Tip: Don't expect anything to be explained or make sense at the end. It seems like the story is going somewhere, apparently significant plot points are raised, but then it just ends with a strange nothing.

I spent the time to get the green key but it didn't open anything (yes, I walked all the way back to the library, everything was still locked). The puzzles leading up to the final boss were interesting but the final boss is incomprehensible, I give up. Frustrated. Wish I'd realized right away this is similar to Undertale, which I also did not enjoy.

I absolutely loved that game! It was so funny and original! My brother didn't stop laughing xD I think my favorite joke was the talking plant one

Badge name probably wouldn't have been named "Pretentious Pet-a-doggy" (nor should it) but it would have made me laugh.
Actually, that was part of the original plan (I was going to have a joke based on any UT inspired name), but I felt like it wouldn't really fit with the game that well. Like, the "Talking Plant" was pushing it as is, but an Easter Egg like that would break the tone too much, IMO.

Honestly, this game and Tauriel's name is so close to Undertale there's no way it's a coincidence. (Thanks to Undertale's creator[s] in the credits)
Yeah, it isn't. I'm too tired to explain it now, but you can read my "What happened to 5 Step Steve 2" forum post that explains the name (and understates how I wish I had changed the name more).

very good story, good gags, good bgm, good game
and that was good to have cheats for people who are bad at typing, thx

Hmm. . . On the one hand, I just played a game with deliberately confusing instructions, which I always hate. . . On the other hand, I found out, at the end, that I'm a human adopted into a family of dogs. . . 5/5.

Developer- Lame, very lame, not worthy of my time or a badge for that matter! To be fair, I give you 2/5 (much room for improvement).

The game title (name) and even the description set wrong expectations for me. It's more of an experimental (flash) adventure game, with typing. It is not a typing game in the usual sense. I was so annoyed with the "quick brownfox" that I almost sent a bug report about spaces, only afterwards I realized it's intentional, not just a bad game. (It still is not a game for me, but I completed the badge.)

I noticed that at the end of the game, when we re-enter the original classroom, there is a note on the ground that seems to indicate a secret passageway to the right of the room, but I haven't been able to access it. Is it meant to be an easter egg?

This was actually a super interesting and refreshing experience. I know it goes without saying, but the charm reminds me a lot of undertale, and I hella dug it. I'm pumped to see what you make next!

Ok, IDK wtf you did to Doggo, but I'm glad I smeared cheesy dust on your keyboards and disrespected you! HE says you didn't hurt him, but I'm gonna rip you a new one anyways! Also, wtf was up with the plant and the key? Ok, I made a plant talk?

so, I uh, named my character, me. Then when a certain event happened the teacher was all. The winner is, me! I got confused at first. I was like you were typing too? oh wait, me is me.

I didn't understand the need for the vending machine and buying a snack from there. More importantly. You can get a bag of "cheetos" for a dollar? What kind of currency is this?
Loved all the little easter eggs in the library though. Very well thoughtout. I really enjoyed this game

I didn't know you could make a typing game that interesting, gg4dat
also there were quite a few references to undertale, I guess ?
