This game reminds me of "Recettear: An item shop's tale" from 'Steam'. Except that game only costs twenty bucks and is about ten times better (and is downloadable). This game costs about five dollars an hour and I'm pretty sure losing at least once is mandatory.

If it were in the store, i'd buy it too, provided the slow pace was fixed. At least increase the days accumulated limit to 16 or so, because now the players that put games in front of sleep get all the benefits, and it shouldn't be this way. Also, something like getting a credit every game day would help easy the "credits ruin the game" problem which is currently very bad.

This is actually a very good game. If this game were in the store I'd buy it. And buy a copy for all my friends because it is so good. That way I can play as often as I like. The one "day" per hour system is going to kill this game.

I must thank Edgebee for making me wait a full hour for another single game day. I've read the forum AND the comments and found at least 100 other people who agree with me that the pay-to-play system is forced too far down our throats and really doesn't belong on Kongregate in the first place. A shame too, I really wanted to like this game.

The only thing I would actually be interested in buying is more time to play. But as it stands, that is kind of pricey. I'm definitely not going to come back every 7 hours to play. I prefer to do what I like when I like to do it. I would prefer to keep playing until I got sick of the game. I might just do that.

And if you spy on someone, you get a certain bonus for some time (the green upward arrow that appears on the upper left). Not shure what this bonus does, but maybe it is worth the Thugs salary? xD
But do N O T level him up - I have a level 1 Thug and he succeeds at 2 of 3 spionage trips, more than enough to keep that bonus constant.

Guys,DONT hire thugs unless your 15 lvl or more.Spying kinda sucks and thugs cost as much as a normal craftsmen.Only hire thugs if your money balance is good.

I thought this game would be good until i saw it was from edgebee. these guys need to get a life and stop scabbing money continuously off people itll make your game crap. 3/5

I am not sure the day limit is an issue but paying to have access to enchantered objects, or the final components really sucks.
Also, why can't my own worker improve my building ??? Why should I need others? Can I haggle more that once ...
Come on, your a merchant, haggling is never done in one pass.

I really like this game, in my opinion it has a nice twist and very good potential, I literally went to the kreds offer page for about an hour for enough to play 7 more days. but until somethings change for the better, this game will frankly suck -_- 3/5 until I see some changes.

@ Turtle & the others whining about the turn-buffer system: This system is meant for ppl that also have a real life, and cannot/don't want to compete with non stop grinding 25/7 nolifer kiddies. If you just want/have time to play half an hour a day, then this is for you - if you want more, i'd suggest some real-time MMPORG.
The possibility of funding a game by ads depends on his popularity. I suppose there are just not enough players = views per day to create enough revenue trough ads.
@ All of you whining about games not being 100% FREE:
Why do you like these games? Because they are well made.
Why are they well made? Because developers invested MUCH time.
Do game developers not need to eat? Do they like to work fro free? Do YOU like to work for free? - NOPE
The games that are 100% free are nonetheless fun, but mostly simple, small, cheap, made in little time. That is what you get for free.

You players that start the game @ Kongregate should absolutely get a carpenter: All artisans have special recipes that you can buy with tokens, but most of them need special materials that you'd have to buy with tokens afterwards, or veeery seldom can buy from adventurers. But the carpenter has 3 recipes that only need standard materials to craft.
The recipes cost 25 Tokens each, and the earnings for the items afterwards are very nice.

Okay, I know that I am not the first person to say this, and I also won't be the last. I love the gameplay, but this game would be a whole lot better if I didn't have to play in order to continuously play it. I would give it a full 5, but I can't do that under the circumstances...

@yankinapple, It's not a glitch. Relax. Some recipes, like the Iron Gauntlets, it needs blacksmith and tailor to do it. For crafting of the Iron Gauntlets, at around 36% tailor would be done with her part of the work and you can select her to craft anything.

glitch? both of my people ( blacksmith and taylor) is crafting the same recipes and are doing the same research and i cant click on the blacksmith

well this is a very great game but it suck because they are forcing u to pay if u wanna play dude some kong members are 13+ only they dont even have a credit card yet no card no kong credit how to continue playing a wonderful game ... thumb this up so the creator can update this game (hopefully)

I've read other comments and from them i learned i would like this game... but i would be annoyed by the same things and give up on it. so i just wont waste my time. sorry.
