I found a bug: when I begun a battle and I was asked to place my champion i clicked on one of my spells, selecting it (storm of swords i think), I pushed Esc to deselect spell and place my champion. Placement cursor was not there, I couldn't place my champion, select spells, tower icons told me to place champion first and retry and quit buttons stopped working.

hate to ask, but, Done with all the challenges and 3 stars on every map. Still, no hard badge. Any clue what I might be missing? Thanks.

@dfgfhg: Actually, I -think- that by doubling the enemies armor, you were actually dealing less damage. The way I got it was by letting the champion deal with the mobs for a while, and focusing on building that Soul stuff sub-tower thingy. After that it was just Bloodlust spamming. (Warrior champion here.)

I did that with barely just enough (250k dmg challenge) Had like lvl 6x archer with maxed out fire rate and around the end I had it doing around 240~260 per shot or something like that with full map range, also had the fire arrow thing going on (piercing and slowing) so I got ALL of them. Double armor double health double enemy +30 waves still only made 269k dmg

So on the map where you need to get 250,000 damage.. +30 waves, double enemies number = 144k-ish damage; +30 waves, double enemies number, 25% more enemies hp = 222k-ish damage; +30 wave, double enemies number, 50% more enemies hp = 189k-ish damage -- Are you joking with me? >_>

This game is mad wak, i liked the old hands of war,but now they are different which ruins them if u agree copy and paste this

this may just be a pet peeve of mine, but none of the proper nouns in the prologue were capitalised. for example, Tempor should have a T, not a t. Guardius should have a G, not a g.

Found a glitch. Sometimes when you click to skip the animation for the results page the dinging noise keeps going until refresh. Bit annoying. Just a heads up :)

Average tower defense game. While it's fun, this game steals all of its ideas from Protector and Cursed Treasure, and offers nothing original other than art in the introduction. All tower types have the same special abilities unlocked in different orders, so the only thing motivating you to build different types of towers is the cost and the width of the path (making need longer or shorter range units).
Despite the developer's intended emphasis on the champion, the champion is only necessary for spotting stealthed units before you can upgrade your ranger. It steals experience from other units, so it's really best placed on clean-up at the end of the path.

And yes, I've answered my own question; the divide challenge does, in fact, require double enemies, double health, and +30 waves. I just figured I'd mention that since originally I was clueless as to what exactly I had to do to reach 250k damage, and ended up going through a bunch of lower difficulties before I finally went with the above. Really, the challenge should just be worded differently or should just straight up say what settings you have to have it on since ultimately there's no really any other way to do it anyways. Unless if overkill damage counts? I don't know.

after I reached level 56, every time I complete a battle it won't let me access the talent screen...it's like the game just freezes.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Erm...am I misunderstanding the divide challenge? Or is it really going to require me to do +30 waves, double enemies and double health? If that's the case...don't you think that's kind of a steep challenge, especially compared to what the others are? I didn't have much of an issue at all with the other challenges, but hell, all that with +50% health wasn't very easy to start with, so imagine my frustration when I finished the level and STILL didn't have the badge. That's why I'm wondering if maybe I'm misunderstanding what's going on. I guess the only way to know is to just grind some more and beat the double health version...

@redflame: it says "select 40 upgrades", what the dev actually means with "select" is "buy", you need to buy MORE than 40 upgrades to finish that challenge
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
in case you don't get it: the black enemies are "stealthed" enemies, effectively invisible, so your units can't hit them: you need a stealth-detecting unit. fortunately, the champion has a "champion talent" upgrade that gives him this ability. if you're really desperate, zap them with the #2 spell that hits everything in an area!

great game, but it brings back my frustrations about upgrade w experience. the strong will become stronger, the weak will stay weak... the only thing you can do is place towers after the strategic positions have been defended with upgraded towers.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
"Blade's edge challenge" says to beat the level with less than 40 upgrades. I did it with about 10 upgrades. Being clear on what is meant by "upgrades" would be good. I'm guessing it's referring to hero talent and skill points, but it clearly points to upgrades when referring to "upgrades".

I do like this game, but buy-sell quota is kinda imbalance. The price of the second structure you build should get to the lower price again. when you sell the first. Otherwise selling structures does not make sense.

@Cryne This game originally had premium content on Armor, but the dev said that Kong wasn't allowing it for some reason. Those two levels are premium content.

Well, I liked the game very much, I have been playing quite a good bit of hours now. Only one request, that I find sometimes annoying. When I misplace a tower, I can't sell it: First, because it gives me nothing (Not even 1/4 of the original ammount) and plus, the quantity of towers multiplier for the price of the next one still applies (So, to relocate a misplaced tower, I loose 3/4 of the invested money and I have to pay even more than before). If you can fix that, it is a flawless 5/5. By the way, it is a nice turn for the series to make one TD. I am eager to see what other ways the Hands of War series might take!

There are 2 levels missing in my version I think.
I couldn't find the fourth level in the middle top mountains (shown in the video walkthrou-map).
My gamesave also shows 84/90, but all my visible levels are done. :(
... and if it is some easter egg funktion of game play, it sucks.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Can't believe I'm saying this... but why don't we have the premium content that Armor Games has? There isnt even an option to buy it on here.

Do banner effects stack? I placed a number of banners in close proximity of one another in the hopes they would have a combined buff on the surrounding towers, but it was hard to notice any marked improvement in rate of fire. Numerically it says its better on the tower stats, but I had 4 lvl 4 banners buffing surrounding towers and it seemed like the towers were only benefitting from one banner, if any at all. I was expecting steel rain and it only seemed like drizzle.

I found a bug... if you use the egale sight and build your "aura" towers when active, they gain permanently more range...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
25% more effectiveness on trading outpost and barracks is actually doing like 5% or so, and the game lets you lose points trying to buy a skill without enough points. All these obvious numbers problems really make me wonder if you tested at all. Targetting was annoying, but most hp to apply debuffs and stealthed on precise towers can do the job, bu invisible enemies are incredibly frustrating, especially when they're so early that they just mean I have to teleport around every single round, because towers cannot possibly see stealth by then.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Something about the teleport seems to be buggy, on ranger's path every time I teleported the main champion back to his original place, the base attack time increased, started tih -29 and ended up with -41, five standards surrounded the place to minimize the attack speed ^^ btw I got the badge kil over 500 enemies with a non-champion unit even so my only unit on the map was my champion and a lot non-attacking buildings, otherwise nice game. 5/5 ;)
