the plasma cannon is the best all around weapon...if you are a maze maker make your maze out of the 50 point stone blocks itc cheaper then just build a bunch of plasma cannons all over (make sure to leave space between the maze walls duh) and have 2 heavy cannons and 2 fully upgraded lasers(ground) on the base with 5 fully upgraded flak cannons and 4 fully upgraded missle launchers and you will make it to atleast round 200 (depending on how well you make your maze) btw i for got to add this stratagey is for my little fortress which ou should also just put a stone on of of the 2 one square entrances so you only have 2 cover one path

Don't like the inevitable defeat. It just means that no matter how well you do, you'll always lose eventually, which isn't a fun concept.

old game, but nice to see it on here. dont see why people complain about toughness, its really pritty easy... just basic tower defence tactics and correct placement of towers etc and you can get far =]

To easy for an expert at TD... and I'd probably recommend Desktop Tower Defense over this for a beginner. The basic towers in DTD are much cheaper than this game, which makes it quicker and easier to start experimenting with mazes.

If this game is over a year old then gameplay comments probably aren't read, but still: Close, but this interpretation needs just a little something new. The production values are top-notch but there's not enough new features to make it very memorable. Some things I'd like to see in a TD some day...aimable turrets, elevation bonus/penalties, towers that move.

Okay, this game is supposed to be absed on a maze idea, but I made it to wave 99 without even making a maze. I just used a choke point and pulse emitters.

I'm with zackjackel, this is terrible. Guns cost huge amounts of money and aren't terribly effective. I only survived the first boss because it didn't auto-kill my base.

Cool game.
Nice feature with the manual targeting.
You should be allowed to call in more waves at the same time though, otherwise it get a little boring.

Great art style and the openness of the field feels really good. But having the cool map having pillars and approaches is ruined by allowing wall blocks to be built. That just turns it back in to a normal TD.

92,985 - wave 146 first try. There are a few major problems. Since it becomes a maze-based TD you need to penalize the selling of towers a bit more. Anyone decent at juggling can endlessly juggle with the right kind of maze because you can instantly sell a tower and build a new one with no warm-up time. The normal mode should be more fast-paced as well (faster enemies with either more powerful shots or lower health) that would prevent so many enemies being on screen at once with lag. Solid effort though, I like the nuke and E.M.P. ideas. I give 4/5 but that's a bit generous, just needs some simple fixes.

ok well i was reading what some of the other comments were (SOME since i have a tiny attention span) and people are saying that the game is stolen right? well the way i see it is that thats the point of kongregate, for games from other sites get put here and here there are achivments so it makes the game better and people want to play it more. i don't go to any other sites so i don't know if the game really is stolen but i think that the original owner should aprove that it be put on other sites. either in the game or on the original site.

You've got to remember that (some people) are just simple farmers. These are people of the land. The common clay of the new West. You know... morons. :)
(you actually do have, like six additional modes that'd qualify for someone looking for a cheat mode. I think you're a gentleman and a scholar for not pointing that out to some (cough*cough*) people. Teaching pigs to sing and all that.
