WTF I completed the game on my third run... Second run best floor was 26, third went all the way up to 80, just got myself MP regen (13) and heal, was enough to complete game

I hate this game, like wow is it stupid. i despise that when you leave, you lose almost everything because non artifacts just vanish, and its not like they are very common. and i've gotten artifacts, but all 4 of them were THE SAME PAIR OF BOOTS! WHAT DO I DO WITH 4 PAIRS OF THE EXACT SAME BOOTS!

i'm on a chromebook and i've been avoiding the hell outta this game because the image when selecting a game made it look really good (which it is) that i thought my laptop would lag A LOT but i finally decided to give it a try and NO lag, unlike with most games this good, AMAZING to play, you can't miss out on any story with the necromancer (i don't think anyway, i don't know if i missed any secret rooms but if i have at points but got a journal entry in sequence then OH MY GOD you have fixed the story missing issue with games like this) so overall AMAZING GAME

finally beat the wizard, holy hell he was hard!! tip for any newcomers, make sure to hoard health and mana potions and unlock the heal spell. thats what got me through the fight

If anyone's having trouble, first build into Attack and skill up in the Attack/Defense/Exp tree. Then while building into Defense; get Heal, Flamestrike, Transmute, Telekinesis in order.
When you start acquiring Viscous Goop and Fractal Cabbages, forge (once every 5 levels) your items with them to get mana/hp regeneration. Troll Poop and Blue Berries provide even better regens. Once in a while, using Decimate or elemental attack modifiers can be of help. Whenever you reach a forge, check the best possible equipment and transmute if needed. Sell the rest of your items for health and mana potions, hp/mana regen materials. Ration your heals according to the hp you get from heals and mana from kills. Recover mana and hp from mobs that deal less damage than you recover (this is why you need to build into defense when getting heal skills). Use Flamestrike to kill mobs that might land another hit for significant damage otherwise (which makes Flamestrike better than Heal for sustain).

I've discovered a minor glitch; I occasionally run into the same tile as an enemy I'm attacking as I'm escaping battle, by clicking that tile. It affects your placement, allowing you to move normally from a space the enemy still occupies. It's not 100% effective. Just letting you know.

Firefox no longer saves Flash game data unless you force it to. Google "Firefox won't save flash game data solution" and you'll find a solution! Cheers!

Bug: If you click on a staircase, then select "no" and remain on the level, the staircase disappears from the map in the upper-right (but not the main play area). It can still be used, but you can't use the area map to locate it.

I'm having some trouble saving my game. I'll hit save and when I come back, it's just gone and I'm down 20 floors with cruddy gear :/

PS: great story and I like how much time you put into this to make it a very good game, keep up the great work!
