There is an old DOS game called Hexxagon that uses these same rules, but on a board of hexes instead of squares. It's only 1v1, either two-player or versus the AI. The highest level AI is VERY tough to beat. The game supports custom boards.

Instead of being dead after not being able to move what should happen is the remaining teams fight for control of the rest of the board and you can lose cells but if you still have the most when the remaining teams are done playing you should still win.

why isn't there a way to pass if you don't want to go? For example, there is one open spot in the corner and you are two spaces away from it. You have to go there. After your turn, the computer can take the spot you moved from and gobble up 7 or 8 of your pieces, making you lose. Is that really fair?

Very nice game, but the single player is too short, I'm not really a multiplayer game, so you should, at least, add some kind of "custom deathmatch", where we decide how many "players" we'll go against, the size of the board, etc., 4/5

for all you people who say: "you should be able to pass your turn when you cant move", i dont agree, because sometimes blocking someone is a vital part of someones strategy. and its just a part of the game.

I like how it got new features from orginal 1vs1 game. Multiplayer works nicely as there is still players and i hope there will be player on multiplayer later too

Oh god it seems that every time in lvl 8 a conspiracy is formed against me. No matter whom I attack first or in which area I try to reside... every lvl before was a success...

On Day 7, if the white cells are your last living ennemy and they loose because they have no more possible move, you win despite the fact that they had to survive the game.
But this is a flaw in the story. Imagine viruses, yellow cells and you die on this day, all the remaining cells in the patient's spinal cord are white cells. "Good cells". The "therapy" is then a success. The game considers it as a failure.

The multiplayer has allot of potential.
-Teams (2v2)
-You should not die when you run out of turns (skip your turn instead)
-Leaver virus should still be able to take over.
-Also you should be able to kick players while matchmaking.
-When you make the game you get to choose between 2-3-4 players. Remove that just make the game start when evryone in the server is ready
great game by the way ;)

At first i was bothered about how short it was. Then I discovered the multiplayer :D
2 hours and counting. wish there were more to play against though.

Nice idea. The campaign seems a little short, but it is a very interesting game - easy enough to understand, but difficult to play well.

Very fun game, nice concept. I like that the enemies infight. The Submit Score feature seems to be broken, and the story has some loose ends. Wasn't there the worry about the assistant spreading the disease to the family?
