Well, people were already leaving the game. And if the ingame chat goes down it's impossible to recruit new people if you don't play on Kong.

Nope. Never really was going to happen. The devs parted ways a couple of years ago. And one of them created Shop Heroes, which you can find here on Kong.
I, for one, don't really like it.

Edgebee stopped upgrading it almost 2 years ago. So it was never going to improve. @AaronC583, total usage has been dropping. over the last year. Most of us who played on Kongregate did so to participate in Kong chat. It is a nice little time waster.

I told myself that one day I would unlock all the items, I am sad to see that that will never happen. This game is the only reason that I ever became good at crocheting in the real world, and I have been able to make money off of my artwork. This game will always hold a very special place in my heart. I am very sad to see it go.

;( loved this game so much. Definitely a masterpiece on Kongregate if you ignore the glitches. I will always treasure the day i logged on to find 900 or 9000 daggers glitched into my inventory. Thank you for this amazing game <3.

I barely started this game, but it's a fun, peaceful game, and I'm gonna miss it when it goes... I'm not sure if I should invest myself in it any further :(

When selling 10,615 defenders it would be nice if there was a "collect all" button instead of accepting each and every trading post report

I'm gonna miss this game so much. It's just really fun and there's loads of memories I've had with it. It's so fun and creative and just...I don't know. Breaks my heart to see it go. It kind of reminds me that I'm not a kid anymore. The things we used to love gotta go sometime, I guess.

Would it be possible to unlock every building and worker before the game closes? :( I never got to play with the tinkerer or jeweler... Lovely game, sad to see it go!

Any chance you'd release the server and database files for someone else to host it? The game also has achievements-- If you take the server down, then they will become inaccessible.

Guys i agree that its depressing that the game is closing i feel sad as well dont misunderstand me but i believe that its more cruel to ask them to keep up the server longer as, their company already went defunct and theres constant server crash so the fact that they could keep the game alive this long itself is pretty hard and deserves praises...Oh man so many memories but i guess this is it guys...

I JUST started playing again after 4 years and they're closing the game? That's BS....All the time and (in some cases) real money spent on this game will ba wasted....If there is ANY way we can save this game PLEASE someone tell us and we'll do it....PLEASE do not take this game away from us....
