What do you mean by "money grubbing"? The game has no pay wall anywhere. All paiments are just optional if someone wants to unlock everything faster. We tried to make the game as friendly to free players as possible, and such definition is totally unfair. You know, we make games for a living and we need to eat too (yet, the game can totally be played with 0 money invespment from players).

Actually a lot - no hard limit is set at the moment except that we have a rule that if you do not progress in ranking 3 fights in a row the session ends and the fighter retires. Soon this rule will be changed by age which at the beginning will work as a hard cap of 100 fights and later will allow you trying to become the oldest champion while fighting injuries which will include even dieing in the cage if you push your luck for too long :)

No, it works like you select which stiles to be shown - default is all and you can hide those which you don't want to include. Then each time youo are presented with a choice of two techniques randomly selected from these styles - hypothetically you can end up with choices of only one style but the chances are small. Yet, this is a draft system so everything is possible.

1 turn is quite rare but yes, it gives some advantage to the bots. Yet all the strateggy is in your hands. In all cases we try to not create a 1 turn moves (the rule is that it needs at least 2 turns to play actually) but in all cases bots reaction is better than players. A new update is coming wich will address some of these issues while preparing the game for the multiplaier. Thanks for the feedback - the more data we have, the better the game will become.

Hi, yes, indeed it is by design - you have a warning the firts time you fail to progress in ranking and if you do that 3 fights in a row you lose you contract. This feature is temporary though, and will be replaced soon by the aging of fighters. When aging come, there will be no need of an end-game rule as long as thi fighhter is alive and don't get too old to risk dying in the cage ;)

Well, the game is in development and each style starts with only few moves. Yet, it seems you have visited quite advanced karate school if all the moves we have now are in your white belt exam :). Well, we are aiming to have a microtransaction as any F2P game - we need to have profit after all - but we are also gamers and we are strongly against agressive monetization and pay-walls so we can asure you, the game will be possible to be played totally for free - no string attached. And eventually we could have a release of a single player campaign game which is not F2P too but the game is primary designed as a F2P model, which of course should support microtransactions.

Damage is not always scored as more - number of hits is much more important - Judges score aggression (i.e. attacks but are not so impressed by damage dealt which they can't always judge correctly - which is a stat mainly for you as a player). But still, the score system could not be the most correct one - we are still balancing it to show the expected resulst. Thanks for th efeedback!

Hi, it is true the game would benefit from shortkeys which were active at some point, but sine its primary control scheme is with touch or mouse we opted to move them out at this stage. Yet, the game is not finished and alll these builds are WIP and we are experimenting with the best approach. We will also add two additonal speeds for the game - one slower, and one faster (yes, we also have this feedback). And currently the fastest control to play is by Double click which also works - no need to drag (which is not the best control with the mouse). Thanks for the Feedback.

Under rating threshold (show) I think you should update it to show us exactly how our scre system is calculated. I have a submission type of character that had 16 submission attempts against the ai's 2, longer time on top than the ai, much less strikes than him (which is likely if i'm allways going for submissions), and the ai did more damage. This counted as a win for the ai. That by the looks of it had close scores and i would like to have seen exactly how close i was to winning in terms of points.

Thanks for this feedback. I will need to check the scores system since it was not updated with the lasty update and currently if every submission attempt ends up with submission escape they nullify each other. But also submmissions which end by themsevles should score (and I need to check if the attemps are count properly). It will be updated if it does not count correctly. And about the scoring system we will eventually show current rounds score so players will know if they need a finish for the last round but the clear scoring is not possible since it also take in account the "human factor" and on one and the same score if close, two judges could see it differently.

Thanks for this info but actually we can't find it although we checked for it specifically (and we could find it quite easily on other sites where the game is published) so it is either very hidden, or we don't have it yet. Maybe it unlocks at 10,000 plays - need to check with Admins though.

Under rating threshold (show) So following up on what someone else was saying about the computer being faster, the only time it is really a problem is when the game first starts. The computer can play a card before your cards load, if that is fixed the game will be a lot better.

Double clicking or dragging cards has to be one of the dumbest mechanics I've ever seen in a game like this where the computer opponent is flawlessly fast...far faster than you could ever click and drag a card. If this was a turn based game or it had better mechanics...and if the devs had the sense to realize that the computer is always going to be faster than the players...it *might* be a little better. You had a great idea, but everything went downhill from there.

Hi. Thanks for your feedback. The game could be frustrating at the beginning it is true but we took this decision deliberately and added real time reactions along with card mechanics to simulate the chaos of a real mma fight, where it is not enough to know your strategy but also to adapt and react properly under pressure. We are well aware that for some player, current speed is too fast and we are going to add 3 speed options - normal, slow and fast (yes, we also have complains that some player think the game is too slow for them ;) - so it is hard to satisfy all but with this option we will provide more customization. As for the AI, it is not so tough right now but we plan to make it learn from your game style (not your, personal but from other players as a group) which should make it much more challenging than it is now. And yes, its reactions are faster but your planning is way above its skills for sure. Thanks again, and we hope you will enjoy the game while it is evolving.

Under rating threshold (show) Personally I love the game it has small flaws but I think it might be cause my computer is crap and cant easily handle your game and it make the whole game go really laggy. I also love how when I fight I hear people talking and screaming and how they actually react to the fight when I punch my opponent... all this adds to more immersion. Yes, this happens sometimes with the AI when they have no valid options to play but it should happen mainly with lower level NPCs because the higher level ones have more moves in their tactic decks and should have much lesser chance to not be able to pick another proper move. We will work on improving the AI later on when we have more data but for now this could happen (hopefully it should be rare). Thanks for the feedback!

Under rating threshold (show) start out with a lot of endurance and speed training you win all 3 every time doesnt matter which style you have best runs are if both are at the +5xp next to each other or 2x endurance or 2x speed you can easily tko everyone before 3 arena because they are too slow and or dont have the endurance to keep up one more thing @Eskape2play what does exactly does the technik levels do? i have the feeling its useless anyway keep up the good work this game is super awesome i have beaten it over 10 times now and i am still playing it ;)

Well, leveling up a technique increases the damage it deals and also affects its speed although it is less efficient that just upgrading your speed and strength. We are currently working on increasing the efficiency of Agility and Accuracy which are weaker attributes now (but they will become more important soon ;) ). Under rating threshold (show) RNG on gym cards is kind of bad. If you don't get a good set, its possible to literally be unable to train certain stats outside of buying them. Game also has some stability issues, if you go through menus too quick, the game locks up. Its a pretty good game though, has room for improvement.

Hi, thanks for sharing about the bug - we are already working on fixing it so it should be better with the next update. As for the RNG - yep, it can be bad sometime but this could also make a great challenge for the players to try and beat the game with it (so far the game is not so big on content so having a bad run is part of the experience and it is totally OK to retire every time you don't like the seed) - this one will become more important once we add multiplayer but in all cases this is part of the game - to get the best of what you have and challenge yourself.

Hi, the permanent effects from the shop work only for this run and are called "permanent" just because there are also effects that work only for the next fight (it will be improved in the future when we add inventory but for now it works this way). Under rating threshold (show) Won first gen. Took boxing then went straight for the BJJ choke. Focused on speed and endurance after that. Only bought stats in the shop. ( got almost all my stats to 20 through shop even though i was ignoring most of them in training ). Would have gone for a second play though but didn't seem worth it when all i got for finishing the game was 1 agility.

Under rating threshold (show) Hey, the glitch people talk about where the game freezes between menus happens if the "back" button is pressed during the transition between menus. For example, pressing the button twice rapidly will freeze. I really like the game, but I would like it if the fights did not start until AFTER all your cards are laid out. It's frustrating that you essentially start the first round stunned.

Under rating threshold (show) Some of the Karate fighters go into a loop of throwing you down, getting on top, going off of you, getting on top, going off of you, etc. When you don't have the right techniques, you can't really do anything. I lost the game because of this glitch.

This is a loop that can happen in the AI if it was not set properly. We are constantly trying to clean the AI but still, it is far from perfect yet. Hopefully this happens very rarely and we will find a way to remove it completely soon. Thanks for the feedback!

Under rating threshold (show) I don't really get how sometimes submission victories occur so quickly. There were times where I just pull an enemy to the ground and the first submission move (first hit of it) would trigger a submission victory. They had stamina and hp ; and I eventually lost due to the first trigger of a submission move in the third arena.

Submissions are currently unbalanced exactly because of this chance to be a winning move before you can do anything against them. We are working on changing their logic a bit so they are more clear and understandable as well as escape-able but it will take time before we test and implement it. Under rating threshold (show) I enjoyed this game quite a bit but i do feel it needs some tweaking. Most countermoves are to stamina intensive or just to slow making them pretty useless. Also i would love some more information on what is considered a hold and what cancels out what. For example i had a fight where i locked in hammerfirsts and my opponent a rear naked choke. My move happened a turn sooner, yet both applied. I assumed hammerfists would be a hold and therefor cancel his choke. Instead while i was hammering him, he was chocking me but i could not break free because i was locked. Also how do you unlock the other fighting stances when creating a new fighter?

Hi Antro, Each restart of the game unlocks new styles - we locked the wrestling and BJJ for starting since they require more strategic game-play and are hard for beginners. With your next run of the game they will be locked, and on the third you can build up your starting deck on a "draft rules". Initially your fighter is not strong enough and some moves could feel slow but later they will become more useful. The defensive/counter moves are stamina heavy for a reason, else they become too OP. Yet, the RNC should have canceled your Hammer fist attacks and unlock your move - this is a bug which will be fixed. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Not that beating it is something bad - as long as it is still a single player game, it is OK to beat it finding an OP technique, but once we add the multiplayer it will be fixed for sure. Under rating threshold (show) @Eskape2play, you should limit the number of fight attempts for every fighter to 5, so we can't beat the same fighter to a pulp forever for extra money. It is actually limited - if you fail to progress in ranking 3 fights in a row you lose and need to make another try (with some new bonuses ;) ). Else it is quite OK to go and grind weaker fighter after every new progression - it is up to you to set your own goals how you want to beat the game.

As it was described by BatGojko - the game asks you to progress in the leagues and if you fail to do it 3 fights in a row you fail and need to retire. Of course you can abuse this rule a little by fighting lower level fighters for money but it is also part of the strategy - as long as you don't fail to progress 3 fights in a row (bow you have the counter shown after each fight in which you were not progressing). Thanks!

Under rating threshold (show) Really loved the game, despite the almost constant glitch when switching from store to training or arenas that forces you to refresh to continue, and the sometimes wonky fighting, would be 4/5 but the whole "you failed" thing is extremely pointless, I should be able to play the game how I want and try out as many combos as I want not be forced to stick with one set incase I lose a few, if you really want that in atleast give us an option to turn it off

Thanks for the feedback! We would like to know more about the mentioned glitch since it is hard to recreate. As for the "you failed" it is a deliberate decision that adds a level of re-playability to the game (we are not high on content yet). The game is based on roguelite mechanics - you try to beat the game, fail and restarts with some bonuses (currently they are automatically assigned but soon they will be under your control). First run is impossible to beat the game (or at least we think so :)) but every next run unlocks new options as well as making your fighter a little bit stronger. It is up to you when you will be able to beat the game (all three arenas). We know that currently the game does not communicate all this very clearly but we are constantly working on improving it - our last update was solely dedicated to communication the most important information in the best possible way (we don't like guided tutorials and we believe in just polishing the UI and improving the UX).

Under rating threshold (show) The timing thing is just wonky. I would start a move and the NPC is already mid counter and it seemed ALWAYS faster than me. Once I used a move a split second before the round end, it cost me all of my stam, got 0 back, so it put me at a disadvantage going into next round. A card popped up, when I perma lost (1rst character) and it soft locked the game. Had to refresh to continue. 1 fight I did, the other fighter kept standing and falling down and there was nothing I could do, If I tried anything, it took longer than the 3 ticks for stand and fall. Interrupts (not blocks) don't appear to work consistently either. Also I had several instances of waiting to use a 2 tick move, used it, but then it was 3 ticks and failed. I suggest “training" that covers when to take certain actions, what to look for, when to wait, the card system, upgrading cards, upgrading attributes etc. I like the idea, graphics and the layout but hard pass for now.

Yes, the real time card mechanic could be a bit frustrating at the beginning. For now we have only Pause button to give you chance to get accustomed to it and check all descriptions of moves and effects but we plan also to add three speeds of play - one will be twice slower (Slow) than the current one (Normal) while we will also add one which will be 50% faster (Fast) - since we also have this feedback from other player. We hope, allowing the game to be played on different speeds will make it suitable for different players. Meanwhile any feedback is very helpful for us so do not hesitate to share your experience.
