My guys almost finished green, then decided to all turn around to walk across the map and attack yellow, leaving green to take all my undefended towns. This was a pretty fun game until that happened. 3/5 unless there's a solution to that problem.

Land Leveling Tip: Double Click 'Up' and one 'Down' Click is the same as nine small 'Up' Clicks- you get more land for your clicks!
This can even stack, so triple 'Up' click, followed by double 'down' click, followed by single 'up' click will give you massive tracts of land for only a few clicks

If anyone can share a link to a walkthrough I'd appreciate it, I'm stuck on lvl 19 and cant find any, or maybe some tips that would be helpful, thanks.

how to win: 1st run away or/then stand ground
2nd: build your land up high
3rd: mass up the mana, tidal wave the others outs
it doesnt always work but usually it does :)

Oh god...The water storm.....It destroys so much!
I used it on a level to finish off a tribe, but it destroyed half my settlements and my army! :O.
With great power, comes great responsibility....

This game is pretty cool but like a skirmish mode would definetly make it better. it makes me think of command and conquer lol

it's very cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It'd be nice to know how or why things are happening the way they are. First I can use my Terraform ability anywhere I please, then all of a sudden I can't use it anywhere. The opposing tribe across the way is creating encampments and fortifications like walls, where all my tribe is doing are making crappy little houses, and there's nothing here explaining why. If this is Populous, it's shit.

This was the most fun I've had playing a game with no badges in a long time. All the general complaints are there: I wish there was a little more difficulty, variety, but all in all, this game is the foundation for a masterpiece.

mana regen needs to be fixed. its super high when under 100, making certain skills (whirpool) the only really viable ones. It's possible to win with higher level skills, but its very inefficient timewise

Just to thank very one for their feedback and playing Reprisal. I didn't think my first game would do so well so that's been great, really chuffed. Will be releasing tweaks soon.

I wish the units were smarter. A enemy's hero will be wrecking my cities and my guys will do absolutely nothing to stop it

This game is under rated i think. The idea behind this game is.. amazing. The whole forming colonies, war, special powers, terraforming, its all stupendous ideas, but not perfected. You could work on the controls, using the arrow keys and WASD is a little hard to use, the minimap is the best way to control the map, i think it would be a good idea to have different speeds (pause, x1 (normal), x2, x3) something along those lines. Work on the graphics a little. The pixel graphics are cool, but perfect them more. Expecially in the terraforming mode, its very hard sometimes to see if you have to go up, or down, ect. Also some more levels :) and a freeplay mode is a good idea. Maybe add in upgrades like how fast your people spawn or move or how strong they are in fights, how much mana the spells cost how powerful they are, like for terraform it could make the radius bigger. So on. But good job on the game it rocks! i look forward to more please :)

Quick and easy way to add flat land to an ocean: Terraform a hill upwards, max 3 clicks. Add each click to the peak of the first hill. After finishing the hill, terraform down, at the center each time, until you reach the bottom. Finally, fill in the last pit, and you have a nice sized flat island.

I just spent about an hour building an enormous, perfectly square, perfectly flat island. I feel strangely fulfilled.

I used waypoints to guide a path to the totems in some lvls. SOmetimes, i have to use multiple waypoints to reach a totem.

At first I found terraforming to be really slow, but after a little bit you get used to it and figure out how it works and it gets speedier. On the other hand it would be nice to have a little more explanation in some instances. Like with the skills there were many times I had no idea what a skill was supposed to do and had to try it in order to figure it out, and with ones like whirlpool I darn near accidentally destroyed my own base trying to figure it out. Also, I'm kind of confused with hero totems. Whenever I try to release one it says 'you need a leader'...I thought I was the leader. That's what they call me after every level. What leader are you talking about? Granted, I never really *need* to use a skill other than terraforming to win, as the enemy appears rather unskilled at using it and thus expands terribly slow, but still.

how do i stop my guys from just running around randomly and only doing what i tell them to if they wnader somewhere they can do it?

I have to admit, it's a great strategy game. The music is great and everything. My only problem is I can't seem to get past level 24...

Production of people could use to be a little faster, but besides that, go you! Hope you add highscores (level completion, total score, etc) and then hopefully the rating will be high enough for badges.

Finally beat level 19. Here's how:
Distance yourself from Green by destroying your own land and build more towards Red. When you feel sort of ready, attack Red by creating a bridge. In the mean time, make sure Green isn't doing the same to you. If Green throws a Hero at you, wait until he is making a bridge, then collapse it and make him drown. Basically lower the ground under his feet so its water. If you're luck you won't get a lot of spells cast on you besides that. After you've finished Red, go after Green.

Comlete all 30 maps. Game pretty easy, I'm lost only 2 times. Hope there will be the sequel with some new features like different lands and tribes (like in Populous DS), more spells, stones and auto-landscaping (this feature was on SNES version and in Populous DS for single building at same time). Its really hard making every segment of land for building. Oh and ofcours made warrios with unique ability and stats (like in Populous DS earth warrior balanced and make rocks after winning, fire warrior had most power and less stamina and after winnig make fire pillar).

Guys, a tip - if you focus on creating and then leveling small mountains (from water, three clicks up, three clicks down, one back up, all on the same square) you can clear land MUCH faster than working one square at a time. Level 19 was trivial to me; I had far more people than the computer could keep up with.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@spineless i have the same problem currently and if you look the cpus have a large store of starting mana to be able to call upon heroes to raze your single city in the first 30 seconds
