Level 20 is too random. One unlucky bounce and you lose. This makes the game a rather anti-climatic experience, and detracts highly for me from a game that otherwise relies heavily on skill. *Maybe it would be possible with another skill set... but going back 20 levels for that is just not worth it*.

...do not let one unit pass through! Of course, you can't really do anything about the randomly flying vehicles everywhere when there's a huge explosion, or some units die around you and you just GAME OVER it for no apparent reason whatsoever, and maybe that little red car you don't notice on the red terrain under the mountain will kill you! CHARMING.
Wow this game could have been fun, but it's ridiculously frustrating. Not to mention, you really screwed up on the point requirements of the upgrades. For all the frustration I've had during the last 3 hours for the BotD (with the flying vehicles, the last-moment Gravity Manipulation upgrade that prevented me from having to start everything all over again, and the crappily adjusted energy upgrades (You need too many!! -.-)), 1/5. Because this could have been good... but it isn't. :/

Same gripe as everyone else, but mine is with Level 23. Enemies that are immune to your main weapon are a bad design already, and inexcusable when they appear without any alternate way of defeating them.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yeah, seriously the game is okay, but level 20 is just stupid, and there's no way I'm going through all of the previous 19 levels again just to use my skill points differently. No pause button? No way to undo the skill points already used? Again, it's good, but there are too any major flaws to call it great.

Options really need to be saved along with your progress. Having to open up the options screen to turn off that migrane-inducing screenshake every time I load a game is tedious.

Easier for the hard badge:
1. Max out every ability and structure except Gravity Manipulator [second modification] and Acceleration Tower.
2. In Upgrades focus on Energy. I spent 20 on Energy, 3 on Stability and 1 on Projectile.
3. The most useful active skills are Gravity Manipulator and Implosion. Both have good effect and less cooldown.
4. In earlier levels try finish the levels with higher exp which will help getting more skillpoints.
5. Luck is important. Hope you can get more singlularity implosion.

Personally if you mess up once you pretty much done for. Theres no redo or loading last save. the game auto saves and another problem is the control.. shaky if at best 2.5/5

Ok, I read all the comments and decided to give the game a try anyways. As I went along I discovered they were right, the game's concept is awesome, but there are too many little problems for this to actually be a good game. I tried to make a list to type in a comment, but there are too many, if someone manages to fix all of those, this would be an amazing game. 3/5

one more comment from the peanut gallery... this game and it's family was created over a half a DECADE ago. the warnings hold very true for older computers around the time the first ones came out. i should know, i have some. and still use a laptop from that era.

wow, i guess the new crowd really doesn't like this game... perfectly harmless commnets are getting crapped on... anything useful also gets spammed out/voted down... >.<
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Why would you not get to keep experience from failed levels? How in the world are you ever supposed to get better - luck? Also, slingshot is way to finicky to be a primary weapon. I have a pretty darn new computer, and even on the worst graphics settings I lag making trying to launch (the hit-box is about the size of a pixel) an impossibly frustrating task.

why did kongregate choose the hard badge for this game for the badge of the day? this game is next to impossible and, like everyone else says, you rely too much on luck.

i must admit, i hate when i have 2 left and one grows wings.. or one left and it's a bloody absorbing **** with my shockwave down...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Oh OK so I guess I was supposed to get some kind of special ability to deal with these absorbent jerks, but there's no way to change that so now I've got to fight through 22 levels all over again and figure out which one of the other abilities would've worked against them. But instead of doing that I think I'll just never play this game again.

Lvl 20 was made in hell by demons. If the friggin ships even touch its game over and there is no way im doing the first 19 lvls to figure out a better upgrade set.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
actually, there's a typo every time huge shows up... i feel like the game got harder since i last played, or maybe i got worse ^_^

You just earned the Momentum Mayhem Master Badge and 30 points + 30 points for Badge of the Day! Well i digress... need too be accuarate with what you use, and know what each wave consists of
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
its got some sublime moments from time to time. needs refinement tho. you seemed to have some sort of stroke when you designed your help slide show.2/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
OK. I get it. It's like a laser slingshot. Is it so much to ask though that you simply let me click where I want to shoot? There's a reason every single other shooter ever made uses that control scheme. It works. Making me think backwards with an awkward control scheme for the sake of uniqueness does not make your game accessible.

Lvl 30, 300 seconds WAY too much luck needed... get to 140 left and next thing i know, yet again a mission fail unit flys across the screen so fast that can not even attempt to shockwave it away :/ 1/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Try getting gravity manipulator at max and shockwave at later levels!that way you can easily deal with most enemies without spending too much energy!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
made it past level 10 and
I have to say energy requirement for missles is WAYWAYWAY too high, run out of power so damn quick and can't do enough damge no matter what you do. -2 game is playable for a while then makes it's self utterly unplayable due to serious game design flaws. 1/5 on revision, how this got badges I'll never know.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
After finishing this game, you feel a great sense of relief that you finally got LUCKY enough to not have a guy go flying past you at a million miles an hour. This game is a blend of both terrible and awesome. If you want to waste an afternoon and you have a high frustration threshold play, and get ready to swear a lot.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Oh gawd, the person who made this game ACTUALLY BALANCES WORSE THAN RIOT. Never thought I'd see the day.... congratulations

level 10 is my nemesis I always blow myself up, I dislike being able to hurt oneself so easily. 3/5 less damage to self would be a 4/5 for me
