I've lived about 30 lives on this game now. I've been doing hard resets and trying to maximize their happiness on their first life. I thought they'd be a loser, but they move out with their friends at 19, and on their own at 22. They don't have to save up for college, so they can spend money on housing. They don't have to learn anything technical, so they can afford to spend 7 hours a day doing whatever they want. You can be a Junior Developer at 22 if you go straight for it, and make about 25% more at 60. Leadership is the only useful stat for this guy. I got Getting Stuff Done to lvl 10 for the boost, but they don't feel comfortable with the extra time, so they actually only save 4 minutes a day. I almost feel guilty about all the other lives.
"You can get wisdom or money"
"Wisdom sounds like the wise idea"
*Gives wisdom*
"I should have taken the money!"
Great game 10/10

Had the game open and checked another browser window, when I came back my progress had regressed. Lost research and job progress etc. Not sure what happened there.

I got level 50 quantum mechanics before age 28, and it didn't let me join dark plateau. Are you supposed to get above level 50 to join?

@sonofBeels: the reason the negative value keeps growing is that as you lose money, you get less per day from investing, without reducing expenses, so the negative value grows.

Love the game but there's one thing: investing doesn't make sense. It should be a function of the money you have saved up, but if your net income/per day becomes negative, the NEGATIVE value keeps growing

Played the crap outta game, however, I'm kinda getting bored since it doesn't seem to have a whole lot going on. Specifically new events would be nice.

This was enjoyable for a few weeks, until I had all the achievements … There's kind of nowhere to go from there though.

Age: 66. A note in my journal has been bugging me for a while; to return the old lady's wallet. I've always said I'll do it, but over 40 years later, I still haven't. I finally decide that no, it's mine. I Keep it. Inside is a 10, which I throw in the fireplace. Also included is a picture. It's a family, they're all at least middle aged by now. Or dead. But it doesn't matter. I can't hold out many more years. They're closing in. We'll all be dead soon enough.

I truly don't understand why the game stops at the war; if it had kept going into a defense/idle strategy game, fighting off aliens as your body deteriorates and you need more and more aid to continue, upgrading your laser and defense against the invasion... This would have been a classic

Removing the market seems like a sudden change... Achievements don't really have a purpose now, and there seems to be other features that now aren't present...?

So if you go into bankruptcy and take any points out of sleep, they're auto applied to work and can't be removed. You can get yourself stuck with almost 0 energy and 0 sleep in this state. Very good stuff
