Badging this game should be a crime. Ask's for money for almost everything.
Can't even play much before you hit the paywall to even play.
Really disappointed in Kong for badging this money grubbing game.

In order to improve security standards Kongregate will begin serving all games securely beginning on November 13th. Unfortunately, this game will no longer function correctly due to those changes. We have reached out to the developers and hope that they will update the game before Nov. 13.
We have turned off purchasing since it is not yet clear whether it will continue functioning. If the game does have to shut down we will return kreds spent back to Oct. 13 to honor our 30 day guarantee on kreds purchases.

Hoooolly rat hole does this game cry for money or what?? I have to pay real money for every (8 hours ingame) which is like what.. 10 minutes? LOL what has happened to flash games? Too bad the game is actually fun, but I can already tell it wont hit the high roof with that ridiculous "pay to play" thing goin on... Wake up dev.. This isn't skyrim online xD
ps: pay-to-win games I really hate them but at least I understand the cheap shot, but pay-to-play? That's a bit over board haha, a whole new level maan, A WHOOOLE NEW LEVEL!!

Good game, although this DID come out after Recettear, and seems to be just a monetised version, so...well, I guess that's why everyone's complaining about this..

Don't know if that's a problem in other languages (besides english), but the german version is half in english and half in german. The languages switch randomly, and it's kind of annoying. I'd rather play the game in english than a half-baked translation.

Great game, but like everyone says the token stuff the developer is pulling is annoying, "want to play the next day? Wait 10 mins or pay real money to get a certain amount of days" you heard that right you have to repeatedly pay to access more days without having to be stuck behind the whole 10 min wait. So its not a one time payment its pay every couple of days Clearly the developer made this game to try and just make a quick buck.

Sigh same issue as Swords and Potions 2. All game data is deleted for some reason (I still have the badge progresses as proof). Really unfortunate as this really prevents old players from coming back, not that its already a dead game. Farewell EdgeBeeStudios. Was somewhat fun while it lasted.

Also hitting the edgebee.com error. Mines says it refused to connect. Don't know if new cookie policy or something based on that.

I like it, although I prefer the second one. Don't like whining but I just realized that I have to pay in order to continue playing the next day. That's something...

Dedwynde this is not garbage. This is good game but you need patience. Many people play games where there maximum you can play 1 hour per day. And they like it. This game is like other of same kind. If you want badge you should look to Swords and potions every day. I understand that there is one problem - tokens, because there are many recipes, which you may buy only for them. But I don't think that ever they change something and will game some free and easy to get tokens. So, I will play, for now only for badges, but I think that will take a while. If you think this game is bad because you want fast badge, sorry but you may try one of impossible badges and you will see that this one is easy and fun to take - take sound on, there is amazing music.

Ok well the comments about pestering for premium purchases are definitely valid. But what bothers me is that none of the fuller-figured lady shopkeepers are sexy, they are all matronly looking. :-( Thin women are nice too but how hard would it be to have the thick ones looking good too!?

Was a great game, until you run out of days, and need to pay or wait... really puts a downer on the game, an ad option would be much better!!

I prefer this to the newer one's. I do agree with the popular comments from 2011. Developer clearly didn't listen. A small group of people spend large amounts on freemium games. The rest don't spend much at all. The question is is it more lucrative to get those few big spenders, or generate consistent lower income through alternative P2P option; such as ad watching, site visiting, membership cards and, of course, waiting.
