Description
An old TI-83 game I made way back when. I am aware it is a bit imbalanced, but I felt like preserving the state it was in when I left it.
Because of this, the begining is VERY HARD. Characters miss a lot, the knight and paladin only start with a 45% to hit bad guys. It grows by 2.5% every level. I might make a guide to this game, but its more of a novelty item than something that I expected people to play though. Although it CAN be completed, I have beaten it with several combinations of characters. Trick is to run from any group of enemies that are too powerful at level one (too powerful means the group includes more than one scorpion and/or trolls, and even one is pushing it).
Also a hint for getting to the castle: There are two mountains that are actually CAVE spaces that can be traveled though. There is only one pixel of difference...
How to Play
Use the mouse to click the active buttons of the calculator. The five buttons across the top select the five different options at the bottom of the screen.
If you don't like clicking buttons, they all have corresponding hot keys:
Arrow keys: Arrow calculator buttons
Enter: Enter calculator button
Space: Stat calculator button (used for viewing stats)
1-9: 1-9 on the calculator (used for quick picking of menus)
Z,X,C,V,B: Hot keys for calculator buttons across the top.
Developer Updates
Added a hints option in the menu for important information needed to finish the game.
Added hint that shows specials characters get as they level up.

Drawing out a calculator would have been a nice touch but overall the game was fun.

This brings me back to sitting in the back of the class room ignoring the teacher and just playing games on my calculator all day. Fun memories.
If the hit rate was increased and you could do more damage at first it would be a better game

Wish I could update or revise my previous comment, in any case the addition of the hints section helped a lot. I still wish I knew if any of the characters gain specials or more specials at any point, otherwise I don't know why you'd play Ninjas other than the extra starting hit chance.

I played a team of 4 dark knights to level 21 or so. I was a bit vexed that there is no way to reach the castle in the bottom right. I also didn't understand why the Dark Knights kept gaining energy but never aquired any specials to use it on. Anyway, ran out of interest in continuing past that point.
