I find myself wondering what kind of entitled Boomer we're playing as, who thinks being a burger flipper has any upward mobility, thinks being a CEO is the pinnacle of personal achievement, and won't be happy unless they're living in a mansion when they retire at age 60.

I realize that the developer isn't touching this anymore, but if anyone picks this up once it is open sourced, please add some content related to actual groundhogs (Marmota monax, not time travel phenomena).

the game allows you to be a copious coffee drinker for 2 months before you have to stop drinking coffee copiously. you have to wait 2 YEARS to become a copious coffee drinker again. This game is soo unrealistic. im a copious coffee drinker everyday

I just did an investment life on a hard reset. Got to lvl 10 leadership, 56 Investment. I thought maybe he could retire at 2.00 happiness a little earlier than leadership. Anyways he has 2.6mil and can't spend it because it's his source of income. He didn't get back to 1.70 happiness until age 125. His income goes up by 1 penny every day. He needs another $900/day to be at 2.00. The world needs leaders, not investors

The fast forward should have be faster, it takes over a minute to get through a single year. I just wanna start a new life because I was getting used to the controls. I can't play this game if I have to wait an eternity to die.

now i'm wondering, why do i work on the laser alone? If i can use dark plateau to build and upgrade the laser why can't i arrange scientists to help me? You know, i'm saving the world, why isn't everyone helping me?

"So, what are your qualifications?"
"I'm self-taught in advanced Quantum Mechanics by 28."
"Great, you can start working as a glorified janitor!"

I left this game open and lived to the ripe old age of 256. I don't know how long it's been, I think less than 1 week. Unfortunately I hadn't progressed much and "study skills", which I left myself researching, is now at level 40. I've spent 200+ years absolutely miserable, trying to figure out a way to get faster at learning. I don't know if this guy is worth restarting, he'll be forever scarred from his 1/4 century of abject misery in slow time and with poor health. I think non-existence is the best option for this poor idiot.

Why is it normal to live in your parents bedroom and have a cleaner at the same time in this game like are you rich or poor make up your mind

Also to add to my other comment in space you could still be chased by comets and depending on how good your ship is before you set off and escape the solar system, aswell as how much your upgrade the ship in space, you might run for longer before the commet hits you and resets you to earth, also at some point your body might give out making you learn how to be a medic on earth and develop a way to counter ageing, to try outrunning the commets.

Is the creator of this game still on this site? i got some ideas for the game. Like the whole solar system is in the loop and the center of it is earth, where you can stay the longest without the loop restarting, the event that triggers the loop to restart is the commet, or whatever it is hitting the solar system, to stop it temporarally you can destory it but there will be more, and since time slows down as the comets get closer at some point your lasers wont be able to destroy it in time and that triggers the reset, after you understand that you can join the NASA equivalent to try getting into space, where you need to grow your own food and worry about your space ship, so completely new jobs could open up like gardening, giving even less than burger flipping, but usefull, up in space (as in levels in gardening jobs get added to growing your own food job levels)
