I'd have to agree with the others, although the graphics are good enough, the terrible ship control and repetitive missions kept the game under par. 3/5

Continue campaign works fine for me but it may be because i use firefox and not ie.
Yeah a good game, attack ship ai could do with some work and a zoom in and out feature even if it was just like 4x out.
Overall enjoyed this game and gave it 5 ;)

turrets shouldn't work without power. ships should return fire when attacked. buildings should have rally points so produced ships get automatically send there.

Played the game half way and found that the Artillary ships having some problems. When i command them to move away after they r attacking, they just move a little back and shoots again, its like its on auto engage permernantly. thats bad.

this game can be really awesome whit a few remakes like faster ships, smarter enemys, etc oh and WHY THE SHIPS HAVE TO TURN BACK TO SHOOT?THE PILOT DINT RECEIVE TRAINING OR WHAT?HES JUST DUMB?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The ships are just plain stupid. Going around a whole planet when going the otherside round shorter is. What's that all about? And map nav is quite annoying. Zoom out would be very nice too, and maybe colonizing other planets?

Please let me scroll the map with WASD! It's awkward to use the arrow keys with your left hand while using the mouse with your right...

Ships ignore command. Annoying map navigation. Not much/bigger 'planets' to expand your bases on for resources/defense. Ship navigation failure. Upgrades/Building prices abit costly. Conclusion : 1/5 [ Well... Im a fan of RTS ]

Geez, this game looks soo cool, but there's sooo many glitches/annoyances.
1, when my ship are flying towards a base, they wont attack other ships in the area, and then they form up and sit there. I can aggro the enemy ships, but they cant aggro me.
2, the enemy is way too strong. 3 levels into the game the enemy starts the attack, but they're wayy too powerful. When i go to attack a power station, 90% of my army will die on the way there, even if its an army of 14-15, yet when the enemy attacks me it'll do a bunch of damage all around, probably destroy 2 or 3 buildings, and leave me screwed. One attack on me, and i'll lose the game, one attack on the enemy, minor scratches maybe.

3 and 4 are just annoyances, such as the S key. when im trying to hotkey and sell something, my immediate hotkey is S. It's like that in TDFs and many RTSs, the other thing is that you can destroy the mothership. I was like destroy O.o? and i destroyed it.
Also quitting, i thought if i were to quit a battle it'd send me back to the sector selection, no it quit the game. There needs to be a way to save the game, i mean there's a Continue Game button in the menu, but no option to save the game anywhere else.

Great game and no bugs on my comp. The only thing that needs improving is a zoom out button cuz I have a little bad eyesight.

i think that in systems with more than two planets, if you manage to colonize more than one of them, your ship limit should go up. And like everyone else I'm a little upset that when a ship is destroyed all the torpedoes that are heading towards it disappear. They should be like the AT Torpedoes in SF:DG as soon as 1 enemy dies they autotarget the next closest one.

There seems to be a bug in the new version. I can't select ships. When I try, there's some kind of disturbed sound and then it ignores me. Yesterday all went perfect. Is this the new version?

I agree that the ship movement AI has issues. For example, when ordering ships near a planet to attack a building near them at the planet, some of the ships will head straight for it and some will waste time circumnavigating the planet before firing. The ship limit is somewhat annoying, but I can understand with flash performance limitations. Also, the game is waaaaay to easy for me. A difficulty option could help, though the skirmish option satisfies my desire for difficulty somewhat. Finally, the ships need balance. Part of the reason this is so easy is just how good artillery ships are. Their only weakness is stealth ships and those can be shot as they are created. Sure, artillery ships tend to not fight unless directly ordered, but if you micromanage them, they can kill anything.

@inzanor definitly fix the drones it seems their more on like passive than passive aggressive so instead do not attack back when they r hit and add badges game will be grea luv it so far tho

Why the hell can't I put out a large fleet and trust them to defend the base while I build? Or why can't there be more ships with more planets I secure? This game looked good at first but it's horrible once you play it for more than a few seconds

and why does the surrender button have to be right there on the main menu thing and so big and huge and in the middle of other buttons
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
funny how sometimes when your dudes are attacking their planet that some of the retarded ships must go all the way around the planet in order to start firing at some of the planet's buildings i thought that was really retarded

Could be a way better game. Needs some way to save, and the units need to not be so damn incompetent. I'd tell a group to attack an enemy and they'd fly up right next to it and sit there while it killed them, or they'd decide to do a couple laps around the planet first. They also couldn't do a thing on their own and if I didn't tell them to attack, they'd let an enemy pick them off one by one because it was out of their firing range, and therefore their vision, even though the ship right next to them was being shot at.

Great potential for sure. The arrow keys to navigate the map sucks (really!). I find it a little unbalanced, it's true. Ship limit? ok but give us an option to increase the cap limit (like farms in Warcraft). 2.5 from me.

not a fan of RTS to begin with... and there are so many that are better than this that for others to play this is a waste of their time

At first this game was great and then I got to my fifth area and things went down hill. I had a 8 man squad of heave fighters and the enemy sent down a wave of one heave, two light and 4 drones. end result = enemy had no losses and every one of my ships was destroyed and I lost the level. After having some programing background this is bad code because something as simple as this should not be eating resources as it is. This game was a 5/5 but quickly dropped to a 1.5/5, .5 because the game looks good.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Gamepages if you play the game for more then 5 minutes you figure out it is not unbalanced. And really the AI isn't that bad.
Vanguarde the ships are limited for a reason.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Was about to rate this a 5/5 right from the start...then I noticed the AI sucked, the controls sucked, and the game is HORRIBLY unbalanced. Then I rated it a 1/5.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
A lot of potential here... but unit AI needs work. My fighters don't defend themselves properly or always attack nearby units.
3 stars with high hopes for a patch or sequel!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The ship AIs could use some work. They're targeting a building, and I explicitly tell them to turn around and move away from the planet. They stay attacking the building. Etc.
