I'd like to see a more establishhed campaign. The current 'campaign' consists of 3 tutorial missions and 2 difficult missions.

Moving supplies should be easier. It says I have like 200 bullets, but the people don't transport them to the sniper towers like they should
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I wish i could create soldiers, say by constructing a barracks, and heve the soldiers be commanded to run out and shoot the zombiez, rather than have my structures slowely "walk" towards the zombies.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
an Idea for a new tower could be a Molotov tower, Add a new resource like fuel that could be used for this splash damage tower or to "power" industrial towers that could do things like make wood or bullets.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
there really should be a search and find button so if you want a map you just type in the name of the map and volla!it is there

An excelent game I.M.O. the best way to describe this genre would be "Roaming R.T.S" has a small learning curve and an original play style. 2 thumbs way up! I LOVE THIS GAME!!!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
After my survivors have been spooked by a zombie, they don't return to work. They just stand there, wave after wave, as the zombies swarm around them.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
love..it! but its too sort on the campain also the survivors have a bit of a problem the can only carry 10 of 1 resource at a time no less no more so they have a tendancy to give too much also needs a Shaterd colony 3 I say 3 as there are already plans for a number 2 and this idea is better off for a number 3 or special
make it so its like a protect the base were you start off with a base in the middle and a HUGE town around you but make it so after a amoutn of time a huge hoard of zombies come out and in and try to attack you or stop were ever then after a large amount of time send in a MASSIVE wave that is meant to restock buildings and knock out your suply lines and stuff
maybe this is more of a sandbox then a game

hoemaco: Two answers to a couple of your points. Barricades can have wood in excess of their needs, and this is counted as wood in supply, even if they don't have a multiple of 10 that your workers can go gather (or if they are out of range). Ammo in sniper towers works the same.
On worker logic, workers may be in a structure, but they are not stored there the way wood or ammo usually is. They are an independent data object... My observations make me think they tend to run to the oldest depo in range when carrying goods, and the oldest depo you have when unassigned. And when the game looks to assign workers to structures, it starts with the oldest workers, not the closest workers.
So, keep your depo count down. To empty a depo, assign workers to it - 12 is a reasonable number - set the quotas to zero, and then have the depo you want stuff moved towards summon stuff. Repeat the summons until the sending depo is empty. Then, destroy the empty depo, don't keep it around.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
And if I have to set the survivor quota of a depot higher to make them work, that's very annyoning as well (as you also have to set the workshop etc quota up so it's doing it twice)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Supply has other problems as well:
- I have a depot (with survivor quota of 3) that has currently 10 survivors. I build 5 workshops in its range. Do at least 5 survivors go out working them? No. 1-2 survivors go to work, the others stay in the depot, and after some time, they went to another depot (also with low quota), to continue doing nothing. Bah.
It's also very problematic to move supplies towards the front lines from the back. Even though I set the back depots' quotas to zero, stuff won't necessarily advance to depots needing them.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The status bar says I have 130 wood. But in all of my depots, I only have a sum of 60 wood. Where is the rest kept? And why is some of my depots having a shortage of woods?
I think it's caused by the large amount of wood I started the map with, it doesn't get put into any warehouse and is thus kind of lost. Annoying.

An absolutely terrific game. I would love to see a sequel for this, perhaps with a tech tree to unlock different towers, and other buildings that generate more survivors/ammo/wood. Only downsides, in my opinion, to the game are the graphics and the short campaign. But with as entertaining as the game was, I couldn't possibly hold it against you.

"StraightAways" is doable. Just go through the middle towards the bridges. Build one sniper nest after another on the sideways so you 8-10 active when the horde comes. Lure zombies out of the house by a sniper nest a few blocks ahead that gets the order to stop shooting when too many zombies go for a walk. Work with full nests only because ammo can be sparse at times when you stock up too much in nests that are not shooting. Getting ammo early when houses are abandoned helps. Dismantle all nests that don´t shoot to the end of the other side of your "fort" and fight through to destroy the bridges. After that the upper and lower road is a piece og cake.

The combat approach gets ridiculosly easy, you just need enough ammo, wood, and 11 survivors. Max the tower, upgrades, survivors, and put ammo storage to 100. That way it will have 100% accuracy and does not rely alot on refills. The extra range is even more dangerous, as it can kill targets very far away. It cannot get overrun, because it starts shooting from such a distance that 100 zombies will become zero halfway through. Too easy, even for Quatermaster difficulty.

i love how random houses will have ammo. i mean "honey the zombies are here remember that ammo we had back at the house could you go be a doll and get that for me, yes I know its living hell out there... thanks baby"

If anyone has any tips to tackle the "StraightAways" map (hard maps)... SHARE THEM!! :-)
I'm getting annoyed not being able to complete it! (rate up if you want this as well)

well more towers would be nice the sniper tower really limits my options for combat aproch. and i also could you a more constant soure of ammo and wood, maybe a scrapyard. although the resources there maybe almost infinet but is only limited to one survivour to collect resources there and also maybe a flame thrower tower would be nice for the tightly bunched zombies that uses petrol as ammo. that can be aquired form a gas station. also more towers would give more ways to aproch bridges or areas with high numbers of zombies.

Good game but a few big gamebreakers - Having more survivors in a depot uses them as a resource, meaning you can't use them for things like workshops nearby that depot, fix it so they're not used as a resource when they're clearly not doing anything.

To whoever created the Map "Nanasisan": It is by far the hardest map that I have played. Nearly impossible to beat. That´s what makes it fun. But there is simply not enough ammunition available. The waves every 2.30 are huge and it is really frustrating to approach the final bridges and run out of ammo.....Add at least 1000 bullets or more, or tell me what strategy will make this map beatable.

really great idea with supply network but its flawed i had 5 depos within a hexagon shape and the survors went in a cricle instead of straight to the one i wanted

Whoah! Someone mentioned Multiplay! That's a GREAT IDEA! This game would ROCK with Multiplayer!!!
You don't even need to change anything, just make it multiplayer and this version's it's replayability will increase 100x! (Please Rate up if you agree!)

I've been playin' on Kongregate for quite some time now, around 2 years I'd say. I have never felt the need to register until now. I wanted to register just to thank you for the amazing game you've created. I hope you work with it and either make a sequel or develop this one further. A few small issues have been mentioned, and I agree with some, but all-in-all, an awesome game. 5/5
Thank you!

wtf is with this: so often I build a sniper's tower then quickly staff it and give it ammo (I can see it in the supplies) and the thing won't shoot. Really sucks in a pinch when the zombies are almost at it. The game's fun but I feel like I'm being lied to in terms of supplies.

when a turret gets destroyed, the survivors always run in random directions towards the zombies or stay still until they're eaten.. they should run to the next building or turrest asap. Just a little suggestion
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This games is awesome, a bit too easy for badges though, loads of more (and more difficult) maps and badges would be sweet, right? :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Really really love this game! Bug: When you point at "boards left" it says "survivors left"... Can't wait for the sequel!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
You could have an option of creating an armory, were you can create a team of 5 survivours armed with submacineguns and shotguns (randomly given out) that would follow your command (or patrol the area)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
can this game got any multi-play.. multi-play are more fun because we help each other for surviving and destroy damn bridge and zombies OR one or more player's teams for zombie and
survivor.. that good for challenging vs over zombies. RATE UP IF YOU LIKE THIS IDEA. :)

Can this game has some new types of weapon in defense barriers. Well this is fun but more fun when has full type of defense weapons and new zombie type ( like L4D). Which have to be more fun.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I say its a great game but I think the people need weapons, there should be more defenses you can build, and the zombies have should have different types. Its still a great game thumbs-up :)
