Under rating threshold (show) A points/upgrade system for completing levels and maps would be tremendous. The ability to upgrade certain buildings (Sniper Tower Range/Accuracy, Survivor speed or carrying amount, ect.) would add tremendous replay value to a game that already has a great replay value. Great game and vote this up if you agree.

Under rating threshold (show) On a more constructive note, having buttons to gather specific resources would be nice. That way, I can put my survivors near the resource gathering areas and keep the ammo near my towers.

Under rating threshold (show) The gather resources is buggy or ruins the game sometimes. when you gather resources, people gather too and sometimes a gun outpost far away is understaff becasue the extra people gather at the gather resource point

Under rating threshold (show) abandoning a structure gets all the resources back. Treat this like an actual war. in war, you try to shorten supply lines. So as you hop forward, destroy old buildings, so the resources arent all over the place.

Under rating threshold (show) I've been playing for a while and I have to admit that it does get slow at some points. I really wish the AI was better. They act just retarded when near zombies (though I guess that makes it more realistic). I also wish that there was a way to actually assault the zombies instead of having to get them to come to you.

Under rating threshold (show) Ryan, have you even tried Quartermaster Difficulty? 1) Not going to happen. These are civilians, not soldiers, and don't want to be near zombies. 2) Honestly, the game is hard enough as is without worrying about proprietary ammo types. 3) Get real, seriously. Zombies like that would mince you. 4) Hero's? Nobody wants a hero, they just want to survive. 5) NO. FoW won't let you plan ahead, and if you don't plan ahead, your dead. You already don't know how many zombies are in a building, just relative amounts. 6) And where do you find weapons like that in rural towns? This isn't Rainbow 6!

Under rating threshold (show) With quartermaster levels, you often need to make do with low accuracy snipers. What you should not do however is have 1 man for 1 sniper. Staff your snipers with at least 5 people to have a decent chance at hitting. Find a good spot on the map and make a bulwark, if possible. Take out one bridge ASAP. I just clear the way, then make a line of 0 resource depots leading to the blast area, then demo it all and return to the bulwark. After taking the second bridge, you need to expand your defenses. Take some time and sweep your corner of the map, so your not attacked from behind. Do NOT try to salvage everything. If you see a Church on the map, salvage it ASAP. It will make life much easier once you do.

Under rating threshold (show) It would be nice if the 9 people in the depot next to the sniper tower brought it the ammo it needs, this is a serious glitch that needs to be fixed. Either there are really no people in the depot or a bug causes them to stay in the building. Here's the situation: Depot Queue: 30 ammo, 50 wood, 1 survivor Actual Materials: 171 ammo 124 wood 9 survivors Sniper Queue: 20 ammo, 1 Survivor Actual Materials: 0 ammo, 0 Survivors Why are the people in the depot just sitting in there? is there some kind of hidden bar function in the depots where every now and then the survivors get drunk and incapable of bringing ammo 2 squares away? Also the survivors dont always take the shortest route, i am often forced to flee depots in order to force survivors to take the shortest route. this game would be perfect if these minor bugs were fixed, plus if you agree and think these bugs should be adjusted

Under rating threshold (show) For those of you having troubles with Quartermaster level here are few tips. 0. One high accuracy sniper is better than two low accuracy snipers. 1. Build a stronghold (4 Snipers at the beginning 6 later on) in the middle of the map. 2. Expand toward a bridge. After taking down the bridge withdraw from that area completely. Do not leave resourcs, snipers behind. There will be no battle in that area and any resource you leave behind will stay idle. 3. Do not try to scavange every resource. It takes too much time and as time passes the number of zomibes for wave increases. You will never run out of resources until almost the end of the game. Take what you can and evacuate quickly. The larger your base size is, more vulnerable you are. 4. After taking down the second bridge, use barricades accordingly wave numbers will be large and open snipers won't be able to handle the wave. Strong one layer of barricade is much better than weak multiple layers of barricades.

As for all of you suggesting commandos, There are civilians for the most part. Who could provide them with training beyond using a hunting rifle?

Under rating threshold (show) Great concept but it could use some polish; especially, your minions are STUPID and just mill around when their buildings collapse, or will go somewhere dumb when you need a turret built. Second, having a unit with a gun that walks but with a shorter range would be great. Finally, it'd be nice to upgrade turrets to different weapons too; short range shotguns and AOE Molotovs.

Under rating threshold (show) Suggestion: Don't add 1 survivor to the available ones until they've fully cleared the workshop (or you set the quota to zero). At the moment, they become "available" once they start bringing back their first set of supplies, which doesn't make them available at all.

Under rating threshold (show) Perhaps, in a sequel, there could be some improvements. Not something like zombies re-spawning, or another unrealistic concept similar to that, but something. Perhaps the graphics could be tweaked, and the corpses of zombies could stay on the ground after being killed? I don't know... something simple like that.

Under rating threshold (show) If you were to make another version. Take away the snipe tower. Replace with an armory or something. So you can train some sort of defending squad and an assault squad for clearing buildings. So you could position defending squads behind barricades and be able to move them around the place. However they would probably have to have a max ammo cap. Perhaps they will have to go backwards and forwards between an depot for ammo. That would be good. Definitely need more map pieces too for your next time you re-make this? Just an idea. Mainland maps?? More mission maps? Will be possible to expand on this. Better Ai if possible, just to fix ammo ferrying and stuff... well if that does happen. Perhaps a box in map editor to say for this area to spawn Zombies, of course... figure how to make that work out. ^^
