I chose Mountain Trolls, saved up enough for the Huge Troll unit, and then pushed spearmen until my Q was ready and then threw a line of Trolls at them.... it seems to work

quick badge: i went with orcs of the south. Only summon the basic spearmen. Buy extra armor at all opportunities. Send spearmen in 1 single file, dont spread them.
Important: choose the most difficult map at all times. If you take the easy maps first, the hard maps will go to max: 105% difficulty. If you do the hardest ones first, they will only be about 60%-ish.
so gogo armored basic spearmen pushing 1 lane on hardest maps. Autosummon in options, but dont AFK-play as the autosummon stops when q is charged. So watch the screen and spam q whenever.

undead start with -3 archers and +3 halberds...so i win easily by auto-sending halberdiers. note: "difficulty" increases everwhere each round, which means enemies will have upgraded units-so don't try to always pick the easiest, because the hard ones will become too hard! pick easy ones till you get a few good upgrades (like +10 armor), then go after the hard ones before they get too hard.

I was doing fine until somebody started talking to me and I discovered that there is no mid battle pause.
If I can't ADHD play this game, I don't want to play it.
Other than that it's fine.

I don´t know about the other races but you can conquer the entire map playing undead and using spearman only. Spend all money upgrading armor and the spearmens atk dmg, spawn them (hold spacebar) in one "lane" only and ignore all enemy units that pass over to your side. Boring yes but it gets it done (you can put something on the spacebar holding it down during every battle and go do something useful meanwhile). Only on 1 occasion towards the end of the campain i got some trouble. The enemy countered with many strong swordsmen in the same lane and killed off my spearmen a bit too fast. I just started spawning them in another lane then, letting the enemy units through.
The difficulty percentage has little to do with the difficulty. Last area i conquered was "difficulty 100%" and i´m not exaggerating when i say it was one of the easiest of all.

q button stopped working half way through campaign, fine but also means auto send dosn't work once charge is built up! reloading hasn't helped.

It's amazing how crap-tacular this game is. I mean seriously, as of the second level, they have mounts, and all i got from the first level is 100 gold? WTH am i even supposed to upgrade with that? Not to mention upgrades i CAN afford, for units i don't have/CAN'T afford.... The shop was not well thought out, nor the difficulty progression.

@easterwave: I noticed that too, I'm thinking probably cause when you surrender you go and buy an upgrade. Then when you fight again, it becomes easier and you kill less people = less money haha

Does anyone else have problem with wasd keys control? I can only use arrow keys and I am not able to use Q either! Does anyone know how to fix this?

The suggestion to surrender in order to keep the money is fine, but it looks to me like you get less the more often you surrender. That's not fair! ;)

Grinding for money on low levels: high difficulty levels do not give enough money, kills and money are faster on low levels. (Did not measure, played mindlessly.)

Spearmen are not "useless" they are "reinforcement" units. Like, helping an Swordsmen to increase damage done on a Whirler. They also are good against Halberdiers when player don't have axemen.

ok I know of the 2nd one I like it but there is one missing fetcher, MULTIPLAYER btw this games good to but still no pvp plz make the 3rd one with pvp in it

spear man? are you for real normalpower idc if your using a race that starts with better spears THEY SUCK I only use them for one thing, running in front of my archers if my other guards are dead and now that I have kings guard I have no need for them AT ALL

ow I just unlocked the kings guard[human race only unit] and if you thought that the axe man is overpowerd well this is worse attack 2 times in a row 130 range,90 max damage,speed 4,armor 120 but it cost you 1800 to buy it and it trains slow as heck ow and one last thing he can do back flips and so you know the kings guard is a sword user
