When your jumping, unless your close to or at the peak of the jump you can still be hit. And to make it worse, you instantly move you back down to the ground. The *only* good part of this game is the music.

That means he didn't bother thinking up a new idea (as oposed to someone thinking they can do better than the original game and only barely succeeding)

Note: Lethal combo....beheading swipe plus triple kick. Don't buy any of the other moves, except perhaps ankle crusher and stationary spin.

This is just... ugh. I can't see myself playing this anymore. I love Warlords and expected equal fun with this, but I was wrong. It seems like a cheap ripoff of Achilles (another game I didn't like; even had the same screen when you paused) and I don't feel like a lot of effort was put into this. I also think something needs to be done with the difficulty, I found myself fighting 3 archers, 2 swordsman, and a halberdier at one point on a Medium map, at which point I got a game over from 4 lives. You did it better than Achilles, but that's little to brag about. I'm sure this could be something worth playing, but right now... 2/5

The music is from LotR:RotK (Rohan "Theme") or at least it sounds pretty much like it.
I like this game a tad better than Achilles due to Equipment, Upgrades and Henchies being available.
3/5 for the effort.

Items don't really seem worth it. I mean, if I plunk down the cash for the items reducing damage by 50%, 30%, and 20%, it kind of seems like I should be fairly invincible here.

Seems the fundamental problems with achilles are still here. Also, you put in different "moves" in this game that I have to purchase, but my character picks randomly from the moves I have, I only get to choose to pick what "group" of moves he picks from. Wish I could sell back the lame moves so he'd stop using them.
On the plus side, the graphics are somewhat better, and the archers don't seem to fire from off-screen anymore.

If enemies weren't always coming from behind, or if you could choose the direction you face, this game would be a lot better. I think you would learn from the complaints about Achilles. If you fixed that, it would be a good game.

The fact that everytime I'm going to the exit and guys won't stop coming from the behind making my henchmen run away earns this a 1.

Wow, so much wrong here. My moves depend on which way I'm facing, yet I have no control over that? Huh. Maybe instead of divining my intent, let me hit the space bar to turn around?

compared to this achillies sucked this game is really fun good artwork and characters from a game everyone knows about however demon horses are cheap

I agree with Spike51990 below. Same problems as achilles, only with MOAR STOREE. Ran away from two spear guys because I kept getting in two close only to find myself with 3 spear guys, two swordsman, and an archer. Took two deaths to kill them all.

The gameplay is too similar to Achilles, which I hated immensely, and not enough like Warlords, which was just awesome.

Ugh... Just an Achilles clone. I'll give you a point for adding a little thought to it with the moves/armor/henchman, but it's still a horrible game.
