Hm game seemed to freeze. I just leveled to lvl 2. There's a chest sitting on the screen but I can't click open. I gave my character the skill points he earned but can't do anything else. Its still in the tutorial but it's just sitting there.....

This would be one of my favorite flash games, if you removed/lessened the turn regenerate time... Whatever that was meant to achieve i don't know, but noone here really likes it. This could top the charts easy, and win you some money, but that feature is keeping it from doing that.

It takes me back, think I will pick up some old games tonite. It has some good qualities, good backgrounds, many of the classes look unique, reminds me more of a platform game than a flash. 5/5 However, the turn system...yeah that has to go, why do I have to wait to play? If the full addition doesn't have this feature than it would be a good, fun game. Since this is what it has now, I will only give a 1/5, as I do all demo type games that land here.

95 is nothing i have some 190's, to redistribute your skills/points go to guild hall and its one of the last 2 options think they have scales or something. The maintance yesterday changed a few displays and gave free turns to the members of the site that donated. A game that develops into more and more tactics and strategy as you go along. Although I suggest playing it on Edgebee's site, where the whole game content is, with more characters and bonuses.

you drag the knife to the inns keeper after you buy it. Although id keep it for awhile until you can get a better weapon theres no time limit on the quests. @soulless ninja its based on the leaderes charisma it takes 5 i think for a 4 man id suggest making leader with 7 and make sure none of party has less then 4 or they penalize leader. Also for 50 tokens you must validate your email it sends you and its your reward. Gmanglh should check the forums theres a thread to reset your flash cookies at adobe site to fix it. You cant pool money but what you can do is have any character buy an item then drag it to the character that needs it. But i wouldnt play the game here you lose alot of features id suggest playing at their official site, you get guild help (can share a vault) you receieve achievements which make your characters stronger in the long run. One more thing is that you will encounter the best items later in the game that can only be gotten by purchasing with tokens. My guess that these items will be vital to have any kind of success in the ladder matches.

I know most of the negatives because I went to the website and researched myself, which wasn't easy. Many things could not be found anywhere on the site, such as how much tokens cost. I even checked the forums. I realized the only way to find these things out was to sign up so I did. This is what I found. The cheapest deal is 1,000 tokens for 10 dollars and the best deal that cost a reasonably amount of money is 4,000 tokens for 30 dollars. I was unable to see how much turns cost without buying the tokens but was able to get an idea by looking at how much there special beginners packages cost. Roughly it was 30 dollars for 100 turns and some gold and a few medals. So if the items are 25 cents a piece as bagpuss said then the turns are around 33 cents per turn. Put them together plus the fact that you will have to continue to buy turns and items then you could possibly put a lot of money into it. $100's easy. Of course this is only for those interested in the prices.

Just to name some of the negatives that Bagpuss didn't bring up is. You generate 1 turn every 12 hours which comes out to 12 a day which you can burn through in 20 minutes. Also saving up turns is still very limited, as the cap is 48 turns. It seems as the developer has limited the game as much as possible for non-paying customers to get as many people to buy tokens as possible, although he claims is not true. Also Bagpuss said you can go as slow or as fast as you want. What is the point of going slow I ask. You can do that with any game, the only difference being if you go fast in this one your bound to enjoy yourself for 5 minutes and then be more pissed then when you started, so I guess he has a point. Go really really slow. In fact take some exlax so your forced to go to the crapper therefore prolonging the game even more and maybe if you take a 2 hour dump you just might generate 1 more turn.

agreed on both points Escheton, Bagpuss must be an employee and the game is fun. But there are things about the game that doom it from ever getting a massive following. Id be willing to bet half of the players put tons of money into it just so they can play without being limited so much.

And finally, there's another word for that "philosophy" of yours. It's called not listening to your target audience and driving people away.
I'd like to bring up once again that I would love to play this game if I didn't have to wait a a full 24 hours to get about 10 minutes of playtime.
Also, once again, premium items = no balance. Stop bullshitting about the balance stuff when you go and offer more turns and fancy items for real money. F2P games can never have balance no matter what you do. If a F2P game has premium content, there's virtually nothing you can do to make balance, especially with this game. Newbies will never catch up to veterans without paying money. Where's the balance? If someone wants to, they can spend a bunch of money and grind day in and day out. Where's the casual factor?

Also, someone with unlimited turns COULD catch up to a veteran player that didn't have unlimited turns in a smaller amount of time. Let's think for a second. I know, it's probably a bit strenuous for you, but try and stay with me here.
If you get 12 turns every 24 hours and someone has been playing for, say, 90 days, that means they have used 1080 turns. If a new player has unlimited turns, they can probably use up those 1080 turns over the course of a week, tops.
Get it? A newbie can catch up to a veteran easily if they are pathetic enough to buy more turns. Balance. Broken. Case. Closed.

As for the rest of the stuff you said, you're still managing to miss the point, somehow. This isn't about having the choice to play casually or in a more hardcore gamer fashion. This is about the developers saying the turn regeneration system is for balance, even when they say "OH BUT YOU CAN PLAY ALL THE TIME IF YOU WANT. JUST GIVE US MONEY. :)" And there can't be balance when you limit new players as much as veterans because the new players will never catch up. Please get it through your thick skull that I'm just trying to say that these people can't keep pulling the "balance" card out of their asses. It just doesn't work.

Axolotl: I have NO problems with premium content. I'm aware that companies with F2P games have to do that kind of stuff to keep above the surface and I'm 100% okay with that. What I'm NOT okay with is providing premium content that breaks reasoning behind a shit turn regeneration system. You seem to be avoiding the fact that they say the turn system is for balance and to make the game casual, but then offer more turns for money. Balance broken. Case closed.
I'm fine with offering more turns for money if they would ADMIT that the turn system can't be backed up by saying it's for time regulation or balance whenever they offer an opportunity to break that balance.

Frankly, YOU are the ones that piss me off. The developer is out to make money. While it might not be the most noble thing in the world, still, they're actually making something, and then marketing it, just like EVERY OTHER company out there. Whether or not you enjoy the system is irrelevant. They aren't bad for giving you less free gaming than you wanted, they're good for giving you any at all.
