Rates a giant "eh!" from me. Completely, utterly repetitive. Once you've beaten one type of a guy, you've beaten them all. Graphics are... OK. You find yourself wishing that your character could do all the cool things the boss character can.

4/5 do work, just gotta turn numlock on. sucks when a boss just keeps you stunned till you're dead and you gotta kill him in your 'invincible' period.
far too easy for the rest, and what not, was funny for about 5 minutes, 2/5 for that sake

It got stuck on the second boss, I had killed all the other people but the boss doesn't appear? I think this game still needs a bit more work 3/5

ok I just noticed that the arrow does travel... which I guess means that when the game has performance lag the arrow can disappear. So disregard my former comment and the new comment is that your animation based on frames rendered has potential to cause animation to not exist when frames are skipped.

agreed about the archers... at least have the arrow travel and not instantly hit the player (you already have an arrow sprite.. just animate it to travel to the player). To offset, you can increase the damage arrows do. It's impossible to block an invisible instant hitting arrow that gets fired off screen.

I'm sorry, but this game is terrible. Controls lag, AI is minimal, needs user definable controls (t/y is a terrible choice for keys), enemies almost always appear from behind, archers can attack off screen which prevents you from dodging, the 4/5 buttons dont work for attacks, collision detection is spotty, need to be able to retrieve spears from dead foes, should be able to use bows, possible copyright infringement?
1/5

Neat start, but I agree with the comments that you should have a level up system, some purchasing economy, a story, some way to pick up other weapons, more weapons, or any combination of the above. The jumping attack animation looks cool, but that's not enough.

Chris18: Go to the main menu and click normal mode again and you can choose which level to start from
dudemanguy222 & daolath: Press your num lock key, if num lock is not on then the keys are not 4 & 5

Cool game, but it still just feels a bit to much walk to guy, poke him a bit with a spear/sword. Kill him. Walk to next guy and poke with a spear/sword.
This game could so be made into a full fledged campaign game with a mission, weapons/ammo to buy (bow), multiple weapons/armor etc
4/5 for now. Not going up for sure, possibly 1 down.

funny game, but there are errors. I had it several times thaa the enemie did not die after I throw the spear at them... there was a lag. Also are the enemies often faster at kicking someone, as well as their recovery time after being kicked is far less than that of the 'hero'...

It's no -too- bad... but a few gripes. A lot of the time, my only clue that an archer was coming was randomly losing HP since he would attack offscreen.
His arrows would not affect enemies, magically flying through those blocking him and hitting me.
Lastly, graphically... gradient shading is never a good thing.
Otherwise, a fun game :) 3*/5

Awsome game, i think it would be cool if you added a store where you could upgrade swords/spears. Other than that awsome, 5/5
