Would have been great to still get some EXP for missions you fail. Not getting any faction standing is both logical and acceptable, but it's very frustrating to have nothing to show for an only just lost +30 wave challenge map. Other than that, pretty great! I love how you can redo levels to get more experience.

How to win at divide challenge (25k+ damage): 1) Put + 30 waves, double enemies, 50% + health 2) Build the barrack / trading post 3) At the center of the top of the map put: 2 guard tower + totem (between each pair of guards) + 2 guard tower and your hero. 3) In front of the towers put a battle standard. 4) Dont build other structures, so the towers will lvl up fast 5) Upgrade all towers to shok one and you will get it. 6) If you want, you can place more towers at the end of the map, to kill the survivors of your structure.

@16779846541: I agree about the "closest to exit" priority, and I would also like to have "attack stealth enemies" as a target priority for towers and fighters with the perception ability. I hate to see my archers attacking some grunts while stealth units slip by.

Is there a hidden aspect of the tier 3 badge? Despite having all missions at 3 stars and challenges completed, it eludes me still.

max upgraded hero side... +30 range, damage and speed towers, +20 range damage and speed hero... and the stupid things still shoot the guy furthest from the exit so I still can't keep them all from escaping on 3 maps. (usually the escapee is within the first 3 waves... which is before you can upgrade enough to stop them through overwhelming power) Arrow barrage them and the towers don't upgrade so you just have more escapees later when you run out of energy...

I like the game overall, but it seems like once I have all of the upgrades there are very few differences among the towers. There are some unique abilities, like the shock tower, but overall the towers are very similar. 4/5

@kackyman28z if that happens ppl could get infinite money from towers that get below 55 in price and since that is easy with enough barracks it would be way to easy to complete lvls

@jrlyon Just to add to what he said: If you a less damage oriented hero, or you didn't spent enough points on might attributes (resetting points late in game is bad because you'll lose every point above 99) then you could still finish "the divide" challenge by doing everything jrlyon said AND increasing the health of your enemies. Just make sure you don't go overboard (+25% should be enough, +50% in extreme cases, keep yourself alive with hero skills) and everything should be fine.
Just finished that level with 20% hero (Ranger) strength and 14% commander's might. The added health allowed my hero to do more shots in some cases and that extra damage pushed me over the finishing line. Don't forget you need lots of focus totems fairly early on so that your towers could bypass the bosses' armor, or teleport your hero further up for those waves to make use of his Sandering ability (in case of Ranger heroes).

I'm already stunned by the story line and haven't started the game. It was awesome! The graphics, the voice, the plot of it all.

Very addictive, perhaps could use a bit more explanation how the factions/allegiance system works as I'm totally confused. And are ward towers-rangers and guard towers-warriors etc linked? Also, why you don't always get upgrade points upon leveling (lv 19, went to upgrade screen but no points to spend). But anyway, love the challenges and different ways to play each level though! Good job :D

I found it's possible to place structures on the wrong type of terrain by sliding the cursor off a placeable tile and onto an unplaceable tile and clicking fast enough.

Meh. Everytime i come back to this game, my save-game is gone. And no, not anywhere else, only this game. I play from home and from work, seems the game does not like that. Got seperate pc's and saves for both locations. When i play at work, and go home and play, savegame gone. Go to work, savegame gone. Started over a few times, but now its not fun anymore :)

at first, when i saw the introi thought 'this could be interesting'. But then i started playing and realised it was just an average TD. I played a few maps, unlocked some towers, played some more maps, unlocked even more towers, tried the challenges, got some extra levels and i suddenly realised i had been playing the game for several hours. It brings quite some good qualities of other TD's together while bringing a new way of getting better towers (by getting a neutral/friendly/ally status with other factions). To sum it up: it starts slow, but play for a while and it gets really fun. Not as great as the original hands of war though ;) 5/5.

I like this game, I recognised a few similarities to the "Cursed" ToD games. It could do with some enemies that oppose class types. For instance, maybe flying opponents that warriors can't reach, magic immune golems, skeletons for whom arrows go straight through with no damage, perhaps

I managed to complete warpath and divide. My hero had a full upgraded talent tree with 30+ base damage and 30+ firing rate. Here's how I did it:
Warpath: 30+ waves only. I used only my here for this one. Place him in the middle of the map. Add a scouting post and a battle standard for him. As the waves progress add some power totems. He should be doing around 200 dmg per hit. This should be more than enough to get you over the limit.
Divide: +30 waves, +double enemies. Place your hero 2 spots above the vantage point so he covers the exit. You may want to give him a scouting post. Build 5 guard towers along the top of the island side by side attacking the exit. This may take a couple of waves. Upgrade them all to shock towers. Use frenzy liberally to stay alive until the towers are ready. Add battle standard when you have some extra cash. The overkill damage is enough to get you to 250k.

Sadly, firing speed of zero does not cause units to fire infinitely fast. Has anyone managed to get unit placement costs down to zero yet?

There is a bug where if you are the Ranger hero, and have eagle sight on then place a utility tower, the range of that tower is massively increased and does not fall after eagle sight is deactivated. Quite helpful when beating the game, but most likely not intended to happen

Is it even possible to do 250K damage on that Challenge? I played with +30 waves, 2x HP, 2x enemies and didn't get it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
bug? after selling two barracks, the cost of next one is still same as trying to buy a 3rd. that doesn't seem correct o.o

@Hyathin - try harder. if i remember correctly I dealt 1mil damage in this map. Just max the map with everything except armor. If you did that with 15 waves, they now have the 30 waves options.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Hyathin - Guard Towers doing lots of overcharge damage, extra waves, attackers, and health.
The options let you maximize attackers to damage, the towers let you do lots of overdamage. Easy to get multiples of the required damage that way.

There is a bug that was causing the badge completion sound to continue playing even in the map and talent point page, i even went to the main menu and reloaded the game but it continued to make the sound. i had to refresh the browser. [+] this so the dev can see

It'd be good if I could view the prerequisites to subclasses without having to load up a map and get a tower up to level 4.

This is a fun game, but I'm not sure how I managed to achieve both goals of "complete the battle on this map using only your champion" and "kill 100 enemies with a single non-champion unit" in the same battle. 4/5, just because the game could always be even better. Keep up the good work, though!

After many many hours of gameplay, I've finished all the badges, yet I never got bored unlike so many of these games :) 5/5
