an most of the first siege levels all that you need to do is buy a ladderman and fully upgrade your spearman then during a siege just send a lot of spear men to one line and then one ladderman if he doesnt make it try again and then keep sending spearmen to that one column because in siege enemy units dont take away progress. hit plus if this worked

The Scout is good for nothing. The enemy has an uncanny ability to apparently predict where I'm going to send scouts, or simply instantly place a swordsman/spearman/god damn giant demon on the lane which I just sent a scout running down - either to "rush through a gap in their defenses" or to climb up a ladder. Both are negated, because there are no gaps in the enemy defense. Only occasional luck allows me to get a scout through from time to time, and head-on fighting no longer works on the last two levels, because my enemy is plain out overpowering me. The game has some... Balancing and AI issues, such as it seems.

I just sent a charge of fully upgraded Hammermen down all lines... And time runs out, so I lose, despite being about to win. What the FFFF.

@ random1user, just because three races are locked for kongregate users doesn't mean you have to rate 1/5, the rating goes way down because of ppl like you, rate the game on how you like it, not locked content. look at the game from every angle, not just the locked content + if you agree

hey, i really like this game, but can you let the enemy attack our areas? i mean, of course the game's great and fun, but i think it would get a bit better rating if the enemy attacked back. click plus if you agree

This game deserves a solid 5/5. Whiners are being horribly annoying, even the mature whiners. If you want to play as those dang races, then go to Armorgames. He's mad his choice, and he's obviously not going to update the game and erase every save file just so a few people can be the mountain trolls or the undead. 5 races is more than enough, would you rather pay kreds or click on a link that brings you directly to armorgames to play? It doesn't even have badges yet, and people are already whining. The game is amazing, no matter what any of you say, and honestly, these whiners are starting to ruin my experience of the game. As said before, 5/5, great job Ben.

My only complaint is that the seige levels are too easy, simply spam/attack a single lane and win quickly and easily. Other than that, I like the new version.

This Game Is Fantastic the new units ,graphics ,gameplay etc, but in the warlords 1 the upgrading system is much better in this only the basic in the other you can upgrade one unit and make much stronger ,example the king's guard you can upgrade armor and their attack tok make better unit ,but in this only upgrade only the armor one time but not the attack and the kills number

The game itself is good and I only wish there were not so many people complaining. AT LEAST YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY FOR IT! FREAKING! The game itself is very good! You guys just whine because you cannot be arsed to go to a site that is ONE click away. You guys are idiots.

A lot of people complaining about the locked races and IMO rightfully so - to complain that is.
Locked content and links/advertisements to another site is understandable but 3 races is too much of the game. In games like Gemcraft it's much better done where the bonus is rather small and not neccecary for every playstyle.
Yes, a 1/5 vote ain't a fair representation for the game, but that's life for ya and next time hopefully developers won't anoy their fans in such a manner.

4/5 because it doesn't improve that much on the original, though the graphics are better and the sieges are nice, but it also took too long for you to upload here. -1 because we can only play as about half the races, so it's 3/5

Note to any of the comments about DJ not "choosing" to get sponsored by Kongregate - game developers do not get a choice as to who they receive sponsorship from.
We can turn down or accept sponsorship offers, but that's the limit of our actual control over the process. It's like trying to get a book published, as a writer you're not in a position to call the shots, just gotta let the rival publishers decide how interested they are in your work.
A developer being sponsored by Armor does not indicate his or her level of loyalty to Kongregate (or any of the other several thousand sites on the internet), it simply indicates that Armor was more interested in sponsoring the game than Kongregate, or any other site.
So please, just rate based on how much fun you had with the game. This one is pretty cool. :)

I stopped trying to win when I staged a 1-on-1 fight in the "multiplayer" option between two demon forces. Charge + the Huge Demon = Overkill. It happened more than once too...

The most amazing thing is that if the developer had given five races only, everybody would be happy. But giving five races and three locked races, and there go the 1/5's. Who would spit on a few hundred bucks in these hard times?

You guys rating 1/5 for locked content are being absolutely ridiculous. Yes, there is locked content but the locked racial bonuses are essentially the same as the bonuses you get for unlocked races. Not to mention you can unlock two more races for completing the game once and three times, giving you at most SEVEN races to play with with some work. You guys should feel happy you get five instead of just one or two races from the very beginning. Now, aside from that, I think the game has improved in its graphics, and it introduces something new to Warlords not shown in the previous games. That deserves some credit, more than the attention the locked races are getting. 5/5

This is a very good game indeed but I think some users ought to be ashamed spamming the secret race. Warning: PLEASE DON'T SPAM THE SECRET RACE! You will take the enjoyment away from everyone because everyone has been anticipating this for many months now. (Following CoD Black Ops)

How would you like it if you spent a large amount of time designing and producing a great game and decided you wanted to make the most money possible and some little kids downrate the game because they do not understand how the world works.

An amazing game. Fantastic graphics, excellent strategy and gameplay. Having some races locked out is meh, but it's not like it's THAT hard to go to the main site to go play. 5/5 and I hope this gets badges!

Great improvement in graphics - and some of the levels had me in a panic! Well balanced! If I am not mistaken, I believe Armor Games accounts are free as well right? If you are like most people, you probably have an account there too so use it if you want to unlock everything. Some games are locked to this site as well I believe.

This is an excellent game regardless of how many races you can play on this site. Do not underrate this game because some of the races are locked. If you want to play the other races go to the creator's site

Ya know, I would ask you to add a "create your own race" feature where you can pick your troops besides ladderman and the starting 4, but you'd probably reserve it for Armorgames. =(

So don't get me wrong, I love this game, and series in general...
But...
i have to say, this doesn't feel like a new game to me. I'd have liked to see some new story elements (rather than just a set up for another game, which admittedly will be great), maybe some new element to gameplay. I mean, for most of the game, I found myself on autopilot, just reusing the same spearman-spam technique I used to complete the first game.
Although the new magic users are pretty badass, I have to admit.

Warlords 2 is a very fun game, but the 1st one, in my opinion, is better. For one reason, the units moved faster in the 1st one, in this one, they walk slower than a crippled turtle. The upgrading system for the first one is better too, you can upgrade all your units at once. And only 5 RACES!?!? I wish your home was Kong. Seriously, not being able to play as the Undead or Mountain Trolls, those are my two favorite races! Otherwise, its a pretty decent game. 3/5

Again, I don't understand the multiple lane system. If you were wood elf archer, and you saw a human warrior infront of you... but just a hair to the left... I don't think you would ignore him. Also, I don't think he'd walk past you once he reaches you. I don't care how bad the graphics have to be, a clickable open map is WAAAAAAY better than this "lanes" system. You can keep the lanes for AI, but units need to be 1) commandable, and 2) attack things in other lanes (if so commanded). Please reconsider.

The best bit was when the archwizrd teleported then killed a demon :P Epic game for all the family! Please move to Kongregate, only Kongregate has the fine women :( otherwise 4/5

YAWN. I don't know why or if the first game was as popular as the description says it is but if it is it didn't deserve it and neither does this one. While I'm not saying this one is altogether BAD I do have to say that it is way too slow and frankly boring. The so called strategy is way to limited and, frankly, the whole game set up has been done much better on Kongregate multiple times. And, of course, serious stars penalty for locking races against Kongregate users. Bad Llama!!!
