any reason why it's utterly impossible to duck when facing the guy you see after the shop before the gate? i have died over twenty times......really really REALLY sux. nice looking and cool idea otherwise. gave it a 4 star rating but ready to give it a big fat zero for that part =P

Really one of the better point and click adventures I've played in a while. Art, animation and presentation are superb. I rather like the focus on action with quick reflex puzzles in the fight scenes. Also, the inability to move backwards to previous areas turned out to be a plus for me. Hunting for objects, backtracking and long drawn out puzzles was never my cup of tea. And of course, finally, I loved the wicked violence =) Totally in step with the off-kilter story style for a fairy tale. Well done.
Thanks Ajax. Glad you enjoyed the game! Some people complained that you couldn't go backwards, which I understand, but it's interesting that you actually didn't mind it or actually, liked it. Hopefully I can get this game to the front page and make some badges for it... I've got 44 unique badges planned out! ..hopefully I'll get to make them all.

That was cool. Seemed kind of short, there wasn't even time to use all the weapons.. but I guess that's why there's multiple playthroughs.
The interface seemed a bit clunky since you have to click so many times and with such precision, but it's all good.

Cool game. Ore is on the ground after killing bow lizard and going down the ladder. Trade for sword at Hobarts{?} to beat the guy at the gate. + if this helps

It's a great game with fantastic art and premise, but the combat mechanics are rather difficult to figure out at first go. E.g. click on the arrow, click and drag in the direction of the arrow, click where the arrow is pointing? I have to admit I still don't understand how the battle with the ogre is supposed to work.

It was quiet good and interesting.... but I wish I can see the girlfriend at the end!) And the warlock Gorn. The finishing moves were sweet. The battle with monster was dinamic. I hate the area with archer (he died a beautiful death by a bomb8D) Yet there is a room to improvement like more parodic dialogs with Spark. And show us girlfriend!XD

"Will you go into the TV?" "Nah." BLAM - you lose, start over. Really? You're making me start over? I mean, no big deal to click on a few things again, but seems a bit unforgiving if the player wants to goof around and experiment with the options. Looks OK otherwise, though.

For the damn lazy, you don't dodge the ogre, you click it's face over and over and over around 13 times. If you had major issues up before you got there, you really suck. 13 people actually failed to realize you click the dagger when the arrow points at it.

Pretty good game, but I hate the elf archer. I've lost count of how many times I died because I either missed the arrow by clicking a single mili-meter too high or too low

I liked all of it. Except for the ogre boss. You labeled up and left as possibilities, when all you have to do is keep clicking his face. That's dumb. 3/5.

Not sure if it's intentional but on the screen with the ore/guy with the bow, i found that if i fought the guy first, I couldn't lift the rock to get the ore. No action hand. Just a heads up. Then I accidentally went to the next screen and couldn't go back. Really like the art and animation. I would like to see the player be able to move the character like most pnc's but it works as is. Kind of makes it unique. Only other thing I could recommend is maybe have the action hand show a tool-tip so you know what it is you're clicking on. (Or at least have the hand for 'move to new screen' have one or a different icon. Oh, also the doorknob in the bedroom was a bit hard to find and click on. Might just want to enlarge the hotspot a bit. Good game overall though!

I agree with Corloc, hitting the button at just the right moment is tricky. When it's a red arrow you have to click on it really fast or you get killed. I play games to relax not to get stressed!

Oh okay, just finished the game... well I liked it except for the fact that's pointless. I mean, you arrive in the game world, slay a few enemies, slay a ogre, maybe you find something you don't even need and then the game ends. So what? Except for the plot, Elf Story is great!

Sorry ESProductions, but i cant give a good rating to such a slow game (I dont really mind watching such a slow guy hanging around, but having to click twice just to open a door is a real pain) that also keeps killing me (that guy after the shop, please do something about it). Hope this helps, cause i really love the art and figthing scenes so after a few tweaks this game should be and easy 4.5/5

i thought we were supposed to be rescuing our lady friend? she never showed up in the game? also i can not tell you how many times i was killed by the last arrow fired and gorn that was tough man

the only reason id say this game sucks is because if you kill the enemy before getting the metal ore you cant win! you cant get enough kupos to buy the sword so you have to trade ore!

By the way, When i said ALL enemies, I meant all enemies bar the first one. I have played enough RPG games to target an immobile enemy within a timer, and choose an attack.

Nice and easy game, this game is INCREDIBLY easy once you know what to do. First playthrough, all enemies killed me. Second playthrough, I did not die once. Collectables were easy to find. The Game Controller was a fun weapon! 3/5 TOO EASY! took 10 mins to complete with everything. I am now farming kudos for #1 highscore. Estimated fun time: half an hour. Good Zelda references though. As i said 3/5. Maybe Casual, 5 minute, Phone, 0 Skill, gamers will find this challenging? 3/5
