Adding on to the top comment that is talking about the tachyon currency, I think it would be better or at least more rewarding if each item like minimalism and shady pills was upgraded by levels and the cost was increased per level.

i don't think that my character understands how interest income works....
1m$ in bank, yeah man, that's a whole M, and he wants to spend about all of it, asking for a "better" home which leads to houseslave -1000$/day

You should make the screen selection (lifestyle, Job, Lab, ect.) a header so that even if you scroll down on a screen you can still switch to a different section without having to scroll back up

Awesome game with great potential. But after the first time i closed the page, the game keeps reloading to my first save.

At the age of 34, living in my mother's basement, I finally get confirmation on my claims that I am good at managing life.

Just a simple generic comment. Yugle got nerfed and that is the one way people were playing in the mid game onward to get the money for physics(the quicker you got to not having to work for the best food from interest the more along you were). The problem with nerfs in a game like this is it sets you back far enough that it takes you many transcends to get back to the power level you were before the nerf (if ever in some games). While making things easier is fine, reducing the power of things in games like this should rarely be done as it not only moves goal lines farther away, but sets players back so they can only look forward to where they were.
This was done recently in another game I was playing but far harder (hard enough that I decided I had "won" the game for a certain definition of winning and spending a month to get back to my former power level wasn't worth it)

and... can you write the efficiency of the loop trap research explicitly...? completely no idea how much level for say, 0.001, efficiency :P

What if... we had a "Freeze Time" option in which you can spend Tachyons to allow yourself to continue progressing without time passing. This would be a "Single Use" Purchase (IDK how many Tachyons doe).

@cydira the chores time on all housing is accounted for in the listof housing (so if you were expecting the four hours of chores from mansion to drop an hour, even though it would have been five hours without your cleaner you'll be let down)

unpaid intern in a mansion with a research assistant, personal secretary, full time servant, and an AI Research assistant... because I can live off the interest

Living the dream moving back into the parent's basement at age 48, hiring some guy to clean the house and living off the daily interest from the small fortune I made flipping burgers every day. Spending all day doing "research" in my "lab" in the basement. Haha! Intended or not, this game struck gold for random stories you can create out of thin air.
Can you explain more? Can't reproduce any wrong behaviour. Keep in mind that the chores time listed in the housing section already takes the cleaner into account, just in case that's the problem.

"You have no idea how many lives that servant had to endure to get to that skill level!" Um, the only thing they do is reduce chores by 5 hours, meaning I can do his job in 5 hours... So, yeah, why can't I become a servant and work 5 hours a day to get $1000 at 18?
Hmm...good point. They probably are overpaid. Although the $1000 are not income, they are cost of labor, which includes taxes, social security, ... . But still overpaid.

It's almost impossble to get the last minute in the "slacking" even though it shows 0 mins slacking, the final minute cannot be acheived even by GSD 1200 (according to chat).

At around 50 years old on my first playthrough and the cost in time/money of housing is definitely not worth it anymore, so time to move back in with mom, lol. Move back in, hire a cleaner, sleep 9 hours a day, this is great. Start cooking some fancy meals to get my energy up, because my happiness is so low. Apparently not working yourself to death for a house you can't afford makes you sad. Oh well.

Is the fast forward function meant to work for everyone or does it need to be unlocked? Can't seem to see any info about it and the shortcut/button does nothing

An interesting twist on the incremental formula, instead of trying to achieve a fixed goal in a varying time frame trying to achieve as much as possible in a fixed timeframe. How much of my real time do I have to use on this to get a groundhog for this wasted one?

a lab research which reduces how much sleep you need could be nice, maybe having it available after getting stuff done gets leveled enough would be cool

After playing it for a few hours I must firstly say that I do enjoy this game, but there are some things that I believe will improve on it.
The money system is all based on over time gain/cost. Housing has an Initial Cost but still cost money over time. Add a shop where you could buy items with money. Like a vacuum cleaner that deceases you chore time or kitchen utensils that improve your foodquality by a percentage. Right now I am saving up a lot of money, can buy a better house, but not afford the rent. Basically, one time purchases to use your over time stacked up money.
Add a bit op personal life to it. Right now it is Groundhog Career not Life. Might be able to add an event that gives you a friend, that improves your happiness. Add an tab with stats of your friends, if you neglect them they will go down, spent time on them and they increase. Or the possibility to buy a hamster/bunny/cat/dog/elephant, it wil cost you chore time, but increase your happieness by a percentage.
