The idea of this game is so awesome, and I really really want to like it, but the lag that I have experienced is a seriously ratings letdown for me.

Brilliant game! For those of you wondering what the heck micro time trial is, there's a spring facing the right at the beginning of the game, with a small board that shows a score. When you jump on it, it sends you to a pace with yellow squiggles which you must collect in the right order. If you fall, you have to start all over again. But don't worry, it's not a very long course :) Good luck!

For all those that got over the 500,000 in challenge mode but didn't get the badge, do this: DO NOT exit through the door. Let the countdown timer reach zero. I got 800k on my first go in the challenge mode then exited through the door with time to spare, but it didn't give me the badge. Second go around, I got 700k and I was struggling to get to the door when I ran out of time, then it gave me the badge.

For the people commenting saying "OMG GLITCH, IF YOU PRESS THE 0 IT GOES WHITE!!!" Let me let you in on a little secret.
This is actually intentional, Brad has all the numbers linked to different parts of the game to he can get to them fast. He just forgot to take them out for this public demo. If you press "9" You'll go to the secret squiggle hills, "8" : The Science room, and "1" will lead you back to the start. all the other numbers are linked to locations in the game that were not released for public testing.

Vexingly enough, this lags so much that the character may fall through the floor or his porch and die, not to mention how difficult play in general becomes.

Just to note, you need to score 300 or LESS in the time trial. Anything above 300 and you won't get the partial completion. TIP: Try jumping a bit early to eliminate any chance of having to backtrack.

Game does not even work for me. I can't even move, as the game does that all on it's own. I have refreshed the page several times and it just glitches out every time.

so i made it all the way through, even on the return to squigglyville screen. beat medium badge and got credit but still wont give me the easy badge for completion. any ideas why?

To complete the medium badge, you have to use the spring just outside the house and collect all the yellow squiggles in under 300 seconds. Spread the word.

There are 331 squiggles. To enter the secret Squiggle Hill you have to roll, NOT slide, on the inclined platform near the "That way" sign, then wall-run and wall-jump to reach the platform with a door. Open the door and you will find the secret Squiggle Hill! + so everybody can see ;)

Paralytic levels of lag, and I keep somehow falling straight through the ground as soon as I step off the porch. Oh, and because the mute button is presumably on the pause screen, and the only means of *getting* the pause screen is to talk to the dweeby-looking guy in the top hat and suspenders (who I can't reach due to the invisible bottomless pit at the foot of the stairs), I'm forced to listen to the repetitive soundtrack, obnoxious sound effects, and that 'wah-wah-wah-waaah' bit that plays when the game invariably kills me in my attempts to shut it up.

Yeah the badge isn't working for me either. I have completed the 500.000 point challenge and made a score of 298 on the micro time challenge. But nothing so far.

I love this game so much, but what made the original fancy pants so fun was being able to gain super speed and keep on running. Sort of like sonic the hedgehog games. In this one we are forced to go slow and hunt down the squiggles instead of just blasting through them with the fun fun speed that we had in the first one.

Just a tip for the future; when I mute something I don't want it to make any noise, so when the music goes and the sfx stay then it is sort of pointless, you see?

I just bought FPA... Great game, but it kinda sucks it's gonna be on flash too, I worry it's going to make me regret my purchase... Oh well, still great game though.

The game combines elements of classic platformers from days of old;sonic style speed, super mario 64 exploration and playground-like levels, and a playful atmosphere (don't touch any keys for a minute or so). One of the best platformers out there, in any format.

If you aren't getting the medium badge, don't exit the challenge level. If you do, your score won't be counted. Just let the time run out. Too bad that only a few people will see this...

Seriously, this is like what the 4th or 5th of these games and it STILL has the damn sticky keyboard bug? These games would probably be awesome if the controls didn't make them completely unplayable.

super laggy, can't play. the game opens, i try to jump..i die. i try to move right, i get down the stairs and i die. i got as far as the mayor but couldn't get myself to stop moving at a place that matched up to anything in the game. done. not worth trying to get the BOTD

For anyone having trouble with the For Science! Badge:
1. Jump on the second trampoline from where you start, and collect all the gold items as fast as possible, if the score under the trampoline when you finish isn't below 300 - retry.
2. Go to the challenge room(located under ground after the second building), and keep doing tricks until it automatically ends the challenge. Just run around doing backflips and sliding to keep the combo like Tony Hawk to get the 500k score, and there you have it, you're done.

1/5 for the ridiculously imprecise controls and the way that it just falls through a platform if the character intersected it as it was jumping up.

Regrettably, the FPA games now are a sack of lag and horribly bugs that chases the gameplay and makes IMPOSSIBLE to playing it and the best decision is taking an achievement from this game and making it the Badge of the Day. Really? One less chance to win the kongpanion too.

Maybe I'm strange but ... I never liked this game, I found that the controls lack of precision. I'm a Super Mario fan, and I never liked Sonic ... maybe that's the point.

For anyone trying to figure out what to do for BOTD, micro time trial is the mini game right outside the house, jump on the spring and collect all of the gold/yellow items in under 300. The 500k points one is in a door at the bottom of the third big building, just do lots of tricks and Do Not leave the area through the door!
