@End_of_Legions: Starcraft 1 isn't "lesser known" or "now pretty big cuz of 2", Starcraft was a blockbuster on its own merits. It was the best selling game of its release year, and sold almost 10 million copies overall.

Good idea, but incredibly harsh... I hate how we have the put "Star wars the force unleashed" instead of just the force unleashed... And some of these games i've never heard of or even seen before, and I game, both retro and modern a fair bit...

Great game, I even saw some of the lesser known games, like Starcraft 1, which is now pretty big cuz of 2. I got 7925.
Also, when you hit skip, the timer keeps on going... is that supposed to happen?

Here's a tip: when comparing what is typed with the answer, strip out all punctuation... Also, depending on how easy you want to make it, strip out the numbers. Allow for abbreviations: e.g. BROS for BROTHERS, etc.

Bible Adventures is not accepted with a space, but is accepted without a space, even though the hint has a space between the two words.
What kind of a hint is "A crappy game people love"? That doesn't tell me anything about the game...

this game does not load in my browser(s). the other games in kongregate do, not this one. can you fix it? im not sure why this certain game does not load

I noticed some new games, including Civilization 4, which I was really hoping would be added. Awesome!
A bunch of issues have been fixed, but there are still few little tidbits, like "ask your corean friend." for a Starcraft screenshot. I'd actually like it to be more specific when naming sequels and have a little note on the starting screen to tell people not to use Roman numerals. For example, a Halo 2 box art simply accepts Halo as an answer, but a Halo 3 screenshot does not. A Fallout 2 screenshot accepts only Fallout 2 but Fallout 3 art accepts simply Fallout. Needs a tad more consistency. Other than that I love this game because I'm better at it than all my friends. xD

The names were a bit inconsistent, some just needing the series' name, like Zelda, while others you have to identify the game, like most of Mario's titles (granted, however, differing between Zelda titles is harder than Mario titles). There is also a screen of World of Warcraft that accepts 'WOW', while another needs the full name typed out. As well, there were a few movie-based titles that could be named by the character shown (i.e. Batman, Hulk, Incredibles, Alladin), with no knowledge of the game.
However, I caught Iji and VVVVVV, which instantly earns my full respect. Gitaroo Man was nice to see as well.

My gripes with this game are (take this as constructive criticism): 1) Not nearly enough games portrayed (especially lacks material from the genesis era which I grew up on). 2) Some games are too common or too obscure. 3) Some games have multiple screens for the same game. 4) Being too lax on some game titles answers while being more strict on others. Examples: Final Fantasy 7 and FF7 both work, maybe with spaces and roman numerals also, while a "mass game" like World of Warcraft doesn't work as acronym "WoW". You can also get nearly every zelda game correct with "Zelda", but for example Twilight Princess you had to type it in. 5) Music and sound effects should be muteable and music should loop.

The game should stop when you play through all the screenshots. I was around level 440 and 130000 points when it started repeating games.

Also btw the only reason why I knew the answer to final fantasy 7 [the 7 part in particular] was because I've seen a video on Newgrounds-One of the Brawl Taunts series-"Things you'll never hear in brawl" or sothg like that...

Ridiculous difficulty...btw it's blue VERSION, not JUST blue! [pokemon games]-can't name 3/4 of what it threw at me, cuz half are "classics", and the others are unknowns!

Good game. People just complain too much. Got to lv 80 something without a problem on my 3rd try. Good reminder of oldschool games and what we've evolved (and maybe devolved) from. 4/5. Just fix some game names. I noticed some were off.

ridiculously bad, you took a great idea and manifested as one of the worst games I have ever played on Kong. No answer given when you lose (even when you are sure you have the right answer), misplaced spaces, wording everything sucks, i must be in a bad mood cause I wanna say I hate you and hope you never make another game 0/5

Some of the hints are pretty vague. One I saw was "probably the most critically acclaimed game on (whatever the console was... I think NES)". Although I grew up in the era, I can't remember every game I played. Needed a little more of a push since I was wasting a hint. Pretty cool though. Brings back memories. Was nice to see my avatar as one of the game pictures! ^^ Love old-school adventures.

74000 points and level 300 before I stopped
Yeah. You can never tell if you want the specific game or series. A screenshot of Mega Man fighting Splash Woman took "Mega Man 9", but an extreme close-up of Quick Man wouldn't take "Mega Man 2", and then Mega Man X would only take "MegaMan X" without the space, which is wrong. Things like that. Also, the music doesn't loop. And make it harder. Burger Time.

I have a few problems with this that are very simple.
1: Fallout =/= Fallout 3, are you insane? Why would you assume that people know which Fallout game it was! It was a picture of The Vault-Tec Kid! (by the way I only put in Fallout instead of 3 to test this, I knew the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. book, that was the picture from the Charisma one right?)
2: Final Fantasy Seven =/= Final Fantasy 7 (better yet VII)...
3: LBP was in the second difficulty level o-O (not really a problem, but o-O)
4: Leave subtitles out of it, I'm only now realizing why I had to skip Pheonix Wright
5: Slightly more defining screenies maybe? (see 1, had it been a picture of, say, the door to vault 101 it would have worked)
