So the game doesn't pause in character review mode. I was to talk to a man, he turned in to 4 enemies and I couldn't change my weapon. 0/5 Just awful.

I did a complete ranger play thru. For the quest with the flower petal, I sniped the furthest enemy away with shadow shot, ran to the flower and ran away. Other than that, I didn't use tactics too much, I mostly just spammed attack keys.

Here's an Archer build that nukes groups and shreds single targets.
Assassin Tree - Killing Spree 2/2 Dead Eye 5/5
Warder Tree - Hunter's Pursuit 5/5 Steady Shot 1/1 (get this ASAP) Nature's Grasp 1/1 Stalker's Fury 3/3 Blessing of the Wind 1/1 Explosive Shot 1/1 Shadow Shot 1/1 (Spirit of the Grove when needed, I had 3 placed so far)
Arcane Tree - Focused Mind 5/5 Dazzle 1/1 Wizard's Spirit 1 Blinkstep 3/3 Mind Race 3/3 Malicious Intent 3/3 Arcane Pulse 1/1
Then use Arcane Pulse/Shadow Shot into Explosive Shot every 3-5 seconds and use Blinkstep to get out of trouble.
If you want to grind and make this build broken then go into Gladiator Tree Fortify 3/3 Recovery 5/5 Terrifying Shout 3/3 Aftermath 3/3 Life Steal 3/3 Battle Aura 1/1
Make sure to save before being sent to East to kill the Gate cause once you finish the game you can't continue unless you begin from last save.

Quite fun, however I played a ranger all the way until the Inn ambush. Didn't seem possible to do even with level matching those enemies. Respec'd to almost pure warrior, with points in the assassin crit. Last boss was laughable. Bash --> move, Bash --> move. Took like no damage

Yay, I load the game and try to continue the quest to kill Gate Sorcerors and what? They are nowhere to be found and only left their minions. Time to reload the game I guess?

great for bosses (Get Dazzle and slow with crossbow or wand) first slow then keep attacking him until he gets close, then use dazzle, run to other side of screen and repeat process.

so the equipment is all screwy, the quests arent in order, the music is stolen... oh, and the graphics are weak. But besides that, it was an ok game.

Way too easy. Health regen made it so the only time I died was when I tanked ALL the enemies spawned by last gate without killing any.

if you die it play a few seconds of a Disturbed song called Darkness....probably one of the few songs that is actually calm and sad :T

Misterjds, all months have 28 days, the question was "how many months have 28 days?", not "how many months have ONLY 28 days?".

With the riddles, if they involve numbers, you should specify if you need to type the number or to spell it out. The first riddle asked how many months have 28 days, I put 1 and it was incorrect. I didn't know I had to spell out one.

dear djugan the leg equip named "the rampart defender" has the pic of a sword so i you equip it the hero has to walk around in underpants and you have to equip it because when you get it its the bet you have... so pls ... give the hero cooler underpants :)

In order to easily close the final gate, I found it best to stack skill tree on wanderer & focus on personal speed & the Slow attack (Natures Grasp) to keep last baddie from touching you. If you kill the oncoming onslaughts one group at a time, with the occasional shadow shot on the gate to transport all baddies away from you... by the time you get through the waves the gate dies & it is just you and the final boss. Try a handful of potions & using heal every time it runs out. GL ;o)

Wow... just wow. Excellent game, has a WONDERFUL storyline, and is overall really good. The game was very long and the final boss was hard, but it was an excellent game. 5/5 and favorited.

Needs a keyboard shortcut to change weapons, or at least to pause while in the character screen. Otherwise, very good.

That "How many months have 28 days" riddle is very tricky... I answered it and 5 seconds later I knew why I was wrong...

When I was tasked with getting the petals of the blue flower, I got to the screen with all of the void monsters and said "Holy sh*t.. There is no way I can beat all of them." So I navigated through them, trying not to touch them more than necessary, walked over the flower, got the petal, and just walked right out. That was easy!

Best combination of talents (takes a while to get): fortify, recovery, 2 points in warrior spirit, aftermath, life steal, battle aura, killing spree, anticipation, dead eye, soul link, sylvan touch, scorch, focused mind, 3 points in wizard spirit, energy nova, mind race, malicious intent.
with this, use a wand and spam the scorch attack and energy nova if facing more than 1 enemy, if starting to get damaged use sylvan touch. this will win you every battle incredibly easily

Great game! I had a save issue so I had to complete in one sitting (about two and a half hours). Not sure if I would have solved the riddles without help from previous comments. Love the level up system and skill trees. 4/5
