OK..so it's not quite as bad as I first though..it's still..not good, but I was too harsh. The directions are horrible. They make it seem like if ANY tanks touch it's over. It's only when a specific kind (the one with the X in the middle) of the opposite colors hit each other. Still can't say I'm a fan.

Wow..this..sucks. Possibly the hardest medium ever. The vehicles move so quickly in relation to how long it takes to get off shots. Reload time makes it worse. How am I supposed to stop them from hitting each other when 1.They take multiple shots to destroy. 2. They get bounced around when you hit them. 3. You don't have enough ANYTHING . Enough time, enough energy, enough stability. You don't have anything you need to pull it out of "f.uck you, I f.ucking hate this horrible/stupidly unfair" level of games. I hope dz2001 either got much better..or never made another game because this is horrible.

Now that was annoying. Playing rush mode and got the black hole power up, placed it, and when it went off, I lost. Seems like a vehicle went past so fast that I couldn't see it.

Decided to play this again after who-knows-how-long. Made it to wave 20. I have no idea how I managed to get past this level previously... GOOD LORD is it hilarious though. "Don't touch don't touch don't touch oh nooooooooooo*BLAM*"

the worst part about the "do not collide" vehicles is that they often contact the opposite vehicle while the other isn't even on the screen yet.

hey, can you please make an option where you can just 1 click the launch? because my mouse is for some reason unable to remain holded down.

Most annoying thing ever is how if ONE of those little nuke trucks gets sent flying across the screen, it's game over. no way to stop them because they're going too fast for the game to know you click them.

10,000 points scored – Did you know? Experimentation with antimatter could lead to the complete destruction of our universe. Awesome. ermmmm... lol? :D

I really love the MMM series and I think you (the developer) have done an excellent job on it. However, some things in the game do not make sense. I've also run into things that hinder me although I have no control over those things and have no way to counter-act them.
For example, often times (level 25) a nuke truck will explode somewhere on screen and about 45% of those explosions kill me. Part of that percentage comes from the nuke truck blowing up on top of me. Sometimes it's because I was stupid and let them get too close. Most of the time the truck is no where near me! The shockwave BARELY touches my launcher and I die from it. WHAT??? Please, learn from this

Wow. It took a lot of pain and anguish but I FINALLY beat the last four levels. The difficulty curve is insane. I like this game now that I have gotten its quirks down, but wow. WOW. From the time it was botd it took me NINE DAYS to do FOUR LEVELS. Also lol is level 30 ever LOUD. Blow up one of the singularity guys and its just constant crashing. I blew 3 at once and I was like "Wow is this train of death ever going to end?" And then two more appear just as the third was going out and blew up on each other starting it again. Kublai's complaint is probably the biggest complaint about this though. That was NOT my finishing run. The second singularity apparently slingshotted something I wasn't supposed to let pass across the top of the screen. I didn't even SEE it. You would basically need to be able to build a fence of towers to keep that shiz from happening.

When I first saw this I was like "Wow, finally a game purely about skill, not luck.", but then I took an energy ball to the knee.

no offense but do you morons rly think their gonna change this game? they already made part 3 and 4. But then again this is still the best one they got

Full of bugs (why does it pick random stupid start points for each level when you re-try? why does it sometimes get stuck in the "firing" animation and stop letting you take any shots for the whole level? why are the collision ranges wrong for half the animations?) and terrible control system. 1/5

Okay, you really should have made the game remember your upgrade distribution for Crossfire Mode. Reassigning 60 skill points each time you die because a shockwave mashes two of those cars together is just not fun..... ANYWAYS, my advice for the game: Gravity Manipulator level 2 (needed against the smaller absorber cars that explode) and Shockwave are the only skills that are worth it (and they're needed!!), Gravity Trap is useful in the late game (wave 25+), and the most useful projectiles are 2nd (low energy cost) and 4th (highly destructive), the others are worthless (ESPECIALLY the third). Apparently the next ones have such high instability and a reload time for all 4 high-tier balls that it's barely ever truly effective, even then the 7th projectile would have been the most useful but as I said, too high cost. I had around 20 stability upgrade and 25 energy, though Implosion would have been useful - I should have got that instead of the Shockwave Tower.

Addendum to my earlier comment - since repeating levels multiple times with no reward is par for this game, it needs to remember where you put the position of the launcher. I can't tell you the number of times I've been on a level, failed, clicked restart to automatically try again (because really, failure is GOING to happen, and you are NOT going to gain anything from it but frustration). Then, the level starts and O! so sorry. Launcher defaults to the left, and the enemies are coming from the left. There's no pause, there's no 'kill yourself to start over' button. Nope, you have to wait until you lose. Again. To get to the main menu and reposition the launcher.

I have a REAL problem with this game. The borders shouldn't overlap the playing field, the singularity explosion is my worst nightmare when it sends enemies FLYING by me, and you shouldn't have the power-ups under the enemies, but my biggest problem with this game is that you have to be DIRECTLY over the orb to launch it. It's not that easy on a laptop, you should fix that before anything else.
Overall? 2/5.

Dear Kongregate, please don't ever again make a BotD a hard badge on a game that states that it can run slow for people. I have yet to have the hard badge credit to me, but even if it does it will now be outside of the time for the BotD. I now feel like I've wasted the last four hours or so of my life. Thank you.

Too late for the BOTD, but some tips. Researched?, hard part late in the game, with absorbers and colliders. d9fan gave a great tip, maximize first gravity manipulator early; I did somewhere in wave 18, with 5 to both gravity+stability. Shockwave+Implosion needed. Above abilities essential for certain enemies. Strongly advise ONLY purple ball, only projectile I needed (1 point in projectile, low-energy, fast, damage). Towers unnecessary, but help (recommend only shockwave). KILL 95% of everything in early levels, KILL much as you can. AIM at weak explosive things, AVOID exploding things behind something. SAVE BEFORE SKILLPOINTS USED; must know what you are facing. AVOID using skillpoints until necessary. Don't forget that you can DAMAGE yourself from explosions+nukes. AVOID colliding 2 nuke-trucks, doubles explosion radius. Avoid EXPLODING things near you. AVOID singularity implosions early in game, get no exp. PERSEVERE, be lucky. Took me 3.5 hours, with 6 skillpoints left. Good luck.

Level 20 stopped me in my tracks. Tried two different tech points allocation and still didn't see a solution that didn't require luck. And what's with the one skill costing 6 pts while everything else is fives. That's ok for a little more challenge I guess, but lvl 20 has to be skill based with a reasonable point allocation and not just one particular allocation. I'd love someone to tell me there is a simple solution I overlooked, and tell me what it is. I didn't see any reasonable strategy.

About saving, if you don't click "Play Next Wave", then it won't auto-save, something to bear in mind if staggering saves, even if you're going to quit right away, click play next wave first before you go.

Third, wave 23, is impossible without a few abilities not on cooldown, as you get two+ waves of shot invincible enemies. Shots afaik have no effect at all other than healing them, they don't move the enemies or slow them down, so you will need GM2+, Shockwave, Navhack, etc to take them down. I had to wait for GM2 to recharge to finish them off which should happen before they make their way to your side.

Last minute quick tips for BOTD. You can't reassign skill points, so first, stagger your two manual saves so there's less chance you get stuck, the autosave stores the last upgrades configuration and wave just before you click play next wave.
Second, wave 15, gravity manipulator LV2 (or LV1 to a much lesser degree) will help a lot and you can spam shockwave up to it's cooldown, because you're using alternate ammo. The big nuke trucks you're supposed to destroy will instantly destroy your silo if they explode anywhere close and it takes a lot of damage from your own weapon, so if one gets close DON'T destroy it until you can throw it with GM2 or its far enough away.

The first 3 spells are extremely useful. I find my only trouble (aside from the random flying tank thing) was the huge red mothership, and those 3 spells are basically what you use to kill them with.
Level 30 took me 2 hours, that's really annoying -_-

I see a lot of people complaining about level 20. Level 20 sucks but WTF is up with level 29?!? It's nigh impossible, I've been stuck on it for the last hour and a half. This is easily one of the most frustrating games on the site.

i'm just trying to get video game point things for my brothers. why does the last level take five minutes and can be instantly lost when an off-screen enemy is thrown across at incredible velocities
