5/5, now 1/5 got to 38/64, closed my browser, to find now save function.
You must be retarted if you don't put a cookie save function in.....

The ending is so touching. What a great game! The 8-bit graphics, the 8-bit music, and general gameplay! There were a few spots where pixel precise jumps were required and it got a little frustrating when I only needed one more pixel to upgrade, but that's all part of the fun. Fabulous overall! All five stars! d(^_^)b

OMG great game, two complaints the fact that the jumps have to be completly perfect also theres no save botton or auto save my computer shut down and i lost like 2 hours of work on this game also i wanted to take a break but i chouldnt over all 4.5/5 but ill vote 5/5 :)

It's very frustrating when trying to jump to get the pix -_-. The ending is sad and cool at the same time. I rate it 5/5.

I agree it's a little too frustrating to play. Color-coding the pixels might help, so you're not trying to grab an impossible pixel for hours on end.

This is a great game, most of the time. 63/64 and about to punch someone. I feel that adding some way of finding extra pixels, such as after 5 minutes of not finding anything the game will tell you where the last one appropriate for your evolution is, or just adding a few more pixels would make it much better. This game seems to be one of the ones that mistakes frustration and/or confusion for difficulty and justifies itself as a hard game.

Hint for those stuck as the bird monster. You can't flip the switch 'til you've leveled up again. Go find the other pixels.

Hint for those stuck on 63/64: you can go a step higher on the "ladder" top right if you jump out to the platform and then back to the ladder.

Oh my god! Like divine retribution for my comment the game phased me through the solid floor, I died and ended up back at the start of the game... Just when I thought the game couldn't get any more frustrating!!

Beautiful game. Although somewhat irritating when trying to reach the platforms, it becomes passable. And the engaging want to evolve draws you in to play even more. A truly beautiful game with a nostalgic feel, PixEvo deserves the 5 stars and favorite of many, if not all, players in Kongregate. Wonderful job, ED.

ive got 63/64 and i cant find the last one. they need something in this game that can show you where the last one you need is. makes it easier so you dont spend a half hour looking for it! (i didn't actually spend that much time, i like to exaggerate. ask anyone!)

I've arrived at a weird impasse for me, there is a lever i am unable to use after I've evolved into the bird thing that flies forever, i have 112/128 and i think this is the llever i need to progress.

Add cheats after you will, not something big but something like up left up right and then you jump 2 spaces higher, also add more pixels so if you are stuck you can go and search and when you are beast the extras dissapear

I don't think the jumps should be changed, platform games should challenge your ability to time jumps, if he made it easier, it would be a boring search and find game.

This was fantastic! I thoroughly enjoyed it! Everyone who complains about the jumping, cry a little more then learn to time your button presses.

I think the pixel folks stuck at 31 of 32 are having trouble with is located directly to left of spawn, through door, up pit, right at top of pit. Jump to overhang/cliff on right, then jump up and left to cave to get pixel. It is not an easy jump, but you can get lucky on first try. 63 of 64 is likely one of two places. Either you missed the one found on the steps that look like long lines (On the second step jump up and right instead of up and left). Otherwise check and see near spawn, go up / left on the alternating blocks. From top step you can jump and fly slightly right. I missed that one the first time I played, didn't think I could fly to it. You can, but if you have a hard time, there is a glitch step on the wall up there to the left. After you get 64 unlimited flying and breaking walls makes game very easy. In maze go right once, then straigh up.

I beat it, then kept getting stuck at 63 of 64. That one is well hidden. When you are jumping up the steps that look like long lines, when on the second long line, go up and right instead ofup and left left. The game is a cakewalk after that. To get through maze to fountain, in first room go right one time. After that straigt up.

GOD DAMN! i can't get the 32/32 one. you literally have to be on one god damn exact pixel to get it...i've got it b4 tho :(

Lol to a pro in platform games like me this wasn't too hard... Anyways good game but it becomes boring after a while 3/5

This game sucks, extremely unnerving with all the boring jumping, finding of missing pixels. Nice idea of evolution, otherwise I really hate it. Especially it does not have a save function, I can't take a break and play the game tomorrow.

It was a good game but like Jorden2k the jumps had to be time perfectly. I liked the idea of pixels to make the game but very touchy controls. 4/5

This game is a bit frustrating when you can't find pixels. And that happens a lot. The music is nice and the concept is good. It would be better if you put some extra pixels. You have to collect 128 and there are 140 pixels. Or make some pointer that tells you where pixels are. Or a minimap so that you can see the whole room and the location of the pixels. Overall, this is a frustrating, challenging, and beautiful game. 4/5

"Is this a glitch or something? I have 112/128 and I'm the flying beast but it won't let me push one of the large levers to open the thick doors."
Same here.
