else there's really no reason to spend 20,000 in the shop.
Plus, you could specify what exactly you mean with "true bodyguards".
Im just hoping its not another excuse for more of the bloodsucking "pay or go away" tatic...

Oh, and many things simply don't make sense too. For example: XXXX got to the stables but couldn't find the messenger, just his torn blue Arwyn coat"
Yet, she got 2 wounds. What's that tunic made of? Snakes??
Plus, why the hell would somebody abandon a coat identifying his house so easly? Shouldn't he be a secret messenger?

Another problem: The odds really need to be fixed....
That and the time of some quests could be reduced depending on you'r odds of sucess. Its shouldn't take so long to do something absurdly easy...

As an alternate fix to that, and another pointing of something that this game lacks: You could surely improve the "stats" area. You could add information about how many of some resources were made.
Better, you could just make a Log Book area on the buildings. That way the players can have statistic information like "wood produced" or "gold spent" or things like that...

Plus, this game really coul use a progress bar for subquests. Its really bad trying to guess how many wood resources you need to produce on the farm, when you actually have to produce 20 and have no idea how many you have already made...
Not that it really matters how many reasources you do produce, considering we will never now if it will be registered anyway. It simply cannot be trusted.
For example: "Upgrade the Sept or Godswood 2 times"
You can make 3 or even 4 upgrades on your godswood but it still doesn't really matters... Im suposing you need BOTH upgraded, wich either means tha this game got another terrible problem with processing or that somebody forgot that quests descriptions ALWAYS needs to be revised (Not only quest descriptions in this special case, actually. Most buildings have problems with the descriptions of At Least 1 thing, and Many skills have errors in their data. Its really anoying to have extra @value on sabotage and not knowing what that is but negligence...

2 More ridicle things i forgot:
1-How can't you send 2 Sworn Swords together? Is it physically impossible for 2 people to walk the same way?
2-How are horses "units" instead of companions? Well, i don't see horses fightng wars alone....
