I loved Dragon Fist 3, and was excited to see this on the front page. Unfortunately, the (incredible) graphics upgrade came with a downgrade in gameplay. The fighting is slower and less fluid than the previous game's, and is less complex. For example, weapons are no longer available. Personally, I think it makes for a purer fighting game, but it reduces choices. Also, fewer moves have guard-breaking properties that can be used to set up combos. I applaud the visuals, but if I want some Kung Fu fighting, I'll be heading back to Dragon Fist 3.
I know some features have dropped, but there is some new stuff. Each style has quite a few more moves with the addition of hard and quick attacks. If this game does well, then there may be a sequel with more features, perhaps weapons. I would love to make that

For all of you who are having trouble with this game, let me give you a mega hint. Blocking is important. Boom, your mind is blown. Now play the game and have fun.

Get someone with monkey stance and just pin an enemy to the side with light punches...thats like the easiest way to win fights.

I don't know if its my internet or the game, but it crashes in Chrome and lags badly in IE. From the little that I've played it seems like a great game too... Please fix this problem

there are so many bugs bro. When i do the special attack it dosn't hurt the enemy and when i am to fast the character do what he wants

Nice, fast-paced and arcadey... I love it! However, I do have a problem with the special being activated by pressing I and O at the same time; half the time I press the buttons, my character either does the I move or the O move rather than the special, which is rather annoying.

This game is unbelievably glitchy. Not even playable for me. I only get a few seconds of gaming before the next glitch.
Some moves contain a 'grab', and some styles have more of these moves. That challenge is working out when you are in danger of being hit by one of them. Also of course they will just use the normal grab.

@wolfwing777 Um yeah it's just because you lose, I enjoy that battle because of the difficulty on Legend. Also, by the way you're complaining i'm assuming you've never played the game before and have not had a chance to familiarize yourself with the controls, and what combos are better against what characters. So play some more and try a lower difficulty, even if the battles are super easy, use it as practice to get better.

I Iove this game, but I will also never stop loving the dragon fist 3.
Is the only game of Chinese martial arts website that has the style of the films of the 70s and 80s.
NEVER get tired of playing.

instead if picking a style, why not choose individual moves from other styles
(such as the forward kick of tiger with the defesnive hand strike of serptent, etc)
that would make for VERY unique characters!
